Hi i have a 2015 corsa e and there a noise coming from the clucth/flywheel area, sounds like a piece of metal is loose inside and is scarping. The noise is not affected or stopped when the clutch is pressed down. The noise seems to speed up with engine revs. Any idea what this could be ?
@@How2FixIt1 Have you encountered issues with replacement luk clutch slave now having a flared end with oring and different to original setup? Will be trialling it later tonight but doesn't seem right

When fitting new pushing plate do you need any tool to kind of adjust it or just bolt it in
Just make sure it’s central and tighten the bolts a little at a time from corner to corner in a star order.
Do you remove subframe completely or just lower it enough to get gearbox out? Does the steering rack need disconnected from the column etc?
Yes the subframe needs removing. Just disconnect everything if of it except wishbones. Leaving rack, roll bar etc in situ. Thanks for your comment.

Do you need oil to fill gearbox up after ? I don’t have any just bought clutch kit
I drain it into a clean container and refill it. Thanks for your comment.

I think it was diesel? They wouldn’t be much different either way.
