So happy these cars are finally getting the love they deserve. Just got mine back from Southwest rust proofing after having underside restored. Cant wait for some better weather to get it out on the road. Love from the U.K😊
I have similar problem with oil light on my 95 VR4 since 2021. Sometimes (not everytime) it blinks on me during boost peak (16psi) between 3k-5k RPM. Below and above this RPM range it is completely fine. I changed oil pressure sensor, did not help. No oil leakage, new oil pump, oil, oil filter. I tried various motor oils also. With Amsoil it is less often (also helped a little bit with well-known lifter tick during cold starts :D). Oil pressure seems to be fine. I suspect it is some kind of gremlin in electric wiring - maybe engine in high boost pull cable from sensor lol.. Imo, when I have really oil pressure problem, motor should be gone these days. But I understand you, I know how you feel. This light should never blink at you. In few weeks I will pull my 3000GT from garage after 5 months of winter sleep, I hope everything will be ok. You are doing amazing content Miguel, keep it real.
Hopefully you can figure out the oil light issue. I'm not sure what the issue could b e. I'm actually curious now. Gonna do some searching. What kind of oil is in it?
Maybe you should consider being Miguel Mugen lol convert to S1 built AWD boosted Hondas lol less likely to break, easier to find parts for, easier to work on, S1 makes killer bolt on kits to make any Honda AWD .... lol I just bought a K Series Accord coupe which I traded my 2G for.. feels great not having to work on it 😂 😂
shouldve checked your oil pressure gauge in your triple pod. in the center of your dash to see if your pressure sensor is seeing oil pressure. If both are reading 0 well you got problems.
No way, that is the one light no one ever wants to see. Fingers crossed it is the sensor or a loose wire. Since you just did the timing belt it will suck to do all that work over again to replace the oil pump.
@@MiguelDsm awesome! I was hoping the evo would get done first! 1 car at a time for sure! Don’t do as I do and try to start them all lol I have 2 without a motor, 1 at the shop, and my evo needs to be tuned 😂

Keep the 3000GT content coming
Yessir!
Glad it was a wire issue and nothing more. Can wait to see sat video.
Thanks for watching!
@Miguel Dsm I wait for that notification on my phone haha. Your videos are the main reason I visit youtube.

That light should always freak anyone out haha. Glad to hear Youlle be taking yours out. Very fun to drive when running good
Had similar issue. I ended up installing an old school mechanical oil pressure gauge.
Better safe than sorry

10w40. Ended up finding out the wiring was no good
Love the 3000gt!
Thank you!
We love this car soooo much❤
I didn’t know u could get those sensors from orileys hood to know, mine just went out from aem
Yup. 70 for the gauge sensor and 7 for the Light sensor. They’re right next to each other
@@MiguelDsm thanks ! Getting mine today
Damn that thing looks so good
Thanks!

@@MiguelDsm you can get a EK hatch or RSX pretty cheap, get one and see how it feels... fun cars
Eres de admirar Bro!

Gracias bro! Saludos
I miss my 3000 but I don't miss how hard it is to work on
Haha part of ownership
Dang was wanting to see some track content
Same man.. hoping to be able to take it in at least once in its life time

It’s never worked. As soon as I saw the light I noticed the gauge jumped to high then dropped back down to below 0
@@MiguelDsm ok well, I didn't know that my b

It ended up being the wire up top thankfully! Next video with solution comes out this Saturday!
@Miguel Dsm hard to trust the wiring on our cars, everything is so brittle. Glad to hear engine will be okay
Are you going to put this up for sale on ebay?
0:34 did you say 99int?😳
You need an LCDBC to alert you when there is knock.
I think the flash file has the CEL come on under knock
@@MiguelDsm,
That’s true, but sometimes it’s hard to notice it on time… LCDBC has a buzzer…
Love your car!!
Thanks Anthony!
My DSM has 0 oil pressure yet it doesn’t run any different
Noooooooooo. I hope there isn’t anything majorly wrong with the 3000gt.
When I filmed this I was quite nervous. It ended up being something small either way!
@@MiguelDsm That's good. It's nice that it wasn't something really bad.
If the motor died in the 3000gt it’s time to 4g63 swap it!
It’s going to be sitting until the evos done lol

Haha. Nice meeting you there man. Had to add the clip
Hahaha appreciate it
Hope to see you next time I’m out on track again
That’s the plan long term. Really considering a Z or Rsx for a dedicated time attack car
@@MiguelDsm I think RSX 👌🏾
Yeah need to find a second car my self. Something to get more seat time in
Salve the Brasil 🇧🇷✌🏼
