60psi with the vacuum line removed is easily enough to make your injector dead times super long which will cause it to be lean enough to stall at low loads
Love the content. Vote for longer videos, just want to see more of the projects and journey. Just picked up some merch in support. Excited to receive them. I got a 99 Eclipse Spyder GS, 97 Eclipse GST, 99 3000GT base SOHC all waiting for me.
Sounds like the fpr is not letting enough pressure out. 43.5 to 60 psi seems high but not too far off what you would expect (13 or so psi higher with vac line off). I'd try and get the pressure down to 43.5 with the vac line off and then get it tuned.
Hello there. Under driver seat you have shock sensor, and when he got bad you have exactly the same issue with car as you have. You have to pull out the seat from the car so you can reach the switch. Check that first. Best of luck.
You really need to get the OE workshop manuals and scan through them. It's an important asset. When warm, fuel base pressure with hose off is 43-45 psi and with hose on, 34 psi.
Did you ever get your oil pressure guage to start working. Im having a similar problem with my 2G GSX. The guage quit reading but the oil light is not flashing. Im going to try replacing my guage sensor.
Man I really hope everything comes together on the car. I'd like to see what kind of numbers it makes with fuel and bolt ons with the chrome. Looking to do the same on mine.
I just came across your channel and saw your GSX video from a week back. Didn’t realize you have a 3000gt!!! Dude… I had a 96 vr4 Spyder. Only made them in 95 and 96, and something like less than 3k each year. I miss that car so much. A little heavier, but the attention more than made up for it.
I replaced 6 different plugs in my car all because of the issue you have. Wires cracking, breaking, or plug breaking. I bought a plug kit that has plugs from 1 to 6 pin so not oem but at least they are new now. Your guys shop would be amazing with a few more lights inside lol
What was the name of the shop at the end? I’m in Ontario and just bought a 3000gt I’m trying to get back on the road. I actually found this video because the wire is broken to my oil pressure sensor and I’m trying to find what connector it takes
Bro I had the same problem after I put bigger injectors it's either a vacuum leak or switch to speed density your MAF could be the reason why your lean too hope that helps I went to MAF translator to be able to drive it then I went to speed density no more problems 😅
You have to adjust the afr with the engine off... Also with the oil pressure it's best to grab an actual sensor with the gauge to verify correct pressure otherwise you're kind of shooting in the dark. Best of luck. I enjoy watching your videos.
Miguel: woot got my 3000gt fixed finally woo!!! 3000gt: observe, while I completely shit myself at the most inopportune moment lol. And cause a massive back up in the middle of the street Miguel :🙆♂
Your videos is awesome :D I just found out that I am finally able to put some money down for my next project car. And all the parts I would need to make that car even more great was not that expensive as I might think :D This gives me hope :D Things are getting better, and so good that it's fixed :)
Hey bro.. I always watch your videos buddy and you are my motivator to buy a VR4… it’s in cool condition but my is ‘97 and I’m not a huge fan of that front look you know.. I want to change my Gt to look like ‘99 style so I’m searching for the headlights and front bumper but it’s either hard to find or very expensive… if you know someone in Canada please lemme know.
I have a 05 Acura rsx type s rebuilt title, it’s not prettey and I did rebuild the front end but it runs and drives strong and has a lower mileage motor in it if you decide u want tot rare for a Acura I have one I’m willing to trade but it’s definitely not a gorgoes rsx by any means
Damn bro! Why do this cars always let you down as soon as you start praising them? LOL Youliterally had just said it drives great and feels more responsive than it's ever been and right then and there it dies on you haha. Hope it gets sorted soon! Great vid, as always 👏
Anyone have a fuel feed line for a 1995 gsx eclipse. Left my car outside and someone took the intercooler turbo engine management system and my fuel line. The only thing is hard to find is the oem fuel fees line
Appreciate all the love your showing this chassis, definitely inspiration for me to source a transmission for mine.
I love the car and what it stands for. Hope you get yours up soon

Could make sense as to why my oem injectors went bad initially

Switching up the fuel lines to make sure the fpr can run correctly

Fpr return line is too small. Going to do all the lines

Been telling him he needs the honeycomb light setup 👌🏼

It’s the return line for the fpr. Going to upgrade my lines and see if it fixes it
@@MiguelDsm hopefully it does that car looks fun to drive I know you miss it

I’m here thinking how nice would it be to 4g63 swap that 3000gt and how much weight would you save
If only I was made of money and time. Would have been done haha
Looks into getting a Mazdaspeed 6!! But dam change the oil and see if there’s metal. Maybe check timing?
You can’t beat honda reliability though!
@@MiguelDsm I agree to that! But turbo awd is life lol ms6 would be a great addition to the awd fam!

@@MiguelDsm claro Bro
I'm a big fan of your work!
I appreciate that!
Man this car is just like my s60r, beautiful cars but man it’s a project
Some say it weeds out the weak. Great platform overall though
Miguel, is your fuel gauge always on E? The first thought I had when i seen you pull off was dude needs to get gas and soon 😅.
It’s not working anymore 🥲
A 350z would be dope to the fleet. 🔥🔥🔥
I’m not sure I’d they’re just as reliable as an RSX. I know those Hondas can last a while
@@MiguelDsm well that’s true yeah. Hondas are indestructible
good thing you haven't been skipping leg day lol
No kidding dude haha
I believe you should be at 43.5 psi with vacuum off. 60 is way too high.
Wassup bro new subscriber love the content 🤙
Welcome to the channel man. Appreciate you watching
goodjob🚗

Very entertaining
Thanks Kordel!
@@MiguelDsm 🤝
I believe it is the regulator and caused your OEM injectors to fail
Yup. Realized that after someone commented about it
@@MiguelDsm yeah I used to have a 1992 VR same thing happened to me !
60psi should only be read under 20psi of boost.

@@MiguelDsm Im sure it will! Looking forward to that vid!
Love the videos Miguel, I think you’d do some dope stuff with a 350z!
Would need to sell the dsm and Camry. Wouldn’t mind one as a daily
That eclipse is nice
Thanks!
The factory oil pressure gauge is crap. buy a real one
3th to be in the comment 😊

Fuel pressure regulator issue for sure

Make a stainless steel line. Might as well upgrade and make it leak proof. Won’t cost much
