At some point I started to feel a buzzing, tingling, energy flowing through my whole body and this sensation just stayed with me and kept energizing me. I have MS. I've practiced yoga for years to manage my symptoms, but came to yoga nidra only a few months ago after reading about it. That evening I played one of your sleep sessions and in the morning I woke early so I listened to this one and that day I finally felt awake, alert and able to cope with life again after being unwell with Covid! I’m a trainee teacher and all week I’d been feeling exhausted and doubting whether I could cope with standing up in front of a class of teenagers. New to Yoga Nidra, it has been the best meditation for me so far. I have experienced extreme panic attacks and trauma through out my life. Thank you, Ali. Today, I am fasting and found myself heightened and in a keto state, so I did not fall asleep like I did on Monday when I tried to listen to this video. It was actually really great and rewardful. I feel more relaxed and aware of my body, I also feel rested. There is a pressure in my stomach from hunger and salivation though that is normal. I do this monthly to help my body maintain its balance and health. I felt a sense of sadness when you lead the consciousness of the hands though that may be a personal thing I am going through though still interesting. Thank you for your time and efforts they are much appreciated and respected. May you go well and enjoy your day and week(end). Namaste 🙏

Children more easily learn to read when they crawled before learning to walk. Has to do with hand and eye coordination and mental balance. When kids struggle to read, some therapists have them get down on the floor and crawl. There's a cross over of attention, which is supposed to help. When I do yoga nidra, it's like my eyes go to each body part that Ally mentions. With side of the body and opposite side of the brain, a cross over. Maybe a connection? Tell me what you think, k?

Ally, good day to you. I did very much enjoy this yoga nidra practice. Some days the shorter practice is helpful. My favorite breathing exercise you lead was where I allowed that I could breath in through my right palm, traveling up my arm directly into my heart. I pause for a moment then exhale through my left arm and out my palm. The next breath began from the left palm through my arm directly to my heart, pausing then exhaling down my right arm and out of the right palm. This practice felt so grounding and healing to my heart and nervous system. I sometimes us it when I have been triggered by a life event and need to center myself in my heart. Thank you ☺️ 🙏

This was very nice, I noticed doing the breathing out of one nostril at a time is very cool. I’m interested in that knowing more. I like to hear your videos. I find your voice very easy to listen to and follow. I really appreciate what you’re doing. Tough times over the past year.
Thank you for guiding me in a much needed practice! I used to meditate to compensate the lack of sleep during periods of insomnia but I find this practice to be much better for that 🙏
I’m feeling so refreshed and energized following this practice. I really like the alternate nostril breathing and found myself really focusing on it.

Ally, good day to you. I did very much enjoy this yoga nidra practice. Some days the shorter practice is helpful. My favorite breathing exercise you lead was where I allowed that I could breath in through my right palm, traveling up my arm directly into my heart. I pause for a moment then exhale through my left arm and out my palm. The next breath began from the left palm through my arm directly to my heart, pausing then exhaling down my right arm and out of the right palm. This practice felt so grounding and healing to my heart and nervous system. I sometimes us it when I have been triggered by a life event and need to center myself in my heart. Thank you ☺️ 🙏
