Exactly, depends on where you live....I’m working in West Virginia and needed a new truck. I live in Kansas City, MO. I bought a 2018 Laramie 2500 4x4 loaded for 46k that was delivered to me from my home state cheaper than what they were selling a base 2500 here. They wanted 54k for a tradesman, base model. 8k difference ! Insane ...

Whatever level Durango a buyer gets. Use synthetic motor oil to avoid the rocker arm tick. I bought a GT AWD with the tow package and 8.4" screen. After changing the oil to synthetic. Fuel economy is 25mpg @ 70mph with 1500 miles. As for price, the sticker was for $41k. After tax and license, I paid a few bucks short of that. A credit score of over 800 does help getting a better deal. And financing is smart. As long as gap insurance is part of the deal. And using what could be a down payment as emergency savings.

Crazy. I'm in NJ. Got literally the same exact configuration as you. Only difference is I have the black paint. Just compared my window sticker to yours and my base price is $46,595, Total is $51,815. I used trucar pricing and paid a little over $47k.
EDIT: I see the difference. You have RWD. I got the AWD.

Good info brother. Yes use bank $ but you need to take into account Amortization schedule as well. Basically you need to put enough down payment to account for negative equity if you are not planning on keeping car for the term of the loan. Anything less than 20% down will keep you upside on your loan especially if you go over 60 months on the loan. So cash payers put that 20% down or pay 15-20% over your note a month and make sure its applied to the principle,.
I was not feeling the $2,400 tech package with the auto braking (it was hard to find one without it but with everything else I wanted.). Too intrusive and can’t be turned off. I wish they offered adaptive cruise without the nannies but they dont. So I got mine without tech package. MSRP for 50 and some change out the door paid 44,600. Great vid bro.

Just picked up a 2019 R/T with 7k miles on it for 35k. Still under factory warranty and I didn’t take the “new car” hit in depreciation. Shop around, find a good deal, they are out there.

My 22 RT was just under 64k. It's got every option and I needed AWD and the towing package. It all adds up I put 55k down so the payment would be low and it's 0% financing. It'll be payed off before the factory warranty runs out that was my goal.

i agree your credit is everything! i just got my 2020 durango R/T destroyer grey black top edition equipped just like yours red leather interior but mine has the bench seat in 2nd row. it was listed at $42,800 with the upgrades... navigation, electronics pkg., harmon kardon sound system, service and maintenance package it came up to $51k. i negotiated it down to $38,750! i traded my 2017 jeep grand cherokee and $5k drove out with a 2yr/24k mile lease for $115/mo. this is my third lease... why own a vehicle when you can drive new every couple years for only a few $$$/month?

I paid just under $48k for a AWD GT with the 8.4" screen and the tow package. After 1500 miles, getting 25mpg on the highway. I did change the oil to Penzoil Platinum synthetic. Just to lessen the chance of getting the rocker arm tick.
