I put the my GT350R Logo on my truck too!!!!!! The dealership is like how did you do that!!!! lolol. I drilled a small hole in the pin, put a key ring through it and then some 550 cord . Easier to pull. I pulled the rear headrest up and out, then placed the loop around one of the rear head rest legs and replaced the head rest. The cord never falls behind the seat.

Good find. You have proved your ability to fault-find many times but it’s the observation that impresses.

Duuuude. Great find. I had to pause and go check my truck. It’s rubbing in the same spot, but hasn’t rubbed through. 2020 with 42k. I’m gonna wrap with Tessa tape and sand the amp with 600 grit on the corner to make sure it’s smooth.

Don't forget to file down smooth the apparent sharp edge that caused the rub out to begin with from that module. I think this was a great video and look forward to seeing more just like it.

This just confirms the saying that all of this fancy electronic, etc."Bun warmer" add on equipment is just more shitz to turn into a problem down the road. And did I hear you comment that it Never functioned from day 1 for this one. Time is $$, Money for ARod, and time out of the owners' time bank.

It would be nice if ford engineers would take things like this into consideration, it may only happen to 1 out of 100 built, but they could have just as easily placed the module stationary next to the amp and been able to control the clearances a little better. I did car audio and accessories for the better part of 11 years and came across things like this allot during that time in all makes and models.

How many people look into why a fuse blew? Seen to many people just put a 20 or 25 in there. Unfortunately, your wire starts to become the fuse at some point. Great find! Love digging into electrical issues.

I have never seen someone get so lucky chasing down a short in a wiring harness on a vehicle. In my experience shorted wires are always found in the most difficult locations to get to.

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod I know and the dealer said SM51714 does not apply to my model year truck even though I’m having the same problem. Heated/cooled seats. Do not work when I use my remote start until I get in the cab in touch start button. That’s why I asked if there was something that you could turn on in forescan that you may have discovered

Do you know what could be the cause of the multi contour seats on my 22 F350 turning on. The passenger seat I will look over and it is moving and no one has sat in it and I haven’t turned it on. Dealer says there’s no fix for it, or not anything that they’re aware of.
