These paints were beautiful, highly pigmented, vibrant, clean colors with 18 of the colors being reliable in regards to how they flow/disperse. They are mostly staining colors, not good for lifting techniques. If you prefer pastel, muted tones, this set would last a very long time watered down. I found them to make easy transitions and beautiful washes wet on wet. I also used them for layering, as shown in my demo painting, as each new layer did not effect the layers below.
