A con you missed in all but the PopBabies is that they aren’t really portable! Portable, to me, means you can take it with you AND blend it up on the go. The other four all need to be plugged in to the wall to work. I’d consider those to be mini blenders as opposed to full-size countertop ones. So technically portable, as in easy to move from one place to another, but you can’t blend without power. The PopBabies has an internal battery that you charge up via USB and can blend on the go. Big difference for me because that’s what I’m looking for
I was just going to write this. I have the PopBabies, and I'm able to easily take it in my backpack to my office. Also, it IS the only one that is charged by a USB, although I wish it was a USB-C rather than a micro- USB. The other ones that are reviewed simply do not have the portability of the PopBabies.
I ordered one today and I cannot wait to get it. I have the blend jet one and it's just not that great. I also got a 32 oz bottle for the Blendjet 2 - very much looking forward to getting that too

I have a blender, but it is too big for my small kitchen. What I want is a blender that is portable, with good charge time, BUT ALSO can by pass the battery and just be plugged into the mains. Do any on the market have these facilities? If so it is a big selling point for me!
I just got one and I love it. It is also 16 ounces vs. 14 oz for PopBabies. It also charges using USB-C, whereas a lot of other portable blenders use mini USB. No issues b;ending ice and frozen fruit if you follow the included instructions. I’m very pleased with it. I may order another to keep at work.
@@Helcc - I haven't had issues with it losing power. The light tells you when it starts to get low on battery and I'm one of those who always has a USB-C charger handy because it is the same as my phone charger. I do use mini ice cubes or frozen fruit. I imagine it would have a harder time with large ice cubes. If I had a crushed ice maker in my fridge, that would probably be ideal. I have a huge, powerful (and loud!) Blendtec that I use for bigger jobs, but for my day-to-day smoothie/sauce/dressing needs, I always reach for the Blemdjet. I really love this little thing.

A con I would add to ALL of these is: You would not be able to travel on an airplane with one of these in your carry-on luggage. The TSA, or Immigration/Border Control Agencies would classify the blade as a weapon, and would confiscate the appliance. Depending on the country you are passing through, you may even be subject to a fine, criminal charges or arrest! If you have no packed luggage and HAD to carry to carry it on your person, I would ”Declare” it, giving THEM the option to let it pass or not.

there going backwards . the portable are the blend jet. these are backwards to the old fashioned.
