Who in their right mind did the ladies hair in this production for Act 1? did no one actually investigate the period. Crazy hair creation almost doesnt touch the period, the styles were so exotic and over the top, it hardly ever got bettered. Sometimes one had to wonder how it was possibly done! And here? a few curls to hide the fact the ladies wear attrocious wigs. Though, lets be honest we're only here to hear Hvorostovsky, no wigs needed for that snowy mane!
