- Using jumbo 7 weight yarn, a 15mm crochet hook and the lemon peel stitch, you can make this blanket in a day!
I used 4 skeins of each color to make a 55” x 64” blanket. The Bernat Blanket Extra, Jumbo 7 weight yarn is a pleasure to work with. It’s incredibly soft and the rows work up quickly.

This is a beautiful blanket!!! Will the stitch be as pretty if bulky, not super bulky yarn is used?
Thank you! 😊Yes, it even looks nice in 4 weight, but bulky 5 or 6 would be great! The combination of dc and sc makes that nice puffy stitch.
