Hi all! On the branch of strange cases this week's video is quite different to my usual, partly to give us a refresher from traditional true crime - We're back to the usual next week! I’m very curious to know what you thought of this week's oddball case... important to try new waters every once in a while.

"Never aim a gun at anything you don't plan to destroy", one of the cardinal rules of gun safety. Another is always assume that the gun is loaded, ALWAYS.
Brandon Lee learned this the hard way. Guns are still deadly even without bullets if you pull the trigger.

SNOW'S TRIAL UPDATE: 5 Years community supervision, 100 hrs of community service, a fine, regular probation visits, she can't own a gun, and she can't leave the county without permission. Aka she walked and isn't getting ANY prison time.

That is completely unacceptable and an absolute travesty of justice!!! I got 4 years suspended license, 1000 hours community service, 200 hours trash pickup along the interstate, monthly supervised probation for 4 years, 40 hours of driving education classes, $25,000 in fines and court costs and 1 year of having a breath lock mechanism installed in my vehicle after getting my 2nd DWI and you telling me that this vile, disgusting human being with NO REMORSE whatsoever toward the deceased only got 5 years of probation?? She should have been sent to prison for manslaughter for at least 10 years if not life.... Wow! This country is as corrupt as they come I tell you what..... People are in Nevada prisons still incarcerated since the 1970s for possession of weed but this waste of space doesn't even have to go to jail for murder??? I guess it is easy to avoid prison if you shoot someone in the head then make tik tok videos making fun of the situation because of all the money you make from the videos you upload.. We let people off with all sorts of things, but we always think the US has much stronger penalties, and Texas being one of the harsher states, which DOES ACUTALLY execute folks - not just give it, then NOT carry it out, like the other states. I think they are now going soft, as well.

Saying that Snow is reckless is an understatement to end all understatements. But making cosplay videos about death and hiding bodies was the worst thing they could've done in this scenario.
Sounds like a severe lack of empathetic and sympathetic judgement like many psychopaths or sociopaths.
Makes me think this kind of horrible act would have happened eventually with her, sadly.

"Thinking the gun was unloaded" doesn't make it an accident. Every gun is always loaded until you personally check it. Not knowing how to do this doesn't make it an accident either. These rules are redundant and have no exceptions for a reason. There are no gun accidents, only negligence.

I actually live in Houston and met "Yandere Freak" at an anime shop years before this had happened. She'd actually gotten in trouble for attempted shop lifting and got really freaked out at the associate when she was caught. When I read about this, I was really shocked about the whole thing. When I met her, she seemed really "odd" (aside from the shoplifting) and that's a lot coming from me.
I mean, they literally called themself “Yandere Freak”. I think calling someone like that odd is an understatement.
Really? I met her once at a con, and she didn't seem too out of the ordinary. She was a bit standoffish, but outside of that, she seemed normal. After hearing about this case and your encounter, I wonder if I just... caught her in a good mood or something.
The fact she identified so much with Junko Enoshima is enough to run chills down my spine.

Also, this behavior is more than likely to have been caused by an unstable home/school life or biological factors. There are many signs that an individual may develop sociopathic/psychopathic tendencies and/or behavior when they grow up. If people chose to ignore these signs then that’s on them. The ex boyfriend shouldn’t have left the gun, if he were a responsible gun owner he’d know that was a stupid decision. If the ex boyfriend knew about Snow’s drinking/smoking habits then he wouldn’t have left a weapon that was still loaded regardless if the magazine was taken out or not. Snow should not have been double dipping because alcohol and drugs should NOT be mixed. Snow is at fault here, NOT a video game.

I want to give a massive shout out to Jimmy Mrozinski for seeing what she did and getting involved. Not only for calling her out and saying no permission was given to do this, but also threatening to press charges if she even comes near the cemetery again. Shows he takes his job seriously and cares for the deceased, way more than she did.
At the height of my involvement in the goth scene, taking videos or photos in a cemetery has always been a tempting activity. I did not have the vanity to do so, and as I got older the foolishness of such an act grew in my mind. In the end I did not miss out on anything from not doing it.
@@meligoth Still even taking pics in a cemetery is very different than dancing on the graves. Permission obviously should be sought, & the cemetery could even come up with some compromise or conditions that theyd find acceptable. This girl didnt even care when she murdered her friend & joked around about loving blood & hiding bodies. They are likely a sociopath with little to no empathy, only caring about themself. I'm sure she probably thought, "Well I wont let this ruin my career" or something along those lines. She was in denial because her career in regards to yandere type stuff was most certainly over after that. Nobody would want anything to do with it & shed just get flamed relentlessly. When I went shooting for the first time my buddy who was ex-military told me a phrase that's stuck with me for years; "Keep your booger hook off the bang switch until you're ready to rain some hate." Truly amazing.
I had two friends I'll call them Bill and Ben in my last job. Bill grew up on a farm and was big into hunting. One day Bill invited us to his family's farm to try shooting wood pigeons. Before we even got to see the gun Bill went through all the safety rules and really stressed that we were to walk behind the person with the gun, the person with the gun was to keep it pointed at the ground till you're ready to shoot, don't point it at anything you don't want to kill, the safety comes off as you lift the gun and your finger stays off the trigger till you're ready to shoot. Bill then showed us how the gun worked, how to check it was safe and then had us watch him shoot a couple of pigeons. He then let Ben have gun, but reiterated all the safety rules first. Ben took 3 steps in that time he took the safety off put his finger on the trigger, tripped and blew a hole in the ground to my left, I was luck the stupid bastard didn't blow my toes off of spray me with buckshot. Bill tore him a new one and made him go sit in the car for the rest of the afternoon.

In not so many words, nor the same phrases, I have taught my children this. Even though we don't have guns in the house, nor handle others, other than airport guns.
What makes this worse is that she clearly showed absolutely no remorse. If I accidentally ended up shooting and killing my best friend then I don't think I'd want to live knowing I had caused the death of someone, especially someone close to me. I most certainly wouldn't be posting cosplay videos even if cosplay helped me cope, let alone make the subject about murder or death. What a terrible person.
The four fundamentals of handling a firearm should be taught more often. They're very easy to understand:
1. Treat every gun as if it's loaded
2. Never point the muzzle at anything you don't intend to destroy
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to fire
4. Be aware of your target and what's behind it
And it's an unwritten rule that you never EVER handle a firearm while inebriated in any way. I smoke weed every day, but I won't touch it if I know I'm going to the range.
i was taught these rules as a child when playing with nerf guns. it boggles my mind that these things arent universally known. it could save a life.

yes! there are a couple of guns in my house and i do have to handle them sometimes, and even when they're completely unloaded, chamber cleared, i still treat it as if it's loaded, keep my finger off the trigger, and point it strategically to avoid damage or worse, just in case. guns do not care what your intentions are and so you need to remain diligent and aware of what you are doing and what's going on around you when you're handling guns at every second. definitely don't pull them out when you're drunk...
beyond snow i think their boyfriend and possibly their parents also bear some responsibility for this happening. the boyfriend is stupid because leaving your gun somewhere like that is already negligent. leaving it with someone known to be reckless and regularly drunk is negligent. leaving it with someone who does not know even the basics of gun safety is negligent. i wish that gun hadn't been in their house that night...
@@lionguy4107 Same. I wasn't allowed to get an airsoft gun until I was 13. I was taught to treat that airsoft pistol as if it were a loaded 9mm. Always had it on safety, never pointed it at people, even as a joke. My grandfather taught me how to aim with it. I thought this stuff was taught to everyone until I showed my friends the airsoft pistol and most of them didn't seem to give a shit about safety. Obviously it's not gonna kill anyone, but it can still BLIND people. That's a good enough reason to treat it like the real thing.
Helen was a very close friend of mine when we were younger. When this happened, I was stunned. Their story got little to no coverage at all when it happened, so to see you bringing it to light while respecting them and speaking so highly of the person they used to be means a lot.

@@Eid0lon The problem is that it's a glock pistol, and they are known for having sensitive triggers compared to other similar caliber pistols, and not having safety switches. It's possible that she didn't even realize she pulled the trigger until she heard the bang.
I'm considering that the events reported at the 'party' were compiled from statements taken from all witnesses present, it doesn't sound like it was intentional.
Most people instinctually put their finger inside the ring of a pistol when they hold it. You are taught in any gun licensing course that is unsafe and stupid behavior unless you intend to shoot. The whole thing just reeks of someone with no formal training wielding a gun.

Raising a real gun to someone’s head and pulling the trigger is a mistake? Regardless if you think it’s unloaded or not, you should NEVER raise a gun to someone’s head and pull the trigger. Gun’s aren’t toys. You should always treat every gun like it’s loaded.
The mistake is harm. They never intended to harm Helen. But yes, it was really really stupid of them to put a gun to someone's head and pull the trigger even if they thought it was unloaded. They deserve every year they get in sentencing.

I know everyone is saying that Snow's username being "Yandere Freak" was a red flag, and yeah it is, but another red flag was something I noticed in this screenshot at 7:08
Yes, I understand that their cosplay of that specific character got the most popularity on both Tiktok and Instagram, but imo, calling yourself the real life Junko Enoshima is just as much of a red flag as having yandere in your username. For anyone who knows her and Danganronpa as a whole understands why
ETA: there's also the fact they sexualized child characters, posed in graveyards and romanticized characters like Junko like how the toxic side of true crime romanticized Ted Bundy and the Columbine Shooters
(nothing wrong with liking characters who did bad things as long as you don't agree with their actions, I like villain/antagonists too, but it's why I had to make the comparison to THAT side of true crime to get my point across somehow)
As somebody who cosplayed as Junko, it is really important to distinguish real life from anime. In fact, we shouldn’t try to be someone else, specially people with psychotic and homicidal traits.
As a female anime NERD, a gigantic red flag is when someone markets themselves as Yandere, thinks yandere characters are romantic or relateable, or exclusively cosplays yandere and antagonistic female characters. She’s almost certainly NOT kidding, and if she is she’s at least insufferable to be around.

I understand exploring the yandere label as an alternative ego online or in cosplay. But saying you're literally a yandere is disturbing.
While snow is not a good person, liking yandere characters has nothing to do with being a bad person. I love the yandere trope and more antagonist and psych characters for a number of reasons. They are also the type of people I cosplay most often. Doesn’t mean I’m gonna kill someone😐
I do find something so fascinating about it when content creators do something like this... The fact you could've been following them and never knowing what's going on behind the screen ..

Also it's fascinating to me that a lot of people who are really good at creating an image of themselves on social media often turn out to be really toxic narcissists. I guess it perfectly makes sense, because that's exactly what narcissists care about.

As someone who used to know Snow this story horrifies me. I'm a Houston cosplayer, nowhere near as popular as Snow but we've been mutuals since 2017, I was in multiple of their panels and at one point we left a con to get Boba together and shared an uber. I distanced myself from them after the grave incident and I'm glad I did, the local community has known for a long time they weren't a good person(With their history of drama and incidents) but it baffles me how far this went. It's crazy to think of all the times I was with them...
Yeah - I’m not local to Houston but I was friends with multiple people who were mutuals and met up with her at cons. most of them dropped ties with her after the graveyard pictures happened, obvs, but got it’s weird to hear her name again in this context

I used to know snow as well. They are one of the reasons i left the houston cosplay community. Snow and Robin would bully me relentlessly because i spoke up about a pedo they were friends with who is also popular in the houston community

It always blows my mind seeing this, they were supposed to be part of our Danganronpa Cosplay group at Katsucon several years back, I remember there being a bit of drama in our group chat and our cosplay organizer decided kicked them from our group
I actually went to highschool with Snow and lived just a few streets down from them. Went to their house, met their parents and sibling. I can't say much about their stepdad, but snow's mom was incredibly enabling of them, always bailing them out of bad situations even when it was undeniably Snow's fault. I was into anime during highschool so Snow and I connected and became friends. Over the course of a month they started bullying me and several others in our group of friends through manipulation and gaslighting. It escalated to the point where they told me to kill myself, something they claim that they would "never do", then tried to backpedal by calling the police to my house even though I wasn't home. This happened back in 2016. Although most of my highschool friendships have drifted apart, we are still united by how much we hate, and fear, Snow.

You should talk to the Police about it, I saw a few streams and I remember the drama stuff and she never seemed like a good person to me. I kinda doubt it was an accident but who knows...
In her videos, she comes off as someone who wants attention and to be well liked when in actuality she herself was the bully. That alone show's that she's not a good person.
There's definitely some friendly, very balanced cosplayers. There's also definitely those who go to any avenue to garner attention or use anyone who can help them gain status in the community.

@@bexproctor360 People grieve differently. After my mom died, like the same day, I was making jokes about it. At the funeral. You see no remorse, I see coping. Two stupid kids playing with guns drunk and high, one says "Do me" the other "does her". She's fucked for life either way. Living in Houston, we have enough problems with actual violent criminals who we need the space for. Tragic case here, but she's a far cry from a violent criminal. An attention seeking idiot? Yes, most definitely.
At first, with her making videos centered around blood and morbid topics, I was sort of thinking Snow was just processing trauma really poorly. As this video went on, though, it became clear she was experiencing no remorse and is thus an actual sociopath.

I actually was a big part of the cosplay community around the time all of snows controversy happen. I had connections to them and even had personal experiences with them. They deserve to be behind bars for longer than life. Helen was a shining member in the community who is still missed to this day. She was kindhearted and was a genuine sweetheart to me when we did interact with each other. If we cant fight for gun control fight for gun safety education classes in school. I’m a cosplayer and remember when the graveyard photoshoot was all going down years ago, the kitten thing, a $300 wig controversy, and then a few months ago when the manslaughter charges came out. Snow just never really had a good rep. You did a great job with this story, and I really am glad you talked about Helen- I didn’t know much about them before this video.

Tbh I have experienced a lot of death and losses in my life and obviously will experience more. I know first hand that everyone has different coping mechanisms when it comes to dealing with tragedy and death. Yes it is an odd way to deal with it but it may just be her way of coping. Don't get me wrong I am not on her side, just saying facts. Also I know this doesn't excuse anything being very young like that and if genuinely thought the gun was empty then, she would obviously think it was safe to pull the trigger. Not at all difficult to understand, let's be honest. But gun should never have been so easily accessible. But from my experience, I lost my best friend of 12 years, it had been 6 years now and for the first 3 years I was horrible to everyone I come across online or in real world. Taken me a while to realise why I was doing it, it was just automatic for me as I was just not happy my friend is gone. People cope with things in different ways..so maybe for her to act like nothing happened and treat it like fiction and make videos about death was probably a coping mechanism.

With a name like "Yandere Freak", I was expecting a story like the one from Japan that you covered. At least with this story, the message is simple: Don't use weaponry while intoxicated and never assume that a gun isn't loaded. Even if you know that it isn't and have checked 1000 times, you should still treat it like it can bring harm or death to another.

there's actually a lot of rumors going around of her being involved in the deaths of others just a couple years prior, I was helping out with uncovering her past (she got way more accounts and names that she goes by). a really scary case when u keep in mind that she is connected to other crimes and still continued making those type of tiktoks/using the name real yandere. you did a great job on reporting on this ongoing case and I love how thoughtful you explained cosplay/anime culture!

As a gun owner, You NEVER point a gun at ANYTHING unless you are willing to destroy it. This means keeping the safety on, finger inoff the trigger, and not pointing it around. I consider my guns no different than my power tools in my workshop. You follow the tools because they didn't RESPECT the tools ability to cause harm under certain situations. That's where I see the problem with this case. these women show ZERO RESPECT FOR ANYTHING (like dancing on graves). These are the kinds of idiots that should be near a gun, knife, or a Tide Pod. Basically anything. It's not lack of education or access to proper gun training that would have prevented this. It's lack of respect for anything and not thinking at all. This is the same attitude you see on TikTok where some idiot goes car surfing or parkouring off a large building that is out of their league...all for views and ego. Bit of an unpopular opinion, but I believe that some sort of gun safety lessons should be mandatory. Even if you have no intention of owning or using one (completely your choice, guns are never something you force into the hands of someone), knowing how to safely handle one could help prevent accidents like these

One of the first rules of gun safety is it's always loaded. Even if you just took it apart and know it's empty. It's loaded.
No its perfectly sane, because an unloaded gun breeds an air of complicity, you assume the guns unloaded so you treat it like a toy, and THATS what makes it more dangerous, not the gun itself, its the lack of concern by the user when they BELIEVE its unloaded. This is why gun safety teaches to treat an unloaded firearm as tho it were loaded because you NEVER know unless you check wether thats true or not and becoming complacent with firearms to the point you can direct them towards people 'jokingly' is even more dangerous because it betrays a lack of respect for the destructive capability of the weapon in question and anyone caught doing that should have their firearms license revoked immediately because they clearly have no respect for the power they wield.

If I took apart a gun, especially in an environment where I am not alone - someone could have just as easily put a loaded mag or a round in for god knows what and now I'm coming back to a loaded gun. its only ever happened once and my paranoid must-check-if-its-loaded tendency found said round. Honestly, I have a very do not touch my guns attitude as it is, but especially not at my house. Best way to avoid mistakes? Check if its loaded, every time, but even better? Don't let people touch your guns to begin with unless you're at the range. They say people who build guns are a lot less fun to be around, and its true, because we're far more experienced with the third party element. most accidents could be avoided altogether if people would just learn how to properly handle a firearm. So many people out there have no idea.

I knew both Snow and Helen when I was into cosplay a few years back. Both were always very kind to me and seemed very genuine. Unfortunately, Snow would always display such awful and toxic behavior towards fellow cosplayers, especially smaller ones like me, so I stopped being mutuals with them, but remained friends with Helen.
I eventually stopped cosplaying, and lost contact with both Helen and Snow. When the charges surfaced earlier this year, I couldn't believe it. Never did I believe that Snow, despite their awful behavior, was capable of such heinousness. It's insane, and though I wasn't close with Helen towards the end, it's still absolutely devastating that this occured. Thank you for giving this story coverage; it's an important lesson in safety and the dangers of carelessness.

Id never heard or seen one good thing about Snow. They always seemed obnoxious and stuck up through videos and ofc this sort of thing is horrible but unsurprising. May they get the maximum sentence, its what they deserve.
I see how it can be viewed as an accident, but Snow's history and type of content makes me wonder if they had an itch to pull that trigger. Obviously it's not 100% certain either way, but in more than one case I've seen/read about, there's people who are overcome with a desire to see what killing someone feels like.
Whether the sentence is maximum or not, I really hope it includes probation of the internet in some way. People like Snow who feed off negative attention and lack respect/sympathy are exactly the type of people who do not deserve platforms.

Unfortunately the gun owners responsibility is not considered. If the gun owner was responsible then the gun would have had either a trigger lock, a chamber lock , a gun safe or all three. Any one of these simple inexpensive things could keep countless accidental shootings. We may have the right to bare arms but rights come with responsibility.
I agree on some points, but the change in content could very easily be due to traumatization, which may cause a person suffering from it to create content relating to it. There are generally two reasons for this behavior, generally speaking, if that is indeed the case:
Firstly, it's their mind's way of trying to cope. This may be done by taking the subject lightly, such as making fun of it, recreating similar situations to re-live through the traumatizing situation but ending with no one being hurt, to try to trick oneself into believing that it had happened the way it was recreated, to escape the feelings of guilt (among many others, such as self-hatred). The second situation that commonly may occur would simply be the person being so desperate to cry out for help, that they do similar things that are the cause of their distress, partially subconciously (without the person really realizing why they're doing it themselves, at least not entirely). So in both purely hypothetical situations, it could well be a normal psychological response due to grief and guilt, and so on.
Note - I am not a medical professional in any way, shape, or form. I'm merely offering a personal insight based off of speculation. Also - I am not saying that she's not in the wrong by any stretch, nor am I saying that she's 100% at fault, either. My only reason to post this reply is to hopefully spread awareness of how our minds work (in some cases) to cope with what I'd imagine to be unrelenting guilt and basically the whole world being against her. Imagine putting yourself in that person's shoes for a moment. It's absolutely terrifying, just the thought that many people on the internet would try to harrass you and possibly even target you for more nefarious plots... They know your face, your basic info, and could probably piece together where the person lives from past videos, social media, and so forth. Yeah, I'll pass on that, but I'll also try not to do something so foolish. (Yes, she was on drugs, we ALL have that one dumbass moment that we can recall - be honest! ;] )
P.S. - The media attention that this would get will always try to paint someone as the victim, and another group/person as pure evil. Let's keep this in mind, as boring accidental stories don't sell as many copies as a novelty cold blooded killer case. :(

IF this happened in the UK, The gun owner would be responsible criminally. We have to, by law, keep our firearms under lock and key at all times, even to the point where the gun and ammo have to be stored seperately in their own gun safes, in rooms not immediately accessible by visitors to the house. If that were my gun she got hold of and I'd left it out, I'd be facing up to 15 years. Something no one seems to be commenting on. Shouldnt the ex be culpable to some degree?
@@GrumpyMunkyGameDesign I m not personally a gun owner so I am not an expert on the laws here. I think to a degree it may vary by state. I have never read where a gun owner was held accountable for anything done with their weapon by another.

As for keeping them locked up thats not a requirement in most states. We believe in personal responsibility and freedom. Now in the gun community we do have set safety standards most of us abide by such as locking up our firearms when not in use aside from our home defense firearms.

Honestly, this is such a sad case, I'd already known some about it. That Snow killed their friend by shooting her in the head (I'd heard very little on the subject). But what I didn't know was that Helen didn't die immediently after being shot. Can't begin to imagine how terrified she was. I hope she rests peacefully,

Agreed. You'd think gun safety would be common sense, but I guess not. I'm always amazed when I hear stories where a gun that was thought to be "unloaded" ends up causing a death. NEVER assume a gun is unloaded and NEVER point a gun at a person you do not intend to shoot, EVER. DO NOT casually play with guns.

Even if you don't know specifics, you would think survival mechanisms would stop more people. You don't have to know how it works to know that, "This can kill me" or "I could hurt or kill someone" I think it often comes down to people not ever thinking of the consequences. Especially with younger people who assume things wont happen to them. We might be older now but we were young once and all the bad things that could happen were a million miles away back then.

There is a case I’d love for you to cover and shed a light on it that happened very recently and hit very VERY close to home. A girl I didn’t personally know but she went to my high school and I’ve seen her in person. Miya marcano, a 19 year old girl who’s life was taken miles away from her family on her way through success. Studying in Orlando, she was living alone and was constantly harassed by an older guy who she wasn’t interested in, the man who works at the apartment building she lives in, got the master key to get into her room, and do god knows what… this case hurt Miami, Broward, my high school and schools all around Florida. My school honored her by planting a tree in her name, releasing a bunch of butterflies which is what she was known to dress as for the Carnivals and money that was raised was put into a foundation in her name. Please coffee house, cover this story. Spread light and help protect our young girls going to college

I'm not familiar with the case, but it may be too soon. If it happened pretty recently, not all the facts may be out yet and it could be difficult to sift through all the conflicting information, or to even gather enough information for a video. Plus, it could be disrespectful to her family and friends to make what is essentially an entertainment video about such a recent tragedy. I know I'd be mad if my close friend died and people were profiting off the death only a year or two later.
I just looked, and this only happened a couple months ago. Let the poor girl rest, and let her loved ones grieve. Jeez, I know it's near you and you want some connection to it, but that's definitely too soon, and there wouldn't be nearly enough info to discuss. Talk about poor taste.

As a cosplayer, I'm happy to see them FINALLY get exposed by mainstream media! The most basic rule when handling a firearm is ALWAYS treat your firearm as if it were loaded, even when it’s not! AND NEVER POINT A GUN AT ANOTHER PERSON. But I guess those rules don’t apply when you are high and drunk!
I hope Helen's soul is resting easy. My heart goes out to her mother, family, and friends. Helen didn't deserve to die, let alone be hurt at all, yet Snow not taking proper safety precautions (such as not pointing a gun at someone) led to her suffering the consequences of Snow's actions.
I hope Snow gets seriously punished for this one day soon.

@@jmcdrawer5031 there are many instances in the English language in which They is used as a singular pronoun. Furthermore, language is ever evolving and words take on new meanings and usage. Even if They was not already used in the singular form, there is no reason to poluce it's use in such a way. Many online resources have already adjusted the teaching of English Singular pronouns to include They along with a disclaimer that it is gender neutral or gender inclusive.

The cosplay community is incredibly toxic. The mix with social media and trying to be “cos-famous” just allows for horrible narcissistic personality to thrive. Which just leads to horrible things from assault, cyber bullying, harassment, and other horrible things

From what I've been reading and seeing, the safety protocols were not followed down the chain as they should have been. Also, the props person had a reputation for problems. Alec Baldwin is responsible, but so is everyone who handled that firearm before it was handed to an actor. I don't care if ten people say, "oh, it's not loaded", I still check for myself. Plus, at this point, as more information comes out, I'm not so certain we can say that it was an accident.
But even if it was just an accident, it was still Baldwin's responsibility. Yeah, the armorer did a terrible job as an armorer. She was very reckless when it comes to safety and probably should have never been hired as an armorer. But at the end of the day, it was Baldwin who willingly pulled the trigger.

The videos are set up like that because Snow is cosplaying as a yandere. The characters they portray are girls who aren't mentally stable, who kill and harm others for and because of love. They'll kill the one they love in order to keep them to themselves, but they'll also kill anybody who goes against them or the person they love.
Some of them also cut/kill the one they love because they find them more attractive like that, because it's their way of loving, and such. "Yanderes" are a very twisted type...
So the fact Snow was all that cheerful talking about death and murders is "normal" regarding the characters they were playing as, and all their videos were probably of the same kind.
It still doesn't make it right, but I also felt it could have been Snow's way to grieve or to maybe reject reality. Although they might just be completely disconnected from reality, so drown into their yandere cosplay universe they don't even understand what's real or not, what's right and wrong anymore.
