Impressive. One of the best box truck conversions I've seen (my humble opinion). My favorite bits: layout/use of space; storage; shower.
Thanks!! We love it so far. Thanks for following along.
Doodles are the greatest!
haha they are! He's loving life on the road
The dance moves in the intro made me subscribe 🤣🤣
More dance moves! Noted 😁
Sweet!!
Thanks Again For Streaming Your Life
I'm Ron Burgundy?...
That bed area makes me claustrophobic just looking at it!!
haha that's what I initially thought. We might go with a thinner mattress, but it actually is pretty roomy up there. Unless you're a proper sit-up night time reader!
So much space! I like that you used as many items that you already had instead of buying new
We definitely saved a bunch of money by repurposing!
This is one of the best box truck builds on youtube in my opinion. I just bought a 14ft E350.
Thanks!! We busted it out in just under 3 months! Might make some more modifications as we see fit. Let us know if there's any other videos you want to see. Cheers!
Just passed you guys in Lanesboro Massachusetts. Awesome rig. If you find yourself out near Berlin New York and want to crash, we have a big yard you can park in and relax down by the river. Safe travels.
Haha just saw this! Well glad it worked out 😀
that came out real nice
We like it so far! Currently living in it full time. Thanks for following along
My husband just bought the truck, and even though we have a 5 year old & 5 month old, all the more motivation to make this happen for our family in the future! Not as a full time home but personal family camper. So much inspo on RUclips. You were the first video I clicked on.
That's awesome!! It is a very fun and challenging project, but very great way to travel and camp! Hope you enjoy the process
Very Creative Build. You have lots of storage. You could use a projector in front area to save space to watch videos.Since already have white walls. Lol. Enjoy Your Time cruising and dancing. God Bless and Keep Safe.
Never thought of a projector!! We might just have to try that out haha thanks for the suggestion. We'll give you a shout out if we do it ;)
💗 the energy!!!
THANKS!!
Very nice and clean 👍👍👍
Thanks a lot
Looks good, nice layout, and storage.
Love your energy ...... great intro
Thanks Brian the Brian! Gotta keep it fun
Amazing job you two, the box looks so comfy!! I have subscribed, I can’t wait to see all your adventures!
Hello thank you for taking the time to do what you did this is exactly what I want to have maybe a little more stealthy but that's exactly what I want to do thank you for taking the time again have a great life and enjoy your trips
Thanks!! Definitely ways to go more stealthy. The dirtbike on the front really doesn't help us with the stealth haha
WOW, you packed soooooo many rooms into your design, Very Nice , some r really Genius & great use of space 👍👍👍
Thank you!! Honestly it's more space than we really need haha we did it quick (only built it all in 2 months) I think there are little things we would tweak if we did it again. Might make a video on that! Thanks for checking us out
Nice job! Propane shutoff solenoid = smart. 👍👍
CLUTCH! The propane system took some figuring out, but very happy with it. We'll probably do a full vid on our system
great work!!
THANKS! we love it so far. Currently on the road full time
Very nice build, love the shower addition
The shower is so nice! Even if it's a short one, a warm shower makes all the difference out camping!
I love it. Y'all did a great job.
I really love your build!!
I could see myself in the same build. Very cozy.
Thanks for sharing.
From Spokane Valley, Washington.
Thanks!! We love it so far. Will update with more detailed videos and more from our travels. Follow along. Cheers!
for 20k, its is REALLY nice and wise investment
About a years rent for us! So yeah we think so. It's amazing how little you actually need to spend to make it work.
Impressive. Great design and job
Awesome Creation! Peace.
✌🏻✌🏻thanks!!
Love this! Love your build you two. Excited for more videos!
Thanks Blake! Coming to Cali soon
Definitely a cool build with great consideration for where to put your stuff. Having that shower is a great resource as well. Nice job!
Thanks David! We love it so far. Currently living out of it full time. More to come, thanks for following along.
@@theboonboxers Excellent. I wish you both the best in your adventures.
Great job on your build.
I love “the boon box,” and you two seem really down to earth, new subbie here!
Thanks Apryle!
They seem incredibly annoying.
Best build out I’ve seen thus far. Absolutely love it.
THANKS Dakota! We love it so far. Currently living out of it full time. Thanks for following along. More vids to come
Great layout. I like how you have a nice living room space. So many of these small designs are like 60% kitchen, with little living space.
Hey thanks! We might make a vid on what we would change, but it is very comfortable! Enough space for 2 and a dog easily.
I like it!
very nice
Nice job. Hope I can do something similar. Happy trails!
Good job! That’s one of the nicest conversions I’ve seen.
OMG I love your home on wheels. Very nicely done.
Thanks! Feels like home now :)
I really like that storage under the bed and the pass through to the cab. Well done.
Full shower?! Hells yeah. That potty option is a deal breaker for me though. Lol.
Have great adventures! be safe!
We like it so far! The toilet... Well it works haha
Great job. Love it
You this is really nice its actually laid out inside low key exterior I love it you won't know its a home at all
THANKS! We love it so far. Thanks for following along. cheers!
Beautiful build enjoyed the video
Thanks! We love it so far. Currently full timing on the road
I just love your box truck built out ! Fantastic job!
Thank you very much!
It was awesome to meet you in Ulysses Kansas today!!! Safe travels on the rest of your journey!!! Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!!! Your van is so cool!! 😎.
Terry & Donna Maas & Moose 🐶
Idk we're just seeing this! We LOVED our time in Ulysses we often tell people about you guys. Much love! Thanks for your hospitality. Turns out we stink at making RUclips videos haha maybe we'll make a couple more eventually. Cheers from Vail, CO!
Amazing, I love it. I wish I had your skills. Enjoy to the fullest.
Thanks Diana! A lot of help from other DIYers and the RUclips community. Thanks for following along. Cheers!
Wonderful...I love it!
Thanks Luz! More vids to come. Thanks for follwoing along
Really like your layout w/the storage below the lifting bed. :)
Thanks Larry! Turns out we suck at RUclips haha it's a lot of work... but the bed shocks are GREAT!
Love this. I need this space 😍
You'd be surprised how little space you need to be comfortable! Thanks for checking us out
Just found you guys.
Great Build, Thanks for sharing it. Going ti have to watch our other vids now. Just hit that nice big red button and a big thumbs up
Saweeeet. Same to you 🤙🏻
I love the layout. Its better than other ones I've seen.
We really like it so far! Feels just spacious enough with two! Sometimes the dog gets in the way haha
Nice build!
I like the build. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Roger! Keep up with us. A couple more videos on the way.
impressing and cool idea
We like it so far! Currently on the road full time
@@theboonboxers I am doing it in less than 2 years .. gathering ideas.. good luck
@@ziaali5264 I wish we had 2 years! We did ours in 2 months haha it's definitely a learning experience
Love your home. Good job on the build.
Thanks Paula! We'll add more videos of the build and travels, thanks for following along. Cheers!
Love it 😍
We do too! Thanks
I appreciate the silliness here. Sometimes you just gotta dance and enjoy life's blessings. Nice build guys. 👍
THANKS! Gotta have fun with it. Thanks for following along. Cheers
Nice
Gave ya a like. good stuff!
ImpressiveI have subscribed, I can’t wait to see all your adventures!
Welcome aboard!
Not a bad build out y'all. Good for you.
Thank you!
awesome
You guys did an AWESOME job 🤜🤛 Safe travels and happy adventures from your newest subscriber 😉🚚
Thanks!! We love it so far, currently on the road full time
Nice job!
Nice build! Love the bed on lifts for the extra storage & reusing the bed frame & mattress.
It works great! We definitely saved a good chunk of change up cycling our old materials 😁
@@theboonboxers yes, you sure did. That is awesome! Thanks for your reply! Have an awesome time on your journey! I subscribed & hopefully will get out there FT one day soon!😀
@@theboonboxers I thought that was so awesome that it came with the ac & hardwood floors too! I hope I can get something as awesome as that.
I wanted to see your tall big self step into the shower and do a faux demo on how roomy it is. Some use that shower rod that flexes out to make more elbow room. Sweet layout and build! Noice 👍
We do need to cover the shower in a little more depth. We're planning on doing a walkthrough of our whole water system. Stay tuned! Thanks
Love your box truck.
Thanks Judith! We like it so far. We'll keep ya updated if we start to not like anything lol
Your bed gives me an idea
Works well for us!
NICE!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Excellent job. Really a great feel to it. Maybe I will see you guys on the road.
One tiny suggestion........ A cover for your wave 6 when not in use. I have the same unit. I made my cover out of the material from the bus seats. It will help them last a lot longer.
There's Dianne! Currently in Florida. Yeah we did read up about cover for it. Ended up just getting the manufacturers. A DIY would have been cooler!
Nice video!!
Wow we love your build! It turned out so cool! That storage area for the snowboards is THE BEST! It was great meeting you in El Paso. Happy travels! We subscribed & hit the bell! Ps. Your dog is THE CUTEST! Merry Christmas 🎁 🎄
Thanks guys! Where you headed??
Really awesome build.love it.really spacy.
It is very roomy! We have been living in it now for well over a month. More videos to come, thanks for checking us out. Cheers!
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching! Follow along. more vids to come. cheers!
Love this❤️❤️❤️
Thanks! We love it so far! Currently living out of it full time on the road. Thanks for following along. Cheers!
Nice build. Only thing missing is a doggie
Westley is with us! Lil golden doodle. We'll have to make a video mostly about his travels haha
Beautiful home
We love it so far! Currently living in it full time. Thanks for following along. Cheers!
Nice!
Love everything about the build except putting the door on the roadside instead of the curbside. Looks great!
Thanks Tim! We actually bought the truck with the door already installed. We would probably have installed curbside next to the cab if we were to do it. Thanks for checking us out
Good job. I'm weighing my options to see what's the best thing i can do. I'm 7 feet tall and getting a box truck that's tall enough is probably the way I'll need to go. Anyway, I'm like wanting to get started and you have some good ideas too. Thanks for sharing.
I feel your pain. I'm 6'8 and trying to do a schoolie conversion. The roof raise is a huge undertaking
I’m 6 foot 7 and have to have a box truck as a van just wasn’t the right fit for me
@@resinapparelco433 Thanks for the feedback. Plus, I would need a really reliable stream of income to afford the initial adventure and taking on the monthly expense of being a nomad.
Nice job on the conversion, I am the process of converting a E350 cutaway van. I'm looking forward to your adventures
Ah heck yeah! Did ya get one with the side door? It's the way to go honestly. We love it so far! Currently living out of it full time
@@theboonboxers I Have the one with a sliding side door, kinda wish I the non sliding door.
Really nice van!
Thanks Heather! You outta get one for yourself ;)
I am impressed. The layout is really good. And you have a shower. That's really excellent. Of all the layouts I've seen, I think this one is the best. Only thing I would have done is get a thinner bed; I think the bed is a bit too high and I might get claustrophobic due to lack space above bed. I like these box trucks with pass through to the cab.
Thanks!! We love it so far. Currently living full time out of it. We probably would prefer a thinner bed. We just opted to go cheaper and use the one we already had. Definitely one thing we're looking at down the road. The shower is a game changer!
Nice build
Killer setup
For the cabinet door hold- opens; try some Stella door pulls w/magnets on the ceiling (Win enago did this w/their new Ekko). Low tech & pretty cheap. . . ;)
Very nice
Thanks
Nice one
_I knew was going to good, just because you ride a KTM!_ : )
KTM has been sweet! Hitting all the OHV spots. Currently living out of it full time and traveling. Thanks for watching and checking us out. Cheers!
Nice build👍
Thanks Traci!
clean and Fun-ctional! Cannot wait to check out your adventures! Need good insulation an d reliable heat, but fall and winter is spectacular in northeast, especially if you love snow sports etc. Have fun!🎇🚙❄🌄
Thanks! Where should we go in the NE?! planning on being there soon.
@@theboonboxers If u like to hike and see moose, MT. Kahtadin in Maine - the beginning/end point of the Appalachian trail, and MT. Washington. in NH, Route 2 thru NH & Maine. Lake Winnepesaukee or Sebago Lake. LL Bean in Freeport ME. If you like Seafood, anywhere along the coast/ocean. Acadia NPark. etc. If you kayak or fish, plenty of sea and lakes - just make sure to get fishing license. Winter skiing - lots of areas big and little. Sled dog and snowmobile tours. - Too much to list. Rest Areas on Rt.95 at borders are good for information booth booklets etc. Little artisan places wth pottery and glass blowing, museums, drive in movie theaters and water parks. Massachusetts - western part is more low key country ish. East, Plymouth Rock, Boston (tea party, old sailing ships n museums, great Italian food in North end), Lexington Minuteman, Salem witch trials State parks. Sorry Lol. I hope some of these things give starting points for investigating things. If you love hiking, try to find a guy Cary Kish I think- in Maine. He is a great outdoors resource.Best wishes and I look forward to see what you find 😃
THIS IS AWESOME!
@@leemartin9156 thanks for the extensive list! We are really excited about getting up to Maine. Hiking the AT for a bit is definitely on the list. We'll have to look more into the suggestions. You're the man
@@theboonboxers Wo-man lol😁
good job im in fla
Thanks!!
The budget and completion time are very impressive. 👍
It really is! Wish we had a little more time, but had to get it done. Currently on the road and loving it. Follow along for more! Cheers.
Any issues you guys encountered (with the truck itself) on the road so far?
Also, do you have a video on the plumbing set up?
@@enriquefausto5436 We're going to make another video of the full plumbing walk-through. Stay tuned. Currently living full time out of it with no major issues.
I really like it. Well done!! A window would have been nice, but understand why you wouldn't add one.
i want to know more about that ac unit now lol
Simple, not over the top hightech fancy and very intentional ..I LOVE IT! The only thing i did not like was the PRICE TAG$ on the box truck, you can find them much much cheaper than 12k used.
Thanks! Yeah the truck was not the best deal, but we only had a short time frame, plus a lot was already built out which was huge for us.
Love it! My husband and want a box truck but all the conversions we watched never seen one w a couch and living space plus shower that looked beautifuly put together. They all looked botched or pieced together. Now that we seen yours he is super excited but he is 6 ft tall so we are hoping to find a btruck were the bed will have a little more head room! How does your pup like it? Great job can not wait to watch your adventures bc I am a winter lover too, and not many ppl vlog about skiing or snowboarding its all beach life and trails. I say when our conversions is done bring on winter sports! Happy traveling!
Yeahhh! The vans are honestly overrated. Box trucks are just a little bigger but way more roomy. It's still a small space and have to do the dance when cooking, etc. But our ceiling is like 6' 8" or something. Tall!
We might make a video on what we like and what we would do differently, make sure to look out for that one! Haha 🤙🏻🤙🏻
@@theboonboxers your truck is very beautifuly done! I can not wait watch that video when you make it!
Great job guys. We’re your neighbors at Cracker Barrel
Ha! We love some cracker camping. Cheers Mike!
Great build. Love he shower👍
Hot shower has been AWESOME so far. We'll update with any changes.
Really nice build-out! I drove a truck for a living for 38 years coast to coast so some thing this big is not in my future plans when I go full time soon. But, I do admire y’all’s workmanship, space saving thinking, and, overall it looks really nice as a home on wheels. Good luck and stay safe!
Hey hey! Well thanks! We love it. Of course it's always nicer with more room, but we make it work.
Nice job on the build. One comment you made though got me concerned. Don't run the stove to heat your space! Propane stoves produce carbon monoxide as a colorless, odourless, tasteless vapour that is really dangerous in a confined space like that.
Hey DJ. Yes, clarification, we do have a good carbon monoxide detector that shows if the level is too high. It's more so in the morning with the fans on to heat up for a few minutes, nothing longer. Usually just boiling water for coffee is nice enough.
