Thank you so much for your videos ! Very helpful. Can we have a video on the newest changes on the 3 series that will enter production in august ? (2025 LCI)
Sure, there won't be much changes however. They are going to offer 2 more paint options, red and blue shades. A new steering wheel for M-Sport packaged 3 series, and a update on the OS system going from 8 to 8.5. This new system is smoother and easier to use even though it looks almost the same.
I'm pretty sure you can because you could in the last operating system. You could try going into the gesture control settings and have another command setup such as "pause or mute the media"
Best shortcut is for putting the vehicle into Valet mode. That way you don’t have to turn off the car to get to the option or take forever to navigate within menus when you are handing your BMW off to an attendant.
I'm a new BMW driver of an 2024 x5. Your videos are very helpful for me. I love the hand gestures. On a funny note it made me realize I really do talk with my hands. On several conversations I inadvertently turned up the radio volume
You can for the newest iDrive system which can only be found in the new X1 and X2, but other than that you would have to reset everything unfortunately. I can see them correcting this feature in the future as many would love to rearrange.
For shortcut, i see the top line Screen-off, do not disturb etc, but in other vehicle i see that once you swipe down, the first button is already the shortcut app that you set. Is it depending on which model? Or you can change that in the setting? It will be very helpful if you could help me with it🙏
How do you reach your shortcuts without touching the screen when you’re in CarPlay mode. It looks like it needs to go out of CarPlay first before you can use your gesture by pushing the wheel van down to bottom? (I don’t have hand gesture unfortunately)
Yes you do have to exit carplay since it blocks the dropdown tab. Easiest way I could see myself doing this is pressing home above the idrive controller and then tilting up on the idrive controller to access it.
Great video screenshots and instructions. Previous iDrive 7 kills this functionality when driving with a single button push on 1 of 8 shortcut buttons.

Good videos, but use “easier” instead of “more easy”.
Haha, will do. I've had this habit of saying "More Easier" for the longest time so trying to learn to correct myself =)
He’s doing a great job of showing us more easy ways to impress our BMW experience. Chill out professor
Your channel is great! I've got a 2025 G60 540 on order, and it's great to be able to absorb this type of information in advance.
Awesome, thank you! Congrats on the 540i, I also got a 2025 on the way, the wait is a killer! =)
@@BeamerViewI just got my production number today. At least it’s a reality now hehe.

Mud flaps/ splash guards would be nice for the 2024 x6. Can’t find them except generic.
I haven't seen them around, but OEM parts would be found on ShopBMWs website.
Can you make videos for 2024 or newer BMW X2 please ?!! 🙏🏼
Will do!
Top info - thanks. Can the hand gestures be setup without adding them to the shortcut buttons ie. 8 shortcuts and 2 hand gestures?

100%. I know many that do this too and it's the best way to use valet parking mode for those who valet their vehicles a lot. Good point made!

Yes not the best feature if one talks with their hands a lot. You can disable it if you find it annoying which is good.
Great video! Is there a way to rearrange (change the order) of the shortcuts once they are set up? Thanks.

Can you please make a video about the useful features we can use when driving in snow 😊

I’m not a fan of the laptop look dash.
Takes some time getting use to.
Thank you
Thanks for watching!
