I highly recommend you to go to Wuzhen, just near Hangzhou, one of the four ancient towns in China, the Oriental Venice in my heart, you will fall in love with the small Bridges, rivers and ancient traditional architecture there

Stay hydrated during the day and have fun!

Cons of Chna is no english, german, spanish, dutch, italian signposts to find your ways to hotels, factories , restaurants as foreigners. Chinese language is extremely difficult for us, we the europeans are like babies over there , cannot read and understand signposts, completely illetarate of chinese language. I had lived in 9 cities of China and never can speak or understand chinese language , only speaking to english speaker exporter chinese workers in Fuzhou, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Hong Kong, Tianjin, Shanghai city. Hey Eoin and Aisling, My hometown is a like 1 hour high speed train trip away from Hangzhou, guys. It is one of the very first 5A touristic spots in China, It is call Qiandaohu, or Thousand Island Lake. It is a lake with 1078 islands on it. and it is beautiful. Welcome to come and discover the beatiful nature there.
They didn’t really get to the best parts of Hangzhou 😢try to get away from the Hubin yintai area and hit the west and northern parts of west lake where the scenery is way prettier and much less crowded/touristy. And try to go into the mountains a bit in the backdrop and visit the monasteries.
Shanghai doesn't have many bins on the street.The government blames the pedestrians for not classifying their trash, so they just simply removed most of bins on the street.
The belly thing had an old name back in 2019 which is beijing bikini and I found it so funny so I can even remember it until now. not sure if here are still someone saying this name haha
