I do really appreciate this video. It's clear but also tastefully honest.
What was helpful in my youtube journey was realising that I am not the centre of attention, and nor do i deserve to be.
With every view i get, that is a person giving up their time to me, and that is beautiful.
These "get views fast" guzzlers who, for lack of a better phrase, touch themselves at good analytics dont respect what having an audience actually is.
And as a result, even if they got the audience of their dreams, it wouldnt fufill them, as they're always gonna set their expectations one notch higher.
Ironically, they wouldn't even know, as they're methods low key prevent them from getting the audience they expect.

yeah I 100% agree we make content to make the viewers day better or just to hear about something interesting, every view is a choice to engage with your content when they have nothing forcing them to do so and that makes me eternally grateful to them., and thank you for checking out the content as well i appreciate it.

This is actually good advice for anything. Anyone who gives out advice and does nothing else is just scamming you. Rich """"investment geniuses"""" got rich selling courses, not outsmarting the stock market.

I'm lucky to have an interest in a content creator and make edits of him for several years while also improving my editing skills.
I did get truly lucky with my Homer video tjat got over 500k views within it's first three hours of upload.
I had nothing apart from some bare knowledge in Photoshop and Premiere Pro. I now have over 750 subs (granted it's due to the Homer video).
If I started RUclips now and had no interest in it beforehand I likely would had been sucked into these types of videos.
