1 scoop protein
1-2 tbsp of PB
1 tsp of baking powder
Chocolate chips
Water
Bake 350° for 15 min 🤤🤤

What brand of vegan p powder did you use? I'm vegan myself and have been wanting to buy some good quality and taste vegan protein powder!
I used the Vega brand because it's what I have, and it's soy free (which is important to me because soy makes me break out). I like it, but I've heard a lot of people don't like the taste. So I'm going to be trying some different brands for comparison❤
I use the vegan PEScience protein powder and its not bad
T Nagy I use Vega Sport protein powder for workout recovery and Garden of Life Raw Meal for meal replacement smoothies; Both are pea protein based (with rice protein for a complete protein source) and very high quality. The Vega Sport vanilla flavor tastes like cake batter and the mocha tastes like a coffee drink. It's light, smooth, and not grainy IMO. 30g of protein per scoop, but the scoop is huge. I also have a jar of straight pea protein powder from Trader Joe's that I add in to boost the protein.
I do something very similar, but I add ground chia seeds for fiber and Omega 3s, and I pop it in the freezer for up to 30 minutes to get a texture somewhere in between ice cream and pudding. I've not tried coconut in there before.

I like mixing water/almond milk/milk/whatever with casein and then add a bit of greek yogurt, just to cut through the sweetness. It's absolutely delicious.

Yesss! Thank you for posting this! I am also doing RP and am not creative when it comes to my night time casein (I've been having a casein cookie dough every night for about 4 or 5 months). Looking forward to trying this!

Every night, for many moons, I have mixed brown rice protein and yoghurt into a paste (a slurry, if you will), put some nuts and fruits on the top and called it a sad dessert. Every night, without fail. In fact, I sat and ate it whilst watching this. But GIRL I gotta scrape together some better macros somehow because this is an UP. GRADE.
I have never heard of you, but I could not compete with your logic about being in your kitchen so I subbed. Good sounding recipe, I'm gonna try it out with whey, hope it works. :D

I've been doing this for years! I use a vegan chocolate protein sold here in Chile, which is delicious, with water or milk. I'll start using casein instead if I can find something good here. Sometimes I microwave it so it becomes thicker! Deeeelicious
Recipe w/ carbs:
Chocolate Casein - 1 scoop
Almond milk unsweetened vanilla - splash or two
Unsweetened shredded coconut - 15g (fat or serving 🤷🏼♀️)
Peanut butter - 1/2 serving
Rice Krispies treat cereal - 10g
Readiwhip cream
Sprinkles 😋

Next 5min Friday can you do "how to pack for a flight to a PL competition"? What to check or carry on, etc.
Take anything you’ll need for equipment check and meet day in your carry on bag! That way if there are any delays or issues with your checked bag with the airline, you’ll know 100% you have everything you need to compete in the worst case scenario.
It all looked amazing, but I think I'll try it with my powdered peanut butter to cut the calories, because I only eat 1050 calories a day and skip the rice crispy treat too for myself

Hey Meg. If you have any insight on this it would be much appreciated. When I'm in the gym, my dead lift max is around 500 lbs but at home my cheap 300 lb set seems harder? I know the bar is a tad thicker but damn it this bugs me. Would it be crazy to say my test levels are higher at the gym? Great recipe by the way, similar to what I make.....yummy!
Switch the almond milk for greek yogurt...much better
Adds more protein and makes it thicker, but gross taste IMO since greek yogurt changes flavor and almond milk doesn't.

That macro counting has my mind all a mess... haha. I count every macro in everything I eat (and the calories). I’m so curious how it works to only count one...🤔

If you only count one macro from a food, and ignore say the protein and carbs in peanut butter, how can you then be counting calories accurately? I don't understand this about the RP diet templates.
With RP you are not counting calories. The way the templates are setup is RP have "allowed" for what they call cross over macro on top of the other protein, carb and fat allowance.
spechtmi how do they have diets for cutting and for bulking then, when cutting and bulking are primarily a question of calories rather than macros?
true cutting & bulking is all to do with calories but when using their templates you don't need to worry about it as the RP team have done the counting for you. They are trying to make the process simpler - for example a meal might have 30g protein, 25g carbs & 7.5g fat ~ 290 cal then they allow for crossover calories your meal will probably end up around 400 cal. There is still calorie counting, but you don't need to worry about it.
Jean Gove' the diet templates have different levels of progression that you move through based on your rate of fat loss (or muscle gain) progress. So as your progress plateaus, you move onto the next stage of the diet template that already accounts for crossover between macros.

I want to try this! But do you know what sort of vegan protein option would be comparable to casein? Lots of people have a lactose intolerance but I actually have an issue with casein :(
Look for anything with a pea/rice protein blend, they will have a comparable amino acid profile to whey and casein. I like Vega Sport, or you can mix your own.

Casein protein tastes like cement mix. No idea why you would choose to eat that over milk-based protein which tastes nice and creamy.
