How well articulated, best part about all these pointers shared is they are pragmatic and win-win situation as we will learn how to handle the situations in not just work life but elsewhere and grow emotionally. And the last point is absolutely right - it's not about the toxic people getting up each day with an intention to spoil other person's life. They come with baggage, and that itself is their curse sadly. Alas we can just empathise and be good to them, not a tit for tat act basically, and sometimes that does become source for their change in any small way be it!

My manager was very toxic in my first company, he used to take away credit of our work. he even used to blame girls that they compromise with him for promotions. Very bad experience... Too bad, but helped me to rise later. He taught me what not to do. Today I am myself a lead, and know exactly how people feel.
I am a kid and my opinions change every moment ... I always try not to take action against what i feel toxic ...i was completely relating all the time as I was ragged at my college today...just got some support ...thankyou sir
In all your videos you have been advising not to talk about another employee or employer who is toxic.. this is so interesting to me becoz we were raised in a school of thought which said - if you share your problem with others you will feel light. However, at work we cannot do this and I learnt it very hard way. Few of my colleagues couldn’t tolerate my boss but yet were quiet about it or moved to another company. However, I spoke to these few colleagues openly as though it was going to be a secret. Finally the message reached my boss somehow and I felt sick becoz that wasn’t my intention but I was just venting out. I wish I hadn’t done it but towards the end I was like the bad person even though my boss was toxic one!!!
I have experienced such toxic people in my previous organization. I could barely survive for a year there. The manager and the lead were sadistic and in a span of one year, my whole team of 10 resigned to escape such toxic people. I sometimes really wonder how someone can be so so toxic :/ but like you said, there could be some experiences and/or people that might have resulted to such toxic nature of a person.
@@warikoo Regarding last point, I have to say people are born with their unique nature/mentality. That's why you see some children enjoy bullying weaker children. Their habits get even stronger as they grow big, if they are not punished. Yes. Some people do have criminal minds .
Loved this video Ankur. I have been lucky to have been in a toxic working relation only once in 8 years. I realize now, empathizing really helped, to understand where the person was coming from. I did also raise my concerns to him personally and other leaders, managed to get out of the project in less than 2 months. But empathizing actually helped to move on from the drama and the mental stress, and bringing back my own confidence again for next projects.
I really would like to appreciate for your content. Secondly can you please make a video on how to reduce over thinking and keep ourselves mentally healthy
