This is the most emotional video of Tasty I've ever seen and I love it. Your nephew and your niece must be grateful for having someone who cares about them.
A woman truly becomes a mother when she takes on another child be that blood or not as her own. When she sings to them as they fall asleep, when she puts a plaster on their cut knee, feeds them, holds them when they cry, helps them with their homework and helps them solve their problems. A mother doesn't need to birth a child. She must be there for ones that need her. Having full faith in them and willing to give her life for such a youth they promised to protect. Edit: btw not disrespecting the birth mother of those children, I'm just saying the aunts a good person and shouldn't underestimate yourself just because she didn't give birth to the children she cares for deeply. Also my comment was of my own writing and not copied from Google like some idiot decided to comment without actually looking up anything.
stx btx they technically are the mother/father if they take care of that child and makes their life a good life even if they aren't blood related. Family is not always blood related. I'm not trying to be rude I am just putting my point out there
stx btx example: lets put it this way lets say u had a best friend or a sister or a related family member or someone you know and they had a child and they couldn't care for them or something happened and they want there child to be in your hands and to love them like a mom/father the love she/he gave when he/she gave the child you still love the child as your own the love is the same wither related or not just putting it out there 🍔🌮🍚🎂🍼 ^v^
my god, this was such a good episode! Having a genuine story behind a meal is so nice, and you are a great person for caring for this kids! They are lucky to have you!
I would KILL to have lunches like these. All I got was a squashed cheese sandwich and dry carrots Edit: I wasn't trying to be ungrateful, thank you all for the feedback. Edit 2: so I have appeared to have caused a war in the replies section... I am not ungrateful and I don't think that comparing your stories, although they are valid, to my lunch makes my lunch seem any better. I am thankful that I live the life that I do and can get a lunch but I don't think that leaving angry comments is going to change what lunch I received.
@@rosyibrahim8925 I don't even have school lunch cuz one most of the time my teacher holds us and gives us like 5 minutes for lunch and it generally tastes like food from a garbage can, even the fruits are bruised and look rotten
For the breakfast, she even SAID it was unhealthy but that the idea isn't for everyday, just a treat to make the kid happy. She doesn't expect them to be made every single morning; for a kid's birthday, a treat maybe after the kid does well in a school year, etc. Secondly, yes some people were forced to eat whatever they were asked. But some people like to find ways other than force to get their kids to eat things. Because sometimes, it just doesn't work to force kids to eat things; especially if you have multiple children. There isn't necessarily one way to parent, and some kids don't respond well to force. I was a kid who was forced to eat whatever dinner was being served to me; however, my parents also were aware of what I did and did not like and tried to incorporate those things in different ways because they didn't want me to be MISERABLE growing up! Again, these are just simple IDEAS she is posing. A lot of this is also based off of the every day household income, particularly things that lower-income families can do for multiple people. Fresh produce can get really pricey, so when they are incorporating fresh fruits or vegetables, it won't go to waste with children turning their noses up at broccoli. They won't ever see it tucked away inside a burger!
Forcing children to eat also fosters a very unhealthy relationship with food that can lead to eating disorders in the future. Things like being forced to clear your plate even if you hate the food and are gagging while eating leads to you not learning how to moderate your food intake, which can trigger binge eating disorders. It can also do a 180 and lead to someone who never had any control over their food growing up flip the other way once they're a teenager or adult, and instead exert too much control over their food and food intake, which can trigger anorexia nervosa or bulimia.
aim-to-misbehave yes, forcing your kids to eat things I'd definitely a no-no to me, it's best to get them used to food and figure out what they like and dislike, while still making sure they're eating healthy, that seems like something which caters to a kids and parents needs and wants...

The unicorn cow part.. your niece is so cute omg From the stories you were telling, it sounded like you’d been through a lot. I really hope you’re doing okay, and I just want you to know that you’re an amazing mother. You’ve managed to handle these kids and it may have been tough, but you’ve gotten through it. Your niece and nephew are so lucky to have a loving carer like you ❤️
Me- it’s called waffles, eggs, sometimes bacon because it is fattening. But probably only Americans have these for breakfast not meaning to sound racist.
Bro, I’ve been packing my lunch since kindergarten...... mainly bc my mom would sleep all day and I had to have lunch..... I got in trouble with my teacher for not having a proper lunch. I still make my own lunch (I’m in 7th grade now) and I’m growing so I fill my lunch box so much that it would bulge out and was so compact. I also love cooking and I will sometimes cook food to pack in my lunch, but it was mainly because I’m a guy with huge growth spurts so I eat a lot and I pack the best food and my friends ALWAYS ask me for something. That was a long life story..
The lazy Artist my brother gets in trouble if he’s supposed to get a school lunch and doesn’t, and he’s only going into first grade. At my old school we were allowed to not have a lunch though…
Same, expect my mom didn't want to pack our lunches after seeing my grandma do it so many times throughout the school years. I have been doing it since second grade (I was homeschooled for kindergarten and grade 1, so for lunch I ate whatever my nanny or my mom would make).
Well somw people bring like there countries traditional and some people make fun of them I got fun of but I got over it because I bring Mickey Mouse lunch box
My friends make fun of my lunches all the time. My family eats healthier than people usually do in my house, so when I bring my healthy lunch they always have something to say. I know they mean well but it does hurt a bit
When you started talking about Jackson I started smiling, cause Jackson is such a sweet boy and when Hannah makes videos when she tries something with her family, Jackson is always very open and tries everything. 😁

Addie Russell „mean baker“ just means you‘re good at it. Not that you have all time in the world. Plus - this us recipe for us of whom probably 1% is a mean baker, so it makes sense to use boxed cake mix to show the recipe.
I’m 12 years old I am the farthest thing from a parent you could get from and this is one of my favorite video I always come back to this video I have no idea why
Kitty Lou Kister dude taquitos are a tortilla, cheese and meat together, thats legit the same thing she made she just didnt know the name so she made her own
I initially didn't watch the beginning of this video, so I didn't hear her say she and her mother are the children guardians. So, when she kept referring to her niece and nephew I was like damm she's a hands on aunt. She's making me feel like I'm a bad aunt! But then when I got to the end it made sense. It's admirable that she stepped up to be there when the situation called for it. 👍👍👍👍😇😇😇😙😙😙
My parents never forced us to eat foods they didn't like or knew were plain nasty. They also enforced more homecooking than fast food. All 3 of us have grown up to love every single type of foods. The only vegetable or fruit or anything I don't like is celery and flavorless food 😂 Edit: A big part of kids not liking vegetables is them not having flavor. So many parents expect kids to eat vegetables that are blanched or steamed with only simplicity like salt and pepper, which is GROSS. Add flavors! I love veggies roasted with a combo of lemon pepper, garlic powder, salt, drizzled with olive oil and grilled/baked to perfection. Simple, but YUMMY.
Omg you're exactly like me!! I was raised on fkn awesome home cooked food with all of the flavour. And i also HATE HATE HATE celery and bland food 😁😁😂😂
The thing about kids and veggies is that veggies often have strong flavors that are more intense for them because their taste buds are all there and haven't died off to the extent you would see in the parents. On top of that, a lot of parents either can't or don't cook foods that would suit stronger, less flexible taste buds. My mom used to cook chicken breasts with a spice mix my sisters and I all hated, and we rarely had seconds, even with sauces on the side. My grandmother cooked just plain chicken breasts once, just chicken and salt, and we loved it! The chicken flavor wasn't so strong it put us off, and there wasn't so much peppery flavor like my mom usually made. Basically what I'm trying to say is, cook veggies in appealing, healty, and flavorful ways, and don't just steam everything until it's limp, hot, and tastes bad. Have some fun with it! Also spinach tastes like metal and should ideally be hidden in ricotta cheese or quiche.
Im a teen parent and watching these videos help me out alot. I love cooking for my kidos and my roomates and their children. They aall loves these recipes 💕💕
I made the vegatable burgers yesterday for my family and everyone loved it! I'm 15 and cook dinner for my family 2-4 times a month to help my mom.(I would do more, but school gets in the way) carrots and broccoli are my two least favourite vegetables, but I couldn't even tell they were there 👍
LittleMissCharmMaker I’m not gonna lie, but im a sister of two siblings and my parents and uncle live with me, and I cook dinner for all of them every day except Sunday (we go for dinner) and I still have school work and also go to school. I also do ballet and gym including foot ball and yet I still have time to cook and clean. On weekends I hover the entire house and mop and wash the carpet. I do the washing and empty bins and make sure all the bathrooms are cleaned once a day. I organised all the rooms and I do food shopping. School isn’t even an excuse. Can I also add that with every chore I do , I get paid nothing because I’m already paid by being fed and dressed and cleaned.
I'm homeschooled with ADHD so I tend to take a long time finishing school- from 8 til I have to go to bed on bad days. 😓 My mom wants me to put more importance on school and taking care of our chicken farm than cooking dinner. It sounds like you are a big help with your household!👍 I don't get paid for chores or anything like that either, but I'm not complaining, I am happy without it. It is also difficult for me to find recipies that everyone likes, and are balanced because of my dad's health. I am in no way saying I have it hard, or easy for that matter. Everyone has their different routines. Church and taking care of our 150+ chickens, a hyperactive dog, a rabbit, doing daily house chores, going to church 15+ hours a week, and any random trip my dad decides to take us on makes me a very busy person. We sell our eggs which means helping customers, giving tours, delivering eggs, and keeping their pens in tip-top shape is alot of work. Raising chickens the way we do is harder, and more time consuming, but in the end it's worth it. When I wrote that comment, I was really struggling in school, and it was tough to finish what I needed every day and get a decent grade. (Nothing below a B- we have to start the section over again). I've always wanted to learn ballet and gymnastics, so I am aware of the time you're putting in. I hope you understand that school, whether homeschool or public, is very challenging for alot of people. I'm not a lazy bum complaining about school and making my excuse for everything, it's a legitimate issue that I'm working on. I do find it a bit odd that you felt so bothered by my statement about school getting in the way to say all that you do that makes school of no consequence. I didn't list all the reasons I don't cook more than I do, because I didn't feel it necessary. I was only saying what a great recipe this is. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!

Same, expect my mom didn't want to pack our lunches after seeing my grandma do it so many times throughout the school years. I have been doing it since second grade (I was homeschooled for kindergarten and grade 1, so for lunch I ate whatever my nanny or my mom would make).

What sort of bully teases another kid about their lunch? Like, "HA-HA, LOOK EVERYBODY, BRITNEY HAS A CARROT IN HER LUNCH BOX!"...?

Well somw people bring like there countries traditional and some people make fun of them I got fun of but I got over it because I bring Mickey Mouse lunch box
My friends make fun of my lunches all the time. My family eats healthier than people usually do in my house, so when I bring my healthy lunch they always have something to say. I know they mean well but it does hurt a bit

Addie Russell „mean baker“ just means you‘re good at it. Not that you have all time in the world. Plus - this us recipe for us of whom probably 1% is a mean baker, so it makes sense to use boxed cake mix to show the recipe.
Tell me about it! I’m pissed when they tell you to use a random cake mix instead of giving you a real recipe.

The only vegetable or fruit or anything I don't like is celery and flavorless food 😂
Edit: A big part of kids not liking vegetables is them not having flavor.
Is it weird I love broccoli plain only watery ones though the top isn’t that bad but the stick is a whole new level mhmmm so nice
DXGamer X me too :) broccoli has it's own delish flavor

@@franchescafletcher1069 same here m8
i watch this to cry shes a good parent 😭
Veggies are fine for a kid like me
Its true but idk why i like fish when im a kid but when im in senior high school i hate fish
ive never tried spinach before and most veggies arent a big problem but me and my siblings all hate pumpkin it taste so bad
Little Fluffykitty Lucky you. My little brother doesn't like ice cream or cake
stopthattimerave The person above you in the comments section says that kids don’t like veggies because they don’t have flavor... i’m conflicted.
I love how they tell the stories while cooking its so cool to hear them

- Luma Biscuit - please always eat mine I still have like pint of juice to take a gulp of it for each veg I eat 😂😂

When she said fried rice isn’t a traditional dinner me and my Asian brain said 🤭😦😲🤔😱
