Pointillism... a beautiful, frustrating, and patience testing technique for many artists. Ooof. I've definitely done it a few times and I offer you an artist fist bump across the internet for doing it and doing it well. Nicely done!
OMG, Sally's little paw prints on the snow were so cute!
Man! It’s been a quick minute since I’ve done either pointillism or it’s black and white counterpart stippling.
You did a great job! I saw some other artists youtuber attempt to use those markers and just she just used them like normal markers. It was frustrating bc she had a skill share sponsorship that she could used herself to learn pointillism.
Both pictures look great, aww your kitty in the snow supper cute, loved the footprint shot of his little paws.
So cool and super square sally kat is adorable
It was so cool to see you try your hand at pointilism with these markers. They actually ook really cool. I like both pieces, but that husky was particularly cute. I have a thing for huskies. It was nice to see your doodles and all the marks you could make with the markers/pens too. Thanks for sharing. Reminds me that I need to try pointilism.
I've always like pointillism. I admired the master of the late 1800's. You didn't even know they were points until you saw the painting close up. I love your two paintings. Especially the dog.
I think the art is beautiful. As usual love the cat intermissions.
Pointilism is hard but soooooo worth it! I love how the dog piece came out.
I loved your finished pieces, when I was younger I entered an Easter colouring competition and I coloured it with just dots and I actually 🥳won🥳 they said it was because I thought outside the box...😆...
I look forward to seeing more of your creations in your next video...
Take care & stay safe my lovely...
💫😷🐺🦌🍄😷💫
The doggo is fantastic!
I tried Pointillism in an adult colouring book before, as I am just learning to draw myself. I used Sharpies so it had a very similar look to your doggo portrait. I have always wanted to try it out again but with fineliners, I think those pieces with hundreds or thousands of black dots look absolutely incredible and it would be fun to try it with a set of fineliners in different sizes to see how the different nibs help/hinder the process. That could be a good follow-up video from this one!
Ooh, I love the idea of practicing pointillism in a colouring book! And I could try it with techniques like hatching as well. Thank you for the inspiration!
@@RadishTheFool happy to help 😊
Hey Marie, I just graduated from university and I have my first big time interview tomorrow. Watching your videos is staving off the anxiety of tomorrow and keeping my mind occupied and relaxed. Thank you for sharing your art and always inspiring me to keep drawing. I appreciate you greatly!☺️💖
You made pointalism look so effortless! 🤩
Have you considered using or reusing non traditional art materials to make a mosaic or collage?
Beautiful works! ❤️
And those little paws sign on snow 😍 Sally is so cute!
WoW your dog portrait is so pretty :) i forgot to answer your question on Patreon this week, but your art piece are so pretty. Have a nice weekend
So beautiful😻 as your work always is!
I suppose that Sally don't like the snow😸so cute.
I was really wanting to buy these but i wasn't very sure because it's a bit expensive in my country so this video is very useful to me. Also i like your style so much 💖
The little paw marks in the snow!! 💜💜
Man I really love all of your video's, pretty much half the stickers you offer are already on my wish list, your style is just so cute.
THAT IS AMAZING I LOVE THE HUSKY PLEASE DO MORE POINT ART!!!💜👍👍👍💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
That dog is the absolute best! I wish I could get Kuretake supplies more easily in the UK
sally in the snow aww so cute 😊
Aw, Sally’s little paw prints in the snow!! See Cats are secret pointillism artists!
Oh my~ the dog turned out so happy and cute! I love it~
Nothing makes me happier than seeing cat paw prints in the snow omg
Also - wow, that dog came out amazingly!
It came out super cute!!!
Oh wow I was doubtful at first but that second piece was very well done and looked like fun. Thanks for the post!
That dog art was really cool looking, turned out great!
A dog portrait on a cat channel!? BLASPHEMOUS! :P ♡
I love the dot tools they are so cool but kind of more in the expensive side
I found a cheap set of bingo markers in just the primary colours. They're perfect for trying out whether you like this enough to invest in a proper set.
It's beautiful
The dog looks like such a good boy!
Love how the dog turned out 💗👏
such a happy looking dog! 😀 great job creating the shapes with all those dots
I had a section on pointillism in my high school art class, I found it the one color assignment to be the most difficult. It was hard to make all the different contrasting lines and shadows with just one little pen. It took forever! I drew a 57 Chevy. It came out pretty cool, but I lost a few points for the nose of the car being slightly shorter than it should have been. Still got a good grade though. I’ve never done it again, in 20+ years, lol.
The dog turned out so freaking good!
I have these markers! They are indeed water-based. I painted the base colors of a sea turtle with them like watercolors, then the details of the turtle with dots. All I did was press the marker into a ceramic paint palette and pick it up with a brush! These markers are very relaxing to use, and like you said, they have a great doodle quality :)
Edit to add, I bought these when I saw your first Kuretake video. They intrigued me!
I like the dog. I love using fineliners to do stippling and these days I like that more than graphite, but whenever I add color things seem to go downhill. Well done for getting it done so well.
Amazing!💖🤩
I love your dog portrait, reminds me of my first pointillism piece I did YEARS ago of our husky we had when he was a puppy. I was inspired by a Doberman head my father did using pointillism and it has always been my favorite piece of art he did. It looks neat in the end but it sure gave my hand a workout haha.
I love your art. So satisfying to watch.
I love how you drew the dog!! :0
I love this style! Both pieces are beautiful :D
Wow. The dog looks awesome. The last time I did coloured pointillism with cotton swaps was in school. If I have the chance I try it again, as your results look so great.
I love both of the piece you made!
I loved this video ! So that what you were able to create with these markers 🥰
Wow! That looked really fun!
Suddenly, I feel an urge to color something using only dots. Seriously LOVE both pieces.
Have you ever tried paper cutting? It takes an xacto knife or something similar, some thick paper, and uses negative space styles for the result!
Love ittttttt, both illustrations look really cute😍😍😍
This came out so great! I love your art! 😄
An interesting texture you managed to show, not sure if the paper was slightly shiny so caused this effect... but the bigger dots often looked like bubbles! where the natural depression and lift of the nib made a more saturated outline, lighter inner with a darker dot in the center where you lifted! very cute.
Ahhhh that woofer is so so awesome.😍🤩
Love this! Please do more dotwork! I've always loved your style. 👌 Mvh gammal bilddagboken-fan 🌟
This is amazing . Love you and your art and your personality
Love both pics!
I loved these pieces so much!
Omg I’ve been waiting and waiting for this video!!
Awesome!!
I think you did a really good job on this drawing! It inspired me to try drawing a pointillism tree frog 🐸.
Sally didn't look too thrilled with the snow, lol.
I would like to see you use oil pastels (cuz I hate them but I know you'd nail them)
I really like the dog drawing.
Came out so nice! I've done pointilism before, only I used markers. :D
Very pretty!!
Very cool and well done 💕💕🐯
I had to do 1 piece in pointillism for my high school art class, I wound up doing a poster sized grey Great Dane. I'm not sure if I ever finished it or not, I had to use something along the lines of a fine point Sharpie although it was an actual marker. Wouldn't mind trying these out.
These look like so much fun! I especially love the husky!
I've done pointillism, I really like it! But it's too tedious for me. XD I have a piece I love and I started years ago and never finished.
When you upload i click so fast!
Your art is always so meowgical! 😹
Sorry for the horrible pun!
This is giving me damn flashbacks to when I was in school and did a pointillism piece of Henry VIII for my GCSE ahhhh it took FOREVER
Cute image. Love deer..
Your drawings came out great!
I have some Dot markers called Dab Itz that has a kit with vellum sheets. The way the kit is, it seems more like a dot marker version of diamond painting. I would rather something. ore freehand.
Wait, I’m actually en of the first comments? Lovvvee the portrait! I need to make more pet ports ^_^
i love your art videos :) You are best :)
It’s been a while since i’ve seen you, i recognized you from your pfp, fun fact, my elementary school teacher told me i should watch you. That was so long ago ! :3
thumbs up just for sally
So cutee😁❤
I don't remember if we have seen you try oil painting
Like it so much❤️
Hahahaha pointillism I lost 90% of my sanity doing that TwT it got to the point I wanted to throw it across the room LOL. Also your art looks amazing!
you should try one line drawing!!
sally is soooooo cute :D
I wish I could find these in Canada!
Pointillism! ❤
😊💕
😃
So you know RUclips idea of a short ad has gotten ridiculous. First was non skippable 5 min and second was over 32 min(over zealous &religious in nature)and skippable. You do have control on ad length.
On the other hand I now really want these markers.
Yeayyy im early !:)))))))))
I am early I am proud lol
My pointillism always becomes scribbles😧. After certain point I just give up.
