She is a stay at home Mum to a 1 yr old daughter and her other kids of 10 and 8 are at school during the day but the idiot has the guts to complain about how my brother hardly cleans up or does house work when HE is the one working full time and all he wants to do is play a video game and relax after work and she complains to me about it. She popped out 3 kids and uses her phone as a babysitter while she watches TV and smokes cigarettes. She had her 3rd kid on purpose and claimed it was an accident, even when my brother said he wasn't financially ready for another one yet. She also tends to over spend on things she can't afford. One in particular warns people of signs and symptoms of narcissism so that people don't fall victim to them. Any of them would tell you, though, that most narcissists won't seek help, because they don't think something is wrong with them. Many are forced to get help from a court order or other legal reasons. So yes, it's treatable, but very hard to given the nature of the problem.

She didn't have to work and doesn't seem like she really wanted to do much besides sit in the house and not do anything. All she had to do was care for the kids and she couldn't even do that. She could have killed the children dosing them. Ernie didn't deserve any of what happened to him. Samantha could have just left. Those children lost both parents.

First off, this monster goes on and on about how she hates stupid people while being one of the stupidest. Also, I suffer from chronic insomnia and take Ambien every night, along with other medication. That she would give this very powerful drug to her children is just another indicator of what a true monster she is. I hope she spends the rest of her life in prison and that every single one of those days are miserable. My heart goes out to Ernie's family. I can't imagine their pain.
I used Ambien for awhile in the early through mid-90s while at university due to my long time sleep disorders that began around age 16 (now I just settle for sleeping every other day, it’s easier/safer) but I ran into one of its severe side effects well before such was listed as a known side effect. Ambien, if used more than once or twice in a week, would eventually severely impair both my short term memory as well as my cognitive processing as I would get to a point where I could barely read a children’s picture book because my short term memory would degrade so far that I could only hold onto 3 or 4 words at a time, so any sentence much longer than that was something I could make absolutely no sense out of as I would only know they very beginning, the middle, or the end, but I could never process the full sentence to understand what it actually meant. I could know that there was a “Jack and Jill”, or I could know that someone “ran up a hill”, or that there was an intent “to fetch a pail of water”, but I could only ever have those individual pieces of that nursery rhyme and never all of them at once to make any sense of what was being communicated. My IQ is around 140 and I literally had to drop out of university because I could not even comprehend a child’s picture book, talk about infuriating! It similarly affected other aspects of short term memory as well and I have entire semesters at university that I have little to no memory of (and, no, I did not drink alcohol and no illicit drugs were consumed as I wasn’t into such!). I haven’t used Ambien in nearly 25 years despite my sleep disorders (insomnia due to severe delayed sleep phase syndrome that progressed to Non-24hr sleep wake syndrome). Sadly it took several years to understand that the memory loss was caused by Ambien since that was not a listed side effect at the time and I had numerous other chronic health issues (e.g. Fibromyalgia, severe chronic pain, etc.) aside from insomnia as well as issues with mental health (like DID, which has its own memory loss issues, C-PTSD, and major depression).

These days it doesn’t apply but it goes way back. The wealthy would have 1 or 2 while the poor would have 7+. Back in the day it made sense because being poor they couldn’t afford medications and things like that. Poor children died more so it made sense to have more. That and the chance of one of them becoming something. These days that doesn’t apply much.

My husband works hard to support our family, and his favorite way to relax is playing video games. I can't fault him for it, even though I don't see the appeal. It's his thing. He's a great father. He helps me with anything he can, and I don't nag him about video games. This case struck a chord for me. I feel so badly for earnest. He did so much for his family.

The fact that she can even have access to any kind of account on the Internet is just as insane as she is. It was clear that she didn't want to be a wife or mother...she could have left the family, or let Ernie leave with the children. Had she gotten away with Ernie's murder, she would have been left alone with 5 children to raise. In order to have the life she wanted...doing YT videos 24/7...killing Ernie was literally the worst thing she could have done. I meant that purely from Samantha's point of view. Obviously, killing Ernie was the worst thing she could have done because it was absolutely monstrous. Many are forced to get help from a court order or other legal reasons.

Ernie seems like he was a really great person. He worked his butt of for her and all of the kids, not just the 3 that were his. She had a really good life. She didn't have to work and doesn't seem like she really wanted to do much besides sit in the house and not do anything. All she had to do was care for the kids and she couldn't even do that. She could have killed the children dosing them. Ernie didn't deserve any of what happened to him. Samantha could have just left. Those children lost both parents.
Nah they lost their one parent that really mattered who was in retrospect both of their parents at the same time. Ernie was their mother and father. Samantha was just some freeloading tag along. A side character.

There is definitely some kind of subculture growing with these social media obsessed people; I can't explain the fine details, but the way this woman speaks mirrors quite a number of people I've come across. This is one of many reasons I don't rush into friendship and/or love. Best to know what kind of person you're dealing with before getting serious. First off, this monster goes on and on about how she hates stupid people while being one of the stupidest. Also, I suffer from chronic insomnia and take Ambien every night, along with other medication. That she would give this very powerful drug to her children is just another indicator of what a true monster she is. I hope she spends the rest of her life in prison and that every single one of those days are miserable. My heart goes out to Ernie's family. I can't imagine their pain.

I used to be on Ambien, until I had a horrible and scary experience with it once. I agree though, I'm surprised it didn't harm those kids!

I used Ambien for awhile in the early through mid-90s while at university due to my long time sleep disorders that began around age 16 (now I just settle for sleeping every other day, it’s easier/safer) but I ran into one of its severe side effects well before such was listed as a known side effect. Ambien, if used more than once or twice in a week, would eventually severely impair both my short term memory as well as my cognitive processing as I would get to a point where I could barely read a children’s picture book because my short term memory would degrade so far that I could only hold onto 3 or 4 words at a time, so any sentence much longer than that was something I could make absolutely no sense out of as I would only know they very beginning, the middle, or the end, but I could never process the full sentence to understand what it actually meant. I could know that there was a “Jack and Jill”, or I could know that someone “ran up a hill”, or that there was an intent “to fetch a pail of water”, but I could only ever have those individual pieces of that nursery rhyme and never all of them at once to make any sense of what was being communicated. My IQ is around 140 and I literally had to drop out of university because I could not even comprehend a child’s picture book, talk about infuriating! It similarly affected other aspects of short term memory as well and I have entire semesters at university that I have little to no memory of (and, no, I did not drink alcohol and no illicit drugs were consumed as I wasn’t into such!). I haven’t used Ambien in nearly 25 years despite my sleep disorders (insomnia due to severe delayed sleep phase syndrome that progressed to Non-24hr sleep wake syndrome). Sadly it took several years to understand that the memory loss was caused by Ambien since that was not a listed side effect at the time and I had numerous other chronic health issues (e.g. Fibromyalgia, severe chronic pain, etc.) aside from insomnia as well as issues with mental health (like DID, which has its own memory loss issues, C-PTSD, and major depression).
Just finished that chapter's video that was uploaded today about this case and now watching this video since I love both of your channels I don't mind hearing it twice in a row.

These days it doesn’t apply but it goes way back. The wealthy would have 1 or 2 while the poor would have 7+. Back in the day it made sense because being poor they couldn’t afford medications and things like that. Poor children died more so it made sense to have more. That and the chance of one of them becoming something. These days that doesn’t apply much.

My husband works hard to support our family, and his favorite way to relax is playing video games. I can't fault him for it, even though I don't see the appeal. It's his thing. He's a great father. He helps me with anything he can, and I don't nag him about video games. This case struck a chord for me. I feel so badly for earnest. He did so much for his family.

It was clear that she didn't want to be a wife or mother...she could have left the family, or let Ernie leave with the children. Had she gotten away with Ernie's murder, she would have been left alone with 5 children to raise.
