Hello from Ukraine:) its a young brand here, when i was studying we were using other ( honestly, only one brand which could be bought in Ukraine, its foreign), so im sooo happy we have now our own watercolor! I started to paint with this it only this year, what a pity) bought my first pallete in the april, it was totally illogical because of war and total danger everywhere, but it would be pity again if as Ukrainian i wouldn't try our watercolor brand if most awful thing happens. Its not very easy to find here famous foreign brands, we usually buy it from internet only, i would like for sure to compare Rosa with some other interesting brands, just for myself, hope to do so in future, and must say Rosa is good, it was a surprise:) Thank you for review, i still watch lot of them, even working with that paint already, only because i love those review videos so much.

Hello from Ukraine! Thanks for this video! Yep, Rosa is a relatively young brand, and we are proud to have one of our own :) finally! I personally use different brands of watercolor, such as Rembrandt, Schmincke and, of course white nights (before the full scale war happened). So I had some skepticism about new brand of watercolors, mostly because of it’s price. But of course I had to test it to have my own opinion :)
I did bought few tubes of colors I use the most, and did the comparison with other brands I have. I did the swatches and mixes, and let it hang on my sunny side window for 2,5 months. So, I can say now from my own observation that Rosa’s lightfast and quality as good as Rembrandt and Schmincke, as for such colors like Cobalt blue and Ultramarine. They look very similar, except one fact, the washes of Rosa gallery looks more smooth and even because of it’s good flow on paper.
I also did test of Rosa’s Olive green, Blue Indanthrene and Cadmium Yellow, all the colors haven’t changed, and I am happy about this fact :)
Thank you for making video about all the colors, it was informative :) And very pleasing to know that people from other countries trying paints from my country :)
    Sending love from Ukraine! ❤

I like this paint so much I'm not going to be paying for other brands again. I've never had this kind of responsiveness or control. Perfect for wet in wet work. It blends without separating or leaving weird looking lines, it lifts without leaving score marks (even after you hit the danger zone when the paper is drying) I really hate saying this but Sennelier isn't worth the price with this stuff on the market - it's really good paint.

Thanks for this demo and all the detailed info. I have been wanting to try some from this brand, having heard good things. Looking for some single pigment colours with good transparency for mixing--easily identified thanks to swatch card and seeing the paints swatched and dry. Wonderful! I had my eye on the PR122 and PB60. Will probably also try the PO73, PG7, and PY150. Happy to be able to support a Ukrainian company, one tube of watercolour at a time.

Thanks for this. I appriciate the time you took to properly swatch them. Seems a lot of similarity to White Nights and I wonder if you could compare the two makes? p.s. I have noticed that Umbers and Yellow Ochres are colours which tend to be quite hard to rewet in pans and even in sticky paints containing honey, they seem to dry rock hard in pans.
