These have become my favorite watercolors ever. I’ve starting doing art I never did with before. Currently I’m using what I’m doing to donate to a local animal shelter so they can sell it for food and necessities. It’s been a long time since I’ve had something change me so fast.

The graphitints being erasable is such an interesting quality! The chartreuse almost neon colour is my fav from the first set and I can't choose a favourite from the graphitints 😍

I've never had a cat that wasn't absolutely terrified of the vacuum, even my little Dust Buster.
I once visited a fair which was pet-themed and there actually was a company that sold vacuum cleaners especially for cats and dogs 😂😂

I liked both of them. I couldn't decide which one I like more. I loved it when the kitten tried to 'help' you paint the second one. 🙂
My favourite is probably the cats with the bright umbrella! The other two are great too, but I just love how much of a story the umbrella piece tells. It looks like its a page in a storybook or a still from something like Totoro (ok maybe its just the rain and umbrella and animals combo).

I have both of these sets in pencil form. I love to sketching with the graphitints.
Love the third one the best! I especially like the texture of the background, with the bright colors of the umbrella popping against it.
I love the combo piece, the contrast is nice and not jarring. I love the muted colors of the graphitint pic and the hair in the intense pic. Also, it's super cute that Sally likes the vacuum!
I really like the mushroom girl and the two cars with the umbrella. Nicely done with the colors and how you blend it together.
The last piece with colorful umbrella was the best and it was a nice mix of both the pallets
I love the Inktense paints the most... But weirdly, it's the graphite ones that remind me of ink. The colors have the same feel as Monteverde's Noir series.
I really like the desaturated look of the gemstone girl!
Also I find it funny that Sally likes to be vacuumed, the vacuum is my cat's life long mortal enemy :P
All 3 pictures look gorgeous and give a good feeling.

I want prints of all of these now!! I really love videos like this, I get to learn about new art supplies or different techniques for them and get to watch some great artwork being made! Keep on creating Marie!

Both paint produced a really good painting colour wise as well as by their mix ability and blending.I loved your drawings.I would worry a bit with the graphite one and would definitely have to treat the painting afterwards or store it in a sleeve to prevent smudging or transfer.I absolutely loved the kittens under the umbrella ,very bright and colourful and showed an excellent way of showing the two different paints working together.I also think the Graphite would work well in something like a scenery background using them as the shading and things like footpaths and metallic things like posts and watering cans etc ..You know what I mean ..Stay safe 🥰

I have the ink tense as well and they are really good to lay something down and then go over in normal water colour so the ink lines don’t bleed as much and there is more definition whilst also being able to blend over the top with normal watercolors!

That's definitely one of the reasons why I absolutely love Scrawlrbox, they put in some stuff that I would never have thought to try and some of them turn out to be really cool. I liked the Graphitint palette when I got it but had no idea how I was going to use the muted, earthy colour tones, despite that being the reason I loved it. My only concern is that the Graphitint paints seem a tiny bit chalky and almost like the graphite part doesn't want to completely dissolve. It separates in the palette as you mentioned but it also seems to a little bit on the page too, just enough to leave a kind of texture behind. This may be user error though as I am new to watercolours overall, even more so with these specialised ones.
I love the graphitint paints the best but the way you combined the palletes were also amazing. Can't wait to try!

I've had both products for ages and I love the Graphitint look, it's really appealing. I didn't know there was a pan set and so now I have it on order!
I love the graphitint paints, the colours, the textures 😚👌 you mentioned smudging, and they do do that, but I only notice that when using larger amounts of paints.

I love the inktense set. It's my go to, especially when traveling. I find that I prefer ink over traditional wc.
Cat-brella definitely my favorite, I just get so much joy from your cat drawings, the style is so whimsical and sweet!

Wow your last picture with the two pallets is outstanding. I have the graphitint paints only as I’ve just joined scrawler at the end of last year now I will be on the lookout for the Derwent ink paint set, so pretty. Aww kitten playing with brush so cute 🥰. I use my graphitint for scenes all the time love how moody the picture can look didn’t know about rubbing out the graphite so cool will give this a go. I use a light box if I do an outline of a picture on my I pad print the picture out then presto go over lines lightly with pencil and then ink um I don’t know if this is cheating but I love this method as then I can draw while watching tv and be with my family, just thought I would mention. Hi! I'm really enjoying your videos and this illustration is so lovely. The Grahitint pans are so unique it feels. When it comes to printing on watercolor paper, it's totally possible with inkjet - I do it all the time. There are waterproof pigment inks (also lightfast) for inkjet printers (mine is Epson, but there are some from other brands too) and you have to add the paper into the extra slid and choose the "thick paper" version to print them. Works beautifully. ;)

Personaly I like the inktense watercolors more...the graphite paints are too muddy for me 🙈 but I really love the drwaing with both pallets!!

My favourite is the inktense drawing.😊
I absolutely love Inktense! I have that pan set and the 6 set of blocks ScrawlrBox sent more recently, but I also own the full 72 shade range in the pencils. I just wish more of the reds and yellows in that collection were as lightfast as the darker colours. Some of the reds go as high as 4 or 5 on the 8-point Blue Wool scale but most are 2s and 3s and that's not good enough for display without special UV glass.

I would prob use the Inktense set more, I have a lot of the graphite colours in pencils, and prefer using them that way.
The paintings are all beautiful! I love the mixture of the two, but like the art on the Graphitint one best. I have the Graphitint pans and inktense blocks and pencils. They're great fun!
I have had my inktense palette for a while & have just bought Inktense set 2 which I also love.
I also got the Graphite palette in the Scrawlrbox which I was delighted with as I had wanted it for awhile. I really can't pick a favourite I love using all of them. 💔🧡💛💚💙💜🖤
If you have the inktense crayon, you can cut it and put it in a watercolour half pan to have an extra colour, such as the blue you want.

Sorry I'm late 😅 but I absolutely swear by my Derwent Graphitint! I love the moody tones and the way they contrast with some nice white gell pen or white charcoal highlights! They all have the beautiful smokey shimmer that just adds to the magical/ mysterious look 🖤 I still work with bright colors added to my art but the Derwent Graphitint pallet is so underrated! My ride or die 😂
For anyone curious about the pallette, just get it! Think of it as your "smokey shadows" eye palette! It works the same way

If you like the inktense,they have another set with different colors. Some places sell the pans open stock also. I love all three prices of your artwork but the first is my favorite.
I really liked all of the drawings, especially the last one. I haven't used graphitint myself, but I did buy the inktense set last year and the colours are so vibrant. Love how they blend together and just a little amount water goes surprisingly long way. It was a tad pricey, but it was worth of the money, it feels like the paints will last long time.
I watched someone else use the graphite water colors and their colors were even more muted! They look so nice here on your video.
I will say I like the cat illustration the best because of the contrast of the bright umbrella and muted background.

The art you did with the paints are amazing! I've got the sets as well and I love them - I've put them both together into a small watercolor tin. I used the prima set box. If you take the pans out of the Derwent box you can fit all 24 in the small tin :D Much more convenient on the go^^

Just so you know there is a second set to the inktense pan set. Think there is similar colours but different shades, should check it out ☺
i’m surprised you didn’t choose to incorporate erasing the graphite paints in your final piece :O i think you could’ve made some really interesting textures
I ordered the Graphite paints from Blick a little while ago when I saw Drawingwiffwaffles use them, she didn't like them so much but I'm so glad I got to see them used in another way before I received them! they are back ordered so I wont get them until next month :(

I'm surprised that the Graphitint paints are able to be erased!! I don't think I've seen anyone test that before. And I thought the inktense paints were supposed to be lightfast, have seen people use the Derwent Inktense PENCILS to make art on clothing, which will obviously be washed. So to see them lift so easily is so strange. They have a newer one with some inktense and some graphitint in the same box. Line and wash set I think it comes with some fine liners
