Boy that rod rack is the cats meow. About to make one for all my Talicas and Saragossa reels for offshore. That nav light is slick too. Keep it in the bay boat and stick in the leaning post rod holder with a small battery.
Man, that was stinkin' awesome! Thanks so much for sharing...I don't have as many of the tools you have but will do this a little at a time. Have a blessed one...
I had made a pvc rod holder similar to the one you made with one difference. I put wheels on it to move around easily. I used the wheels and inserts from an old bed frame. I drilled a hole in the 4 corners and hammered the plastic female piece in the hole. I then inserted the wheels and off it went. .. hope this helps. Love the channel. Also made your best nav light period. ..love that . Keep making stuff!

Thank you Sir !! I appreciate you watching and thanks for the feedback brother . I figured a lot of ppl knew about the noodles but I just threw em in there for those ppl who didn't. The rod holder turned out pretty cool
This was/is the greatest thing since sliced bread!!!! I made one that holds 12 rods. I had to add some smaller PVC tubes to hold the top half of my two piece rods.... Too bad I can't send you some pictures!!! I really like watching your videos!!!
Awesome projects mate. Thanks for taking the time to do this. On the rod holders you could make different lengths of tube in each row, like one row short the next a little bit longer, in case some of your rods are longer than others. Thanks Mike.
Thank you Mike , your right you can redesign it any easy that suits your needs , I'm always saying it's about the idea , thank you for commenting brother
Good job. I like the rod holder the best, I think I will do the same!! Good idea to use a rock in your 1st project as it will not add more lead to our waterways if lost etc.
#2 saved me and made me say, why didn't I think of that?! Lol thanks buddy! I had a old baseball glove laying around, so I cut the fingers off and put it at the bottom of the tube, the padding and leather is perfect for protecting the tip👌

Hey man. I just made 25 of the fishing noodles! Per your specs, I got all the materials from Home Depot and Walmart, total cost $122.78. Less than $5 per noodle is a damn DEAL! Fishing them this weekend!! Thanks!
@@FishinNStuff One question. Is the 3" piece of metal rod enough to make the noodle stand straight up? I saw one vid that the guy said he needed to put a little water in the tube as well to help it. @@FishinNStuff I do actually. Perhaps a variation of the PVC rod mount that could also be broken down quickly to take bank fishing with a C clip or something. It would also be cool to have a storage rack that held 4-8 rods that could easily and quickly attach to either a truck hitch or roof rack.
Made the PVC rod holder just now, it works great. I spent $45 in material at Lowes. I added (2) 3/4" in the back for my boat camera/light poles. I don't think gluing will be an issue with expansion. I think I'll get some wheels and make it mobile. Thanks.

I appreciate buddy , and your exactly right the PVC joints are what cost ya . But ppl seem to like em . I like working with steel , but everyone doesn't have a welder . But over all its cheaper to work with if you buy used materials
I kinda like the first one due to the distance off the floor. if your shop is like mine it gets kinda dirty between sweeps. Great vids keep them coming.
A good fishing pole holder, if you want to mount it on the wall is just some PVC and a board. Saved me tons of room in my garage and didn't cost very much.

For a very cheap rod holder to store your rods in the garage, on the boat, or almost anywhere, buy some galvanized pipe hangers and install them along the edge of a ceiling two by ? in a row with another row of hangers on another two by an appropriate distance from the first row. For the butt end of the rod, I only fasten one end of each hanger so I can then put the tip end of the rod in the pipe hanger that is fastened on both sides and then the butt end then can be “snapped” in to the other hanger. I rapped the butt end Hanger with a few turns of elect tape for protection.
