You sir are a lifesaver. I've been fighting with the starter for 2 days and now that I figured it out and I got it all in and changed it still wouldn't start and after your video I'm driving
I've got a 2004. So far we have a new battery and starter, but will crank when it wants to. I hear a faint click in the fuse box that you pointed out, but haven't checked it yet. Taking a break before I put a bullet between the headlights! I've also noticed that the indicator for the transmission isn't right. It stops at neutral. It's in park, because you can feel it shift through R,N,D,2 & 1. I might add we have about 6K miles before hitting 400K, so I'm not moaning about the car, just hoping not to spend money on it.
I’m having the same problem. I bought a new battery the truck started. 24 hours later I get ready to go to work and no start. No click no sound no lights.
I was having this same issue, I did the same as you did but after a while the truck turned off on me again, what do I have to replace here for this fix to be permanent? Any help or comments will be highly appropriated
I have about 400,000 miles on a 2004. Have replaced everything battery, starter and such, but still won't even click. Then out of the blue it will crank like brand new. Any suggestions? Wife says if she slams door it will some times crank. Evil spirits in wiring???
Look at the starter, battery, solenoid, ignition, and wires that are cut, and quick fix them electrical tape and super glue. WHAT YOU NEED TO FIX : 1) electrical tape 2) super glue if you want to to repair any broken or cut wires 3) all new wires and gauge size reader to replace 4) metal contacts for connectors 5) new ignition, starter, solenoid, wires and contacts, fuses also.
Thank u so much. I just graduated and got my amateur video recording and design certificate. It took 9 months but I did it. All because of you. Thank you.
Can’t believe it, you are absolutely correct. Thanks for sharing this information
Your camera work is impeccable
