What's the point of portable blender if we have to leave the base at home. There are plenty of portable sippers and bottles that we can take with us on jog or running. Carrying a blender on work or traveling is the point. 😅
Not sure what you’re talking about…….the Ninja had a more blended consistency when you poured it out. Sounded like it was a smoother blend when you were running it as well. And I don’t see the problem with the way you unscrewed the top either. I don’t own either one of these but you presented this with a clear bias. Based on what I saw/heard, I’m siding with the Ninja.
I have had the nutribullet brand that plugs in. They work for your basic needs. The blast comes with a plug for the bottom and a blade protection cover. When you poured the nutribullet into the jar, it was chunky. Currenly, costso sells a 2 pack for $60 that has more on the ninja.
You’re right about the chunky. The blast I got from Walmart did not have the plug or blade cover. Costco has a two pack of which blender? A two pack 🤣 who needs two!? $30 each is a good price tho. You must be in the US as I haven’t seen any blender two packs in Canadian Costco. No surprise as Canada is way behind…another benefit of communism

Those safety’s are so annoying if they malfunction, I have a magic bullet where the tabs broke off so now I won’t blend. I’m sorry but I don’t recall if either of these had a safety that could break. I sold the one and donated the other. Using an old corded blender still. (Super old nutri bullet from 2018 from Costco)
You could see that the nutribullet was crap at blending the ginger. Big chunks fell out when pouring. The Ninja blast blended it all up without a problem!

If a company was insane enough to pay me anything to promote their crappy blender over a different crappier blender I think theyd deserve your business 😅 imagine me in a nutri bullet board room making that negotiation. @@TheLastHonestInfluencer 😂😂😂🤦🏽♂️ the most authentic review I’ve seen. Nutribullet owe you some money because I’ve just ordered one. Was this close to getting that ninja shite
Thanks for your comments man, really appreciate. And very happy to hear you’re going to save some money and get a better blender for your bucks! Have a good one
It was totally idiotic to expect people to carry a portable device including the heavy and big motor. What happend to smart product design ? So Ninja reacted and provides a tight lid now which enables you to bring your bottle without the motor.
Can’t tell you how many times I’ve needed to blend ginger marinade OTG and just couldn’t. Thank you so much for this excellent review. I need one for commuting to school
I’ve never bought a Ninja product (or a Nutripod), but started watching reviews like this after seeing an ad for the Ninja Blast because I love my Promixx and thought a portable blender would be cool. However you can tell straight away how incredibly biased you are as the first thing you started doing was blasting Ninja as a brand rather than objectively reviewing this particular product (because even bad companies can sometimes make good products and vice versa). Yes you made some fair criticisms like not being able to use it without the base (though another comment claims that’s now been fixed in an update?), however you can not only hear but SEE how lumpy the Nutripod was in comparison to the Ninja and yet you still claimed they were just as good as each other! It was also really stupid to point out the Ninja’s upper lid was splattered and then say the Nutripod’s wasn’t because the Nutripod doesn’t have one… You also said you’d assess how easy they are to clean but then didn’t - did you just forget or did you omit that because you found the Ninja easier? Both clearly have their pros and cons as well questionable design choices, but if you’re going to review stuff you need to put your biases aside, which you’re clearly aware of considering you went into a rant at the end to deflect any potential criticism.
If people think my reviews suck, they shouldn’t watch them. I’m not making any money at this so that’s why I’m not putting in the effort that you would like to see. Unfortunately, the effort level you would like to see I would have to have an affiliate link and I would have to make money from this video, but then I would have a bias towards whatever blender made me the most money… So take this review for what it’s worth and if you think it’s worthless good no problem. And you’re right it’s not the ninja brand fault that RUclipsrs make fake reviews saying how great their stuff is even even though they’ve only used it for the 30 seconds that they do in their review and tell everyone it’s awesome and they should buy it so they get a commission sale that’s just a great way to conduct business. In a free society, it’s nice to be able to share your true thoughts and opinions. I guess we should enjoy that while we have it hey
It’s heavy and awkward to drink with the base on it. Worse than an oversized novelty beer mug because this doesn’t have a handle. You gotta take the base off when you wash it. I tried blending it with soap, but all the little food particles get stuck in there. All that said apparently ninja change the design so the new ones are different now and better because they realized this was a horrible design. They made all the new ones better so don’t buy an old version. Make sure you get the most up-to-date version of the new ninja and it’s better and they change the way it attaches to the base and you don’t have to drink out of of it with the base attached to it anymore.
@TheLastHonestInfluencer interesting, I rarely need to use soap with Blendjet and it's pretty easy. Must be a Ninja thing. I don't mind drinking with the base on, but I have good arm muscles lol 💪
Will it be leaking problem like nutribullet personal blender? To be honest i plan to get ninja as i notice the opening is on top...unlike nutribullet,so i thought it won't be same leaking problem. But, i just found out based on your video that the base is detachable from the cup, so is there any chance for leaking😅? TIA
I know what you mean, that leakage is so messy and annoying. Unfortunately they all did it. You gotta crank them all on the base so hard to make them not leak.
I love the Ninja blast but everything in the video accurate but mine was 50 something from Amazon. Being on the move the blender and the cup being the same is super convenient but again the point about making a mess is true. I did try to pour my contents into cup at work and the poor cleaners had to stream clean the carpet. Ben at my job for ten years and this was the first time I made a mess I could not clean.
Just purchase one before I watched your review. It does have a base cover so you can drink from the cup alone and also have a blade protection cover as well. Currently charging the product. 13/10/24
I bought the Ninja Blast in Mar 2023. It stayed packed until we moved to FL. I unpacked and used it starting in Sept 2023. It no longer charges and cannot be used as of MAY 2024. Less than 6 months of barely using this piece of $h!t - it is unusable. It is no longer under warranty and I called Cust Svc. They offered a 30% discount to buy another one of their pieces of crap. I told them I would buy another brand that works and gave them a bad review on their post phone call survey.
Didn’t even last a year, why would they ever expect you to BUY another one from them, are they nuts!? Some ‘customer service’. Thanks for sharing your story.
Great video. Despite the price hike, I'm leaning towards the ninja due to the fact the base stays on. I plan on using it after a bike ride or at the office where I wouldn't want to take off the base to drink from it. I'll probably look to see if there are other similar portable blenders and compare. If I end up buying the ninja, I'll probably wait until I see a sale.

One thing I’ve learned in never pay full price for the ninja, they always start out at double what they sell for in 6 months. Weird market pricing strategy. Good that they started making the bottom thing. At half the price with the bottom thing it would be the same as the other portable blenders and I would have to pick it too.
@@TheLastHonestInfluencer you are right, I even got it for 38€, the one i have is not the same it seems like it's a new version has little improvements i noticed like the cover does not need to be pushed anymore and the usbc has a protection to avoid water in. Thanks for your video .

Agreed! Wish I had thought to say that 😅
The one at costco came with a base cover.
Thanks please do
Ninja Blast is down to $30 now at Costco. Can’t believe they were charging $80 8 months ago when your video was shot.
$30!? Classic ninja. They always slash the price half a year later
Mine came with cup, lid, bottom to make it a cup x2 and screw on blade cover
Seriously?! What the heck! How much was it??
Not sure what you’re talking about…….the Ninja had a more blended consistency when you poured it out. Sounded like it was a smoother blend when you were running it as well. And I don’t see the problem with the way you unscrewed the top either.
I don’t own either one of these but you presented this with a clear bias. Based on what I saw/heard, I’m siding with the Ninja.
@@dawnfiegen3249 suit yourself!
Yup! I totally agree with you
I have had the nutribullet brand that plugs in.
Absolutely amazing review thank you brother 🔥💪🏽
Thank you for your comment much appreciated!
What about the battery size? It may be a bigger battery in the Ninja which would explain the size, weight and price difference.
Great point!
Reckon nutribullet go would be able to blend a banana ok?
Feel like this is a trick question and ima get burned with a joke…but yes I think they would both blend bananas ok 🫣
It’s a preference thing. In my opinion every last product on the market is BS ain’t worth Sh!t!!!if you ask me 🤷🏾♂️
I think you’re right on both counts unfortunately. Hardly anyone makes quality it seems like marketing and profit are the main concern
What do you think of blendjet 2?
Never heard of it! Will check it out now
They’ve been recalled 😩
All of them!? Nice. Do you know why?

“This guy” did figure it out. It’s happening. Don’t believe me, keep believing fake reviews and wasting your money…
Might not be in India but it’s definitely in a country with loose regulations in an emerging tech sector.
@@TheLastHonestInfluencer I was in agreement with you. Companies DO resort to unethical and dirty tactics to sell at exorbitant prices, including hiring trolls to promote. They borrow the same dirty tactics used by politicians
My bad!!!! I’m so sorry. I’m so used to the actual trolls leaving snide comments, I’m not exaggerating I delete 10 per day, per ninja and total gym extreme video.
I will delete my reply to you and these comments if that’s ok.
My sincere apologies again!
I was in the dilemma of chosing between two. But after reading a couple of customer reviews on some online stores. My money go for the cheaper one 😅😅
Great choice! For half the price it's just as good. Thank you for your comment
@@TheLastHonestInfluencer in australia, they are just 10$ different :-)). But thank to online review, i make the right choice and did not regret about my decision, it works well and easy to clean.
glad to see u are not Creedy Grifter, great review i give this 5/5 review of a review
Thank you 🙏
do neither of these have a safety ? or did you just not know about them? my shitty chinese portable blender (that i'm wanting to replace) has safety that it will not start unless the base is screwed in all the way otherwise the blender won't start (its a little physical button at the bottom where it screws in)
Those safety’s are so annoying if they malfunction, I have a magic bullet where the tabs broke off so now I won’t blend.
I’m sorry but I don’t recall if either of these had a safety that could break. I sold the one and donated the other. Using an old corded blender still. (Super old nutri bullet from 2018 from Costco)
It uses magnets inside the cup to know when it's attached. so it shouldn't just start going with the blades exposed
Love the honesty!! Just became a subscriber bc of it.
@@Delph_a sincerely appreciate your sub! Means a lot!!
Great review - told me exactly what I needed!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for your comment
You could see that the nutribullet was crap at blending the ginger. Big chunks fell out when pouring. The Ninja blast blended it all up without a problem!
You should buy one then, you deserve each other
True Ninja is only name
Thanks for this video ✊👏👍✌
Amen!
When you poured the juices into the jars, the Ninja juiced looked less lumpy.
Are you crazy!?
@ I have eyes.
I like the rant at the end. But now it has me thinking, how do we know you ain’t apart of the nutribullet marketing team?🤔😂
Bro, have you seen the other vids on this channel? If a company was insane enough to pay me anything to promote their crappy blender over a different crappier blender I think theyd deserve your business 😅 imagine me in a nutri bullet board room making that negotiation. I’d demand $50,000, unlimited HJ’s at a seedy ‘massage’ parlour and a beater car with a sick nutri bullet wrap. Did I say enough wacky 💩 to make you believe?
Thanks for your comment man, I’m just some nut job with a weird RUclips channel ✌️
Agree!! At least they figured it out eventually
I'm with Ninja, regardless 😅😅
They need you, and they are lucky to have you.
I clearly saw that the Nutribullet Go finished blend was a lot lumpier when you poured it.
Because they both suck
@ 🤣
Can’t tell you how many times I’ve needed to blend ginger marinade OTG and just couldn’t. Thank you so much for this excellent review. I need one for commuting to school
Hard to believe you’re the first person to comment on that odd test blend 😅 you got me there!
Thank you for your comment!
It was also really stupid to point out the Ninja’s upper lid was splattered and then say the Nutripod’s wasn’t because the Nutripod doesn’t have one…
You also said you’d assess how easy they are to clean but then didn’t - did you just forget or did you omit that because you found the Ninja easier?
Both clearly have their pros and cons as well questionable design choices, but if you’re going to review stuff you need to put your biases aside, which you’re clearly aware of considering you went into a rant at the end to deflect any potential criticism.
If people think my reviews suck, they shouldn’t watch them. I’m not making any money at this so that’s why I’m not putting in the effort that you would like to see. Unfortunately, the effort level you would like to see I would have to have an affiliate link and I would have to make money from this video, but then I would have a bias towards whatever blender made me the most money…
So take this review for what it’s worth and if you think it’s worthless good no problem.
Lovely review mate ❤❤
Thank you!
Why does it suck to drink with the base on it? And why even take off the base when you wash it? just blend water (maybe a drop of soap)
@@shorthash You must! I am getting old. Where'd you find your blendjet i've never seen that one and want to try it. Thanks!
Ben at my job for ten years and this was the first time I made a mess I could not clean.
thank you for your comment
You Ben on your job for ten years…please tell me you are not a school teacher
Ben is your school teacher? Great.
They both ripped off Blendjet, which has a smaller base that you don't need to remove at all
Damn, i didn't know that! Blendjet sounds like the one to get. Where do they sell them? Still looking for a better one to try. Thanks
Skipping!?
Why not?

I was just about to buy the ninja, but I think you've swayed me...😅
the base issue makes the ninja a pain in the butt to use, I hope you find something better for less money. Thank you for your comment!
Just purchase one before I watched your review. It does have a base cover so you can drink from the cup alone and also have a blade protection cover as well. Currently charging the product. 13/10/24
Yeah the new ones come with a base cover. They still suck tho
Is this a real comment from a real person?
@@TheLastHonestInfluencer Why would it seem like a fake person. Does my opinion not make sense.
It definitely makes sense and it's very well written. Thank you for your reply and for sharing your opinion. I get hundreds of fake comments when I post ninja review videos from accounts that never reply so please forgive my suspicion. Thanks again and have a great day!
@@TheLastHonestInfluencer understood. I like that you seem unbiased, and you are right because there are people who seem to practically be paid spokespersons for ninja and other companies and won't point to anything negative. Enjoy the rest of your day.

I love my Ninja blast portable blender. It fits my travelling lifestyle & does what it's supposed to do. I have extended warranty so I'll take it back if it starts misbehaving.
How much was the extended warranty? Did you get it from Ninja or is it like the Walmart protection plan thing?
Ninja blended better has sip lid you can always pour into a go cup or holder. It blended better other was weaker.
Good you should buy it
Is that a *beanstalk* growing up the window?!
My landlord grows plants in this household. They are basically like his children. Except one day he will eat them, raw, and possibly while they are still alive.
Great review. Nutrabullet go it is
Thank you!
they might have upgraded the ninja blast because i got mine today and it comes with a lid so u can remove the base and use it as portable cup and it comes with a lid to twist onto the blades for when u dont have the base on
That’s a sweet upgrade. Much better!
it's a 48€ fro me, i would not buy it for 80€ for sure, also i had a cup to put on the bottom which makes it possible to take if off and take it away without the bottom.
The only drawback of the ninja is you need to drink with the base
That is a bummer. Apparently some people are saying they have a new version out that has a screw-on bottom base. Hard to know tho, because apparently the box and name are the same. Would change my opinion of this thing if you didn't have to drink with the base attached.
Thanks for your comment
Yeah but it's not an issue to me. To each is own . I love the ninja. I bought the bullet for my dad.
I’m a ninja fanatic and I love ninja products, specifically the on to go blenders . Ninja has been in my family for decades and will keep on buying them.
What an odd thing for a real person to say
The fact you can’t take it off the base sucks
Agreed. Major design flaw.
@@TheLastHonestInfluencer exactly all the other ones you can
odd i have several ninja products and they have all performed great to this day, and i don't plan on jumping and skipping with my blender on my waist nor do i mind drinking from the blender. after all its a portable blender. I can put it in my backpack that i carry practically everyday and put it in there when i'm done. I've jad only 1 ninja bullet and I gave it away. it just wasn't for my liking compared to my ninja blender so i'll be purchasing the portable ninja.
