I have both, the "blend jet" and the Ninja blast. And as usual, Ninja makes a better product. The Ninja seals better. The handle is better. There are more blends per charge. The USB-C port on the Ninja is covered, while the blend jet is not. The USB port on the Ninja is in the back. While the blend jet is in the front. The rubber on the bottom of the Ninja is in a complete circle. While the blend jet has three small pads. This helps with balance while blending. Both the blend jet and The Ninja lid tightens and loosen through screwing on and off. But the Ninja has additional features that the blend jet does not have. The Ninja has two lids. One is attached, and the other flips on and off utilizing a spring. Also, there is a sip spout. And a there is a tiny hole to allow air to flow while ingesting the fluids. I could go on and on. But overall. The Ninja is by far a superior blender. And yes, it is twice the cost of the blend jet. But..... you get what you pay for. My final option is this. If you want to get a portable blender. I would definitely recommend the Ninja. Also, it will pay for itself through savings. Because the average smoothie made at a brick-and-mortar cost about $6. And so if the ingredients cost about $15. And there are 15 smoothies generated. That's about $1.00 per smoothie. And if you pencil out that $5.00 saving per smoothie. That's a savings of $75.00. My Ninja retailed at $58.00. Just in case anyone is wondering how people generate wealth. This is one of the ways they do it.
I can relate to this right now. Filled up my old blender with frozen fruit and brrrrr. So I'm sitting here with a jug of fruit and coconut water lol watching this .
I need one because I work nights and I like to have smoothies at work… I have the blendjet 2 but after that recall I’m over it. My plug in blender is a Ninja and hasn’t failed me yet!
Sir !!!! Your video's: editing, comparisons, and narrations are BOMB DEUCIE !!!! AWESOME !! Great job man !! What I really love is that you review the products the entire time succinct yet comprehensive all in one vid:) There are many RUclipsrs who are in love with themself and spend more time showing their face as they lecture when the video could be better put to use showing the item instead of their face OMGGGG !! Anywayyyy, great job buddy !! I subscribed just now LOL !!!
Totally agree, Ninja wins. This is good for portion control but I’ll stick to my Oster blender. Looks like it would be good for traveling though. Thank you for this video.
I've been very curious to see a side-by-side comparison like this, so thanks for that! I currently have a Blendjet 2 and find that frozen fruit and/or ice will often bog it down. It doesn't seem to happen quite as often when I use the Blendjet's optional 32 oz blender jar, but it still happens more than I would like. It will be interesting to see how the Blast fares in that regard as more review videos are posted on RUclips. I do like the sip lid on the Blast, but it would be really nice if Ninja would also offer a larger 32 oz container like Blendjet does. It's awesome for doing things like making pancake batter, two smoothie servings, etc.
I have the same issue with mine and I was hoping this would clear up a bit since I'm thinking of purchasing the Ninja. Their products are great regardless. Too bad its out of stock cuz they're so popular lol
This is the review I've been waiting for! Thank you. I love my Blendjet, but the lid on the Ninja is making me think twice. That's an excellent feature that requires no additional purchase to make it more user friendly.
Blendjet all the way if your a Costco member. 2 for 49.99 normally, but is on sale right now for $39.99. That’s 20 a piece! I did invest in the 20oz upgrade and sip lid from website though.
Blendjet has a 5v motor and the Ninja has 7.4,in my opinion the ninja is better… not only is the the motor more powerful but it also looks better overall
I’ve had the blendjet2 since it was released - so over 3 years It’s definitely long in the tooth by todays terms of technology I mean it’s a portable blender that you can’t even drink out of - unless you buy the additional lid which sets you back another aud$30 Ninja have the portability part right
I’ll stick with my blendjet. It’s currently more versatile. They have different sized jars for blending. They have a 16oz and 32oz you can order from their site. At some point they’ll sell better lids for those who are sold on the ninja lid
@@cameranmanner4701I've owned the original Blendjet and the Blendjet 2 over the past 5 years or so and I have never heard anyone mention that before so it must be rare. Maybe trying to overtighten it while it was misaligned?
I love my blendjet2 I make some much with it and it does crush ice. Blendjet just came out with a drinkable lid. Ninja is ok but I have had issues with some products but we all have our preference. Good video.
I know this video is a year old but you can now get the newer Ninja Blast in Sam's it comes with two jars, one cover for the bottom of one jar, and a cover for the blades on sale for about $40 normally $50 I just wish they had more colors in store like the Blendjet 2.
You actually can get the Blendjet base wet. I remember a commercial where they have it running under water. I've gotten mine wet often. At any rate, I dropped my BlendJet today on a rock hard floor, and it broke. So, I'm looking for a new portable blender. This video helped me.
love my BlendJet2 and have been using it for over a year nearly everyday. My son used it and poured hot coffee in it causing it to start leaking. I replaced the bottom seal, but noticed the threads on the cylinder
The feel of the buttons on the Ninja Blast have a sturdier feel. I also like the fact that the usb port is on the back and not the front. The sip opening is a nice feature as well. Hopefully they go down in price
I have had a Ninja Food Processor for many years and can’t complain about the quality. It would be nice if they offered a way to put a base on the vessel once blended so that you didn’t have to keep the blender portion on after blending. Then, if you got a second vessel, you could make two smoothies to blend and go!
Don't bother....Ordered mine over a month ago when they claimed they were in stock. After getting the runaround for 4 weeks they told me today there was no restock in sight and cancelled my order. At least you can actually buy a Blendjet....
Delughted to getthis comparison video! Thank you! I'll be buying one to bring on holidays. I don't need the larger size. I think I'll be getting the Ninja. Useful comments from others also. Best regards. G Ire
We have had the blendjet 2 for 3 months, we bought two and one charging cord stopped working then the other one stopped. I've been reading a lot of bad reviews on it
I like the blendjet But what I would recommend (I work at Walmart and believe) they need to mark on their box a side of the instructions Need to line up the 2 arrow marks on the back in order for it to start because it is confusing.
I have the original blendjet.. and its weak.. and i've been waiting for 4 months to get a replacement base under a recall they had me cut the gasket.. big strike against blendjet.. going to buy the ninja blast because i'm tired of waiting
I bought one for my wife and shortly after they had a recall which required her to destroy the product and provide proof so they could send a replacement… Well that was almost a year ago and we never got the replacement and they refuse to give a refund stating that they will provide a replacement at some point they just can’t provide a date. What a scam!

Had my blend jet 2 since last year Christmas. Worth every penny
All this because I’m craving a smoothie😭😭😭😭and hate making decisions
Get them BOTH
I can relate to this right now. Filled up my old blender with frozen fruit and brrrrr. So I'm sitting here with a jug of fruit and coconut water lol watching this .
@@out2lunch4😂😂😂
Angelmonae, you are now my tribal chief!
SAME 😂😂
Thanks for the comparison. Ninja Blast is at Walmart now for $1 less than the BlendJet. Just bought one today.
That’s amazingly
Wish you did bendjet for 30 sec as well. 50% longer blending is BIG difference
I have the Ninja model. I’m very happy with it. It blends ice and frozen fruit with no issues. It works so well I rarely use my plug in blender.
How does the charge hold?
@@monie0217 Very good actually. You can get 4 or more blends out of one charge.

This was the review I was waiting for. I have 3 BlendJet . Wanted to see what the Ninja can do differently.

Just use the 32oz and add liquid first and then the frozen fruit. I flip the blender on its size and upside down also.
I bought my ninja at Kohls
This is the review I've been waiting for! Thank you. I love my Blendjet, but the lid on the Ninja is making me think twice. That's an excellent feature that requires no additional purchase to make it more user friendly.
I just got the ninja Blast & im very satisfied with this product 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Amazingly done comparison

Great video as always!
Which is good
Thanks for posting this. It definitely helped me decide and I’m going with the Ninja blender 😉
This is what I was looking for. So now I have an idea which brand I want to buy.

Problem with their jars. They crack when misaligning the threads when tightening down.

Thank you for this very thorough review!!! Exactly what I wanted, love you go into your experience screwing on the jar, etc.
Thank you. I just bought 2 Ninja’s for my husband and myself.
Hope you enjoy it!
Does it start if the lid is open if you accidentally press the button?
I just bought one

I like the blend jet2 for protein shakes, but the ninja blast rocks on smoothies. I bring em both on travel.
thank you for this detailed review. the ninja one is the one i have on my wish list ❤❤
Glad it was helpful!
I'll order ninja as mother's day for MEEEEE 🎉🎉🎉
awesome!! you deserve it!!!! thanks for watching!!

I’m getting serious with my weight loss and am going the smoothie route. I guess a ninja blast it is
Excellent review but sorry to ask as I feel very stupid when you read on the blanjet 15 blends what does it mean? Thanks
Means you can do up 15 uses before recharging it
I was right. Ninja is better
That’s not what I saw! 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Very amazing blender, its portable i need this blender
Blendjet is cheaper at Costco
Yea but it’s a 2pak’
Great side by side comparison Thanks for this tip.

Great side by side comparison thanks for this tip
Blendjet recommends running two or three cycles to thoroughly blend a smoothie etc.
How does ninja do with leafy greens?
What about video ninja creami vs creami deluxe?😮
I have the original blendjet.. and its weak.. and i've been waiting for 4 months to get a replacement base under a recall they had me cut the gasket.. big strike against blendjet.. going to buy the ninja blast because i'm tired of waiting
Exactly why I’m here! I’ll probably be doing the same!
Really awesome video, thanks!
My Blendjet2 died at 6 or 8 months, will try the Ninja blast
Which is best for making kale smooth purée and not pieces of kale ?
Thnk u for this ,I'm using blend jet2 and it's amazing❤
You're welcome
I think I want the ninja
It's great and easy to use
Is the light flash green or solid green when fully charged, doesn't say in manual
It looked like bland jet blade was off centered so does it orbit around like a kitchen aid stand mixer
موخاں ہی موجاں شاندار ❤❤
thanks 🙏
This machine is very good in use
I put my blendjet in the dishwasher and never had an issue. The whole entire thing. Just on the top rack
Thank you for the information

Thank you 😊 buying 2 blasters for Christmas gifts!

Thank you❤
happy new year
But did they both come clean? Also how do they do with ice?
Can they do thicker shakes with heavier and less liquids?
