I love granulation, and I also love these colors. They’re muted but intense. Derwent now has another set, the charcoal series, that looks like mostly darks. I like how your big swatches looked, and especially hie they combine when you mix them.
Ordered these a few days ago, from Cult Pens (UK). Can't wait to try them out. I also have a few other Derwent 12 pan palettes, with identical packaging, so I stick the colour swatch chart to the outside of the lid, so I can tell them apart at a glance 😊
That's a very interesting product. I'm not familiar with these or the Inktense items but - viewing your videos - they seem like something fun to try. :) The packaging is underwhelming, though.
According to the color chart pdf on derwent's website listing for this product, only some of them are lightfast. You can expect fading in port, aubergine and russet colors which are as low as BW4 or LFIII. The rest are BW7 to 8 or LFI equivalent.

I love my Graphitint pencils! These watercolors are so gorgeous that I must buy these also!!!
When dry you can use an eraser to lighten the tone or colour this making them even more versitile

interesting! I am even wondering of you can erase thim with an eraser if graphite is the base :P Probably not, but curious if anyone tried!
How does it compare to using mars black or lunar black mixed with watercolor pigments? In terms of muting the colors or creating a sedimented look?

yes, they have 8-6 lightfast rate (8 - is the highest lightfast), except Juniper, it has lightfast rate 2
