  • I decided to set all of my coilovers to the softest settings and drive it that way. Then I switched to hardest/stiffest settings. There was a distinct difference for sure. No more soft coilovers for me. Thanks for watching. Please Like, Comment, and Subscribe. Enjoy.

    I am on stock suspension and never feel stock is shaky at all. No moving around. When my PSS were shot, it was waggy everywhere, but once I put sticky PS4S heavy load variants with proper alignment and toe etc., no issues whatsoever. My wife actually feels my RCF is a bit too stiff. Body control is amazing on stock suspension where a 80 mph turn feels like a 45 mph turn and it is stiff enough without being overly stiff. No body roll at all when I throw it hard in turns. My views are very different on stock suspension. I have Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Extra Load variants on. I have two other Lexus cars and modified my other cars in the past with adjustable suspensions, but the RCF suspension feels perfect to me for hard driving. Stiff, but not overly harsh. Only thing I will change is, the bushings with RR racing for some more road feel and it will be perfect in my opinion.

    I had a nerve injury recently will take quite a long time to heal, and I might have to sell my S14 because it hurts so much to drive... it has BC coilovers, really don't know a whole lot about this side of cars old trucks are more my thing but always wanted an S14 not for drifting per say but what should I do? Will it still be super stiff with damping turned down?

    • @thehuangbros
      @thehuangbros  Год назад

      Spring rates also has a lot to do with it. You can always get springs that were close to oem rate but then it would be too little dampening. Setting it to lowest setting isnt always the best because it will unsettle the car if you ever planned to do spirited driving

    What is the extra fuse in your engine bay for? Usually I know those from sound systems, but your's probably does not need one :)

    • @thehuangbros

      The one over the fuse box in the clear thing is for my aftermarket amp. The other one in the black is for my stanceparts air cup kit.

    Hi man urgent reply please... I increased the weight of my axle n bigger brakes n calipers n joints n I m using same springs so I think due to this the car is really bouncy n excessively jumps side to side so I think I m gonna hv to change to a stiffer spring? Please suggest stiffer dampers helped around me 20 percent but still there is unpredictability

    Keep in mind, you´re not allowed to go as fast as you want just because there was a "no speed limit" sign. Alowed speed is 100kph. only on the autobahn there is a no speed limit sign that actually means no speed limit.

    Ummm hey bro, what the heck? I though it is common knowledge that you should NEVER set coilovers to max stiff or max soft. Max stiff is dangerous because it makes your wheels lose traction over every road imperfection, max soft makes your car swing like a boat. Dunno, perhaps this model is idiot proof, so "max" is actually not that extreme...
