I have this monitor. I think it is great. Very vibrant colours, only the hdr mode I had to adjust through the nvidia control panel to get rid of the greenish haze. Very happy with it. Horizon 4 looks amazing in hdr
Thanks for a valuable share buddy
Have you tried it with firestick? The colors on it looks washed out...
Thanks for the video. But regarding the colors Are the colors shown in the video the same as the actual screen colors? Because it looks quite pale from my side.
is this the same as the G32QC A ?
I am really enjoying mine a lot..
how to run the hdr mode ? means can it run on hdr using hdmi cable ? i want to connect it with ps5 . ps5 got hdmi 2.1.
And contrary to popular belief I think hdr is worth it. Looks amazing in Sottr and Forza Horizon 4
Fh4 looks beautiful
Nice video!
I currently have a 24'' IPS monitor with little light bleed.
Is the bleed noticeable in general, besides total dark screen?
Thanks!
They are visible once you turn on the screen but are not distracting or noticeable at all even in dark games imo.
I have a different effect, the sdr beam (more saturated color) shows than hdr (just some kind of dimness only the brightness of the screen)
Great Video
Can you also provide the best display settings for gaming and Productivity
Thanks
I use built-in presets that comes via its software. I keep it on standard. And switch to fps when gaming
Wonder if you can help.
So I’ve bought this monitor to game on the PS5.
Seems the monitor is locked to 60hz even though as you say 165hz is available. Don’t worry I know PS5 is currently locked to 120hz for most games including my go to Apex Legends.
However I bought as I though running at 1440p and 144hz would be an ideal monitor.
So how do I unlock its potential?
Is it because HDR is on as standard on the monitor and therefore presumably stopping higher refresh rates? If so how do I disable this to test as I seemingly cannot from the joystick controller settings and I’ve done all of the usual turn the PS5 into performance mode. This has bugged out my whole weekend and I’m still no closer to working it out. Any help appreciated.
Use hdm cable and you will get 4k resolution
hi ! Compared to the dell s3220dgf , which one do you think gets the upper hand ?
I haven't reviewed the dell s3220dgf but specs wise, it has better black uniformity... other then that, you wont go wrong with either of these two
Can i connect an external speakers through this aux port on the monitor?
Is my dream monitor now 😩
Gigabyte seem to have nailed this one with its budget :D
It's a great monitor, I just got it last week. Exceded my expectatuons.
@@RADERFPV excellent mate! Nvidia or AMD?
@@4RAYSTECH Nividia, just an old 1660 super paired with a ryzen 1600af that I built last year. A few titles hit the 165fps mark at 1440p to match this panel, but I'm usually just on youtube :) Hope you're doing great!
@@4RAYSTECH hey I have a huge problem when a object moves in a dark area it’s completely blurry
I've owned this display since launch. Will replace when LG releases their 42 inch OLED display. Not a bad monitor for the price and haven't had any issues. Any questions ask me
Thanks for sharing experience. Anyone has queries spill away
Are the pixels obvious? Many people claim 1440p is too low for 32"
@@SEBZxELITE No, the pixels aren't noticeable at all. Only complaint i have is if you turn on HDR through windows, blacks appear very smudged when scenes are in motion
@@SEBZxELITE I am still using it, You can go as high as you like and still want more, here its about value for money, it matters.
Have you played many FPS games with it? How was screen tearing and ghosting?
I have this monitor, Idk how to use HDR, do I enable it in game or in windows or both. When I enable it in just MW2 it looks very gray and washed out, can you help please
Hello, I want to ask is there a noticeable black smearing and if yes, then can it be reduced via the menu settings?
Haven’t noticed smearing as much. It’s a budget monitor and for that it does offer superb value. I still use one for both video production and gaming with no complaints
@@4RAYSTECH Nice, thank you!
What are the best settings for this? Just bought mine and am disappointed with the picture quality... I have an Acer 32" 1080p curved that cost less than half and it looks so much better...
For me out of the box display was fine, I hope you dont have a faulty hardware. However im usually using OSD Sidekick to manage display. my settings rely on Standard, gamma 3, normal temp, overdrive is speed, the rest is all untouched for the preset, I keep the brightness to 30. AIM FREESYNC CROSSHAIR, all 3 options are off
@@4RAYSTECH maybe it's cus im comparing it to another 32" that's right next to it but the brightness and picture quality just doesn't compare to the 32" Acer Ed320qr that's 1080p
@@4RAYSTECH it's weird I install osd sidekick and my display looks better now. Idk if it did a firmware upgrade but thanks for the advice!
It's the firmware.
@@4RAYSTECH hello ma friend, i buy this monitor, and im really happy, i used to game on a 4k 43inch TV 60 hz! Monitor have really good colours, image smooth, no problem with monitor... my problem is wwhen i try to install OSD on my pc, instalation start, reach 100 percent and blue screen my pc, i try 3 times... i want to update monitor and i cant.. loool srry for my inglish. Big hug 💪
Is the g7 odysey samsung 32" worth getting for 200 € more where i live ? G7 650€ Gigabyte is 450 € ..
Really the choice of your budget. 200€ is a lot of money so definitely comes with improved performance. Plus mainly it's a Samsung 😁 so it's a brand premium too
@@4RAYSTECH i dont mind paying 200€ more if i do get a better product.. im just wondering how much better is it apart from 240 hz
Honestly I haven't had an opportunity to review the Samsung odyssey monitors as yet. On papers odyssey 32 g7 is better than g32qc but I haven't experienced is so definitely I can't personally verify it.
As for spec comparison, Apart from 240hz local dimming is better color accuracy is slightly better.
I would review it if I get a chance to ✌🏽
How i open option gigabyte for monitor
You can use software OSD SIDEKICK
Or button on lower right back if monitor
I use software
I have this monitor but refreshrate in games goes on 60hz in monitor settings and in warzone its locked on 60hz

Btw i checked every setting about refresh rate on windows and nvidia control panel
Have you installed osd software for the monitor ?
Also changing profiles will help fix fps and so much more
Can you wall mount this monitor 🤔
Yes supports vesa mount
Power consumption??
75W
Can I play fortnite at 120 fps on this monitor ?
I'm running 165fps
@@4RAYSTECH I mean on the ps5
