2020 has been hell of a ride to all of us around the Globe, Hope our 2021 goes smooth & well, Happy new year 2021 everybody. Hope for a better year to come..
This is awesome. I wanted to make some tacos. Normally I'd use thighs for this. Whole leg Quarters work well to and are always stay tender and super juicy. I love drumsticks with bone in. But they don't seem to give me the texture I am looking for when I want to make proper tacos. But this will create a different result for sure. I just couldn't resist buying the drumsticks because they were only $0.59/lb. Thanks for the video.
@Mister Dude legs are always dry and hard 😂 I’m terrible at legs. Not sure if if the air fryer or baking it or grilling it comes out dry and hard no one will eat it have to make soup with it 😂.
@Mister Dude I usually cook the legs with the thigh and I just always over cook the legs the only way I can cook them right is deep fry and I don’t do that anymore cause too much oil greasy chicken. We stopped grease about a year ago.
Definitely agree with washing the cutting board but what temperature do you have the gas burner on and flip meat every two minutes for how long? Nice video by the way thank you.
Could have tossed the skin onto the pan to add flavor. Chicken fat is tastier than cooking oil. Also the skin could have been grilled separately as a separate item. Grilled chicken skin is very popular in Yakatori restaurants.
I'm showing how little I know about cleaning/cooking drumsticks but you don't cut out those nasty tough white parts? I was (very messily) cutting drumsticks earlier into small pieces and thought you were supposed to clean them out. I assumed they were tendons or something but maybe I'm wrong.
Looks good. I'd definitely suggest not throwing away the skin/bones. Slowly render the fat from the skin to cook the meat in. You'll get better flavor and crispy skin to eat. And use the bones to make a stock.
I love how you placed the cooked meat on the same cutting board that you used to debone it. You saved soap, water, and paper towel by not washing and drying the cutting board at all-very ingenious.
He washed it. There would be seasoning on the cutting board if he hadn't. It takes a wood cutting board a long time to dry. That's why it has the wet look.
Either way it's fresh. Your gut health will take care of you if you take care of it. Chicken doesn't just make you sick that easy. You have to be eating or touching some rank meat if your going to get sick. But yes people do get sick from contamination and if you do it's probably cause your house is gross with fecal matter floating around. Also washing meat covered things splatters the meat everywhere making more of a chance of contamination. Again, your gut health will take care of you if you take care of it.
@@pickledone9698honing rod doesn't sharpen... it hones... also he did it on top of the chicken to ensure all the metal shavings would season the chicken. Lol 😂 there's easier ways to Debone these.
Cutting the bone gives a chance of shattering it & then you can miss a piece of bone shrapnel in the meat. Plus if you attempt it on a family worth of drumsticks you'll end up with a sore hand.
Great separation from the bone my friend! Like buttholes everyone has an opinions and some stink. Here's mine ha, don't prep raw meats on wood. Get a synthetic board in red. Another? If you insist;) when you do that great first lower circulation cut and remove the skin do it after you knock of the bone head SO you can keep pressure on to also pull the tendons out. Great vid my friend
Shouldnt use a knife steel over food, and you should wipe your blade down after using one. Seriously do it and look at all the metal shavings on your cloth or paper towel or whatever medium you use.

Very happy you love our dish. 🤗

Looks delicious. I like the way you cook.
thank you
He left a part of the bone. I use scissors and it is so much easier. I also keep the skin attached as I often fry these.
Super helpful video, thank you for taking the time to make it and share witg us ❤🎉

Well, chicken drumsticks never go wrong.
Love your idea, will try
Please do!
where do you think those metal shavings are going when you hone directly overtop your food, chief?
⛄⛄⛄ Hi, tolles Video 👌👍🔔wünsche dir und deiner Familie eine schöne besinnliche Weihnachtszeit . Liebe Grüß Siggi 🌲🌲🌲"
Thank you 🙏 I hate how dry and hard drum sticks are and never would have ever thought of this idea 💡 in all the years I’ve cooked 😂😂
Enjoy

@Mister Dude Oh thank you 🙏😂I think that’s what I’m doing wrong. Over cooked
Looks good !!! Nice video !! 🤤
Thank you 😋

Medium Heat, thank you. Will improve slowly.
wow
This is so good i hate eating meat on bones. But drumsticks here cost like $4 a kg so good.
thank you

Yes I like crispy chicken skin but I forget to do that time. Next time will do.
Season and deep fry the skins for some chicken chicharrón.

Great idea!
the tough white parts are called cartilage and yeah you want to remove that.
There are 6 tendons u pull w pliers after chopping the knob of the ankle off

Yep that’s what exactly I do. This is just for video.
Lmao at the backward honing rod technique.
It's "sharpening"
I mean, that knife had a serious chip/roll midway up the cutting edge.. I guarantee that far from I would consider sharp
That's a neat way to prepare chicken, but everything does not need cheese on it.
thank you, I guess you are right.
Gotta replace the fat content that went with the skin
Cheese can be addicting, ive been reducing intake as well
One got cheese, the other did not. So, therefore, not everything got cheese. Something for everyone.
its still clucking .........

yeah i can see the damage the drumstick has done to your knife..
Well, I have been using this knife for around 9 years in my cooking career. There for it is ok to have some chipping or damage 🔪.
Notice that sharpening technique at the start. Drags sharp edge away from honing rod.
@@pickledone9698honing rod doesn't sharpen... it hones... also he did it on top of the chicken to ensure all the metal shavings would season the chicken. Lol 😂 there's easier ways to Debone these.
But the skin's the best part T.T
sure it is. I love it too
No point in cutting the bone like that if you're going to debone.
Well, that is 100% true, but i was just trying to make it easier to debone.
thank you
