When folding the panels over would a sturdier support help, the angle clamped to the bonnet / boot to hold the panel in place is not as substantial as I would have thought it should be. I assume that is deliberate but there does seem to be a fair bit of bounce. When forming brass I needed a fairly heavy setup, but I realise aluminium is a lot softer. Looking forward to part 21
Yes, I think placing the panel with some foam underneath and a sandbag on top would have helped. There were no dents but quite a few scratches. I'm not worried about the scratches as I need to match the panel with the rest of the bodywork.
