The easiest way I’ve found to use soft pastels is to shave color off the pastels with a small zester or mini grater onto a piece of wax paper or parchment then use cotton buds to apply the color to your picture I learned this when using coloring books as a fast way to color in backgrounds this way your not constantly shaking off dust into the garbage can or blowing it into the air plus you can fold up the little piece of parchment into envelopes to save extra color for another project, Art supplies can be expensive. I love those kittens, I love all your art it’s really great.

Oooo you should make stickers from the cuddling cats, they are so adorable, I would totally buy it, just to have it on my sketchbook (maybe two, so I wouldn't be too afraid to put one on the sketchbook haha). :D They are just so cute. They remind me of my husband and me when sometimes I'm the gloomy one and he's the joyful one and sometimes it's the opposite and how we help each other to feel better.
Those kitties are amazing, please say you're going to turn them into a print and sell it in your store, I would definitely buy one. Great video as always :)
Oh those kitties are so cute holding each other, they melt my heart. :) Also, I'm always fasticaned by how you can combine these boxes even if they are very different mediums. You are very talented, great work.
You can combine soft pastels with watercolor. Dry on wet and dry on dry and then wet, you can also make your own watercolor with a little metal mesh as in a tea sieve to grind the pastel into powder in a bowl, a little Gum Arabic and/or honey and water.
Looks great, especially the cote Kitties.

One way you can use chalk pastels and not waste them you could make watercolor out of them.

I am not sure if i have seen but are you drawing, painting on a floor. How are you sitting?
This is probably a stupid question. Is there are residue from the graphite paint after it dries? Like if you brush any of it would it wipe off on your finger or smudge on the paper?
The art kind of reminds me of me and my girlfriend, in a way. I'd just swap the colors really. I fit more of a dark aesthetic, but am caring and acting a bit as a mentor since I'm very experienced in life after everything I went through (still learning on my new path of life) while my girlfriend is this joyful and colorful soul, keeping me company and making sure I'm okay at every step, all the while being slightly younger and a bit sheltered from most of the world and people around, so she hasn't experienced her life in the same way I did, and likewise. I guess that resulted in her being so much more determined and hopeful (I don't want to say naive, but there is some of that here as well; just overall high optimism) while I'm simply more depressive, careful and realistic, trying my best to read people before they can do any harm. We're both so different from each other, but we both find a common ground and expand it each day by learning more about each other and taking interest in what we do and like. Even though it's only been almost 6 months with her, I've never been this happy in a relationship. I love her to death and I hope I can spend my life with her ❤
