Horizontal Langstroth Bee Hive

I wanted to replace my existing Top Bar hive with a hive that supported the Langstroth frames. Here is the result. It has been a few months now and both the hives appear to be flourishing.
One thing that I do like about the hive, which is probably only suitable for warmer climates, is the fact that the air can flow between the roof and the body of the hive.

Thanks Alex For Your Detailed Build Video, as an aprentice Bee Keeper with a more experienced Elderly Family friend I have been wanting to Build a Horizontal Hive for some time and Your design is phenomenal simple and straight forward, ticks all the boxes of the elements as a non seasoned woodworker, with minimal wood working tools to absolutely tackle this design with confidence and ease... Thanks Houston - and hello from Adelaide, South Australia :-) I did my first honey harvest on this hive about 3 months ago and am very pleased with the ease of access to the frames.
