I absolutely loved this story! I'm not sure if I heard of George ?, before, but I sure hope that I can hear more of his stories. Bravo, it held me, the whole story. Thank you, Mystery Theater! From one of your fans, keep them coming!!!
The brother's character is a disaster. What brother - other than one raised by a FLAMING narcissist of a mother who'd scapegoated Amy from early on - would listen to the oily blandishments of the manipulator (and Florence is a TERRIBLE manipulator - way too obvious) and take HER side over that of his kid sister?
1977 please come back
♥️♥️
Awesome! Thank you MysteryTheaterRadio.

George Lothar. He was quite an accomplished man. Writing was just one of his talents.
awesome crazy twist on this one! bravo!
very twisty brilliant I've liked every single one I've listened to keep them coming
Whoever played Florence was amazing. Reminded me of Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty
You're right.
I love that Florence character, she's deep. 'not a chance Jack not a chance'. 😎
Great story very interesting.
OOOOO6!!!!!!
Quite exciting! Great story.
Love CBSRMT but hate when I figure it out early. Pretty far fetched, as most them are, but still fun. TY MTR
To be clever is a blessing and a curse...😉😉😉
Awesome
About that ending... Shouldn't someone mention the body buried in the rose garden to the local police?
Anne Seymour does a delightfully ghoulish job playing Florence.
Okay, I have to agree that anyone who picks up an axe and hands it to an axe murderer and says, "Go ahead, kill me!" IS pretty darned stupid.
I've never heard this one before. SCARY!!!!
Love these old radio shows! Even though I'm fairly sure 2 able-bodied guys and 1 gal could've subdued a middle-aged gal.
Maybe. I wondered that also, but fun story.
@Jacee K / I’m with you 100%
good story.....
Good story. Florence was a real hoot.
❤❤❤❤❤❤ from England ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The original creepy pasta. 😊😊😊😊😊
Good result for Florence x
Jack's a two-timing creep!!!
All of them are creeps, but the victim gal!!!
But--who gets engaged two weeks after meeting someone???!!! 🤣😂🤣
What ? There’s something wrong with you.
These CBS stories are quite good, but I find the short bursts of music between scenes a little over dramatic.
jeremy pearson, I agree. That aspect of their production has not aged well.
Too damn loud
At age 9 the music is what made chills run down my spine while listening every time.
I loved bedtime CBSRMT. Still today.
Thank You.
That only adds to the “old time mystery charm”! 🤗
💆♀️😇
