I think that I can speak for many that we listen to these delights from the past as a break from the ridiculousness that is our current reality. How one statement can turn so political is beyond my realm of comprehension.

    * Here's another thought "
Each time I listen to a particular story I remember so many times and I just had this exact comment in another CBS Mystery Story play however you want
    to call it.
Somewhere around 1968 1971-72 me and my buddy Jimmy, we got into building car models and we would be in the dining room table what a summer day if it was raining. Because kids back then they were always outside playing not glued to a TV like today in video games.
Anyway on that rainy Saturday we be building the car models with a little bottle of paint and my mom and Aunt Joan would be in the kitchen listening to the same radio shows Mystery Theater that's how old he's really are.. all the adults of today we're the kids of then.
They were such happy memories now they're happy memories and then it was just a rainy Saturday.
Everyone out there kind of knows what I mean.
Well as I said in the other comment back to the play radio show whatever you want to call it.
Oh and once again thank you for bringing back such great memories that we all personally have.

yes. $ 3.00 then was a lot of money. You see, I remember 1966, and back then you could get a loaf of bread for $0.69 gallon of milk a $1.00 or maybe even less. So $3 for that crystal ball once a lot of money then.
When one of my uncles would give me $0.50 I will be able to buy candy.
Does anyone out there remember the candy bar that was called :
    Charleston Chews
It was probably a foot long and it was chocolate covered vanilla strawberry or chocolate like a toffee.
    That was my all-time favorite.
But back to spending that $0.50 cents
    I would get
    -- 3 Charleston chews
-- a big bag of red candy fish
    -- a Milky Way
    -- and a zero bar
Which was white chocolate and some kind of nutty inside.
    ___________________________
So $3 then was a ton of money to a kid.
    I think even the 1970 ,
When my mom would send me to the corner store, you could still get a gallon of milk for a
    $1.25 or $ 1.50
Things were so cheap back then, so kids today when you give them a dollar they look at you and say this is not enough, how I wish we could find a Penny Candy Store once again. Now that last sentence is for the older people like me that remember of what I'm a talkin about from 1960's and 1970's.
    Well back to the play
    And thank you.

+Gooniddly : As near as I can figure, the cop shouts "Ferrar, look out! That truck!" Followed by Paul yelling, "John!" So the "John" character was run over by a truck at the end, after running away. Hope this helps!

It's a sad state of affairs when, given the fact I pay a huge bill for my tv shows.....and still there's to watch unless I like The Bachelor, Dancing With This Washed-up retired Sports Player, some clueless Teen wanting to shake her rear-end for "That Gorgeous Mirror Ball" trophy. (I'd be willing to bet there's at least one on right now EBay right now!), All kinds of Odd Individuals dressing up in bizarre costumes so we can vote on which one will be "Unmasked" at the end of the show. The first season was very good, but after that it started to morph into some weird "guess who!". Basically the show is designed to allow has-been's try to kick-start some people out of their fancy houses and mingle with the little people!
It has now become a vehicle for the "Guessers.". The black-haired chick always dresses, acts and is overly made-up to resemble a middle-aged prostitute! She plays that part SO, SO, SO well!!! Jenny isn't as bad, but she wears way too much make-up. She doesn't behave nearly as slutish.
The two main guys are just as bad. The Asian one is hysterically funny. I like him very much. The other one at the end of the guessers is moronic and so happy with his own self he doesn't care about anyone else. I
It's too bad you guys sunk this show completely.

This tale is hurl. It is insidious not to have objectivity towards oneself. The villain made up his own placation of a larger than himself and the others around him . He imagined he had made new ground to allow the ease of deciding murder. Nothing ever explains murder. Why do individuals make up fantasticals to allude to implausible reasons that can not be murdered at all like people chosen. This place never breeches toward a person pointed out for deadly contrite. It never gets any cohesion

I'm not I'm not sure I understand all of what you said, but I do know this much not having objectivity toward oneself is the president of the United States at this time, Donald J Trump. I think that's the kind of person you're referencing here?

@@nanamarion5003 I think the dust and hoarding have gone to your head. Also, you may want to update your hearing aids, because Biden is more entertaining than Trump. Biden is Comdey Theater, if you ever get bored with Mystery Theater. Oh yeah, " my body, my choice". Why does that not apply to those who choose not to stay in lockdown or wear a mask? Yet, it applies to a woman having an abortion? I'm genuinely curious, since you decided to make it political.
