Long time no see! Glad to see you at it again
A rare Mike Trout autographed card sold in August 2020 for $3,930,000 The owner purchased the 2009 Bowman Chrome Draft Prospect card in 2018 for $400,000 The 3.93 mil sale beat out the highest price for any card, which was Honus Wagner's $3,412,000. Not sure about Mickeys card for 12.4 mil. Thanks for the list !! Excellent work !!! I still have nightmares about concentrating on the gum at 5 cents a pack and tossing the cards or putting them in my bicycle spokes. Who would have ever thought !!!! Neighbor kid had a complex baseball game he made....and he had every card imaginable
Thanks for the info, Don! I appreciate the feedback as well 🙏🏻
Great video man, we appreciate you and your awesome content!!

Great to see you here again.. Seeing the Reggie Jackson it reminded me how dumb, I was when I was younger.. I sold the card to a card store for under 100 bucks.. in my opinion,
Psa 8.5 or 9.0

Quick note, the Roberto Clemente sold for higher, more recently ($1.1 million in March 2021) and the only PSA 10 was sold in 2012 as part of the Dmitri Young collection for $432k
The Dmitri Young collection also had the PSA 10 Hank Aaron, sold in 2012 for $357k
Good to see you back Matt!
This video has fantastic production value! Great stuff!
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Great video! I just think Marshall Fogel would disagree about the SGC 9.5 being the best '52 Mantle in existence when he's sitting on the only PSA 10 in existence that looks incredible if you've ever seen it.
Dimitri Young collection is/was 🔥🔥🔥🔥
@ 18:55 Actually, Thurman Munson and Joe Jackson aren't in the Hall of Fame as of yet, either.....but great cards nonetheless.
Good to see Reggie Jackson high on the list and getting love. Mr.October.
I luv your videos bro. Especially when you do baseball. Great video.
Thanks, man! Glad you like them! 🙏🏻
I remember seeing a photo album filled with Mickey Mantle cards. 3 or 4 pages of his rookie cards. Most were gem mint. None were counterfeit. I worked for one of the biggest baseball card dealers from Wilkes-Barre Pa back in the 1980’s. He had most of these cards. His most treasured cards ended up in his private collection. I would put his private collection as the best in the world. That may not be the case today nor do I know if he still lives. One day he wanted me to see something and he sat me down and we had an almost father /son moment enjoying just 3 of his albums. One was filled with Hank Aaron cards. I can’t even remember the 3rd album but it was a big name. Most of my memory was when he opened the Mickey Mantle album up. Just pages and pages. Filled with all of his early cards. Both rc tops AND BOWMAN! It’s ridiculous to think that that 1 photo album he had was worth….. over 100 million for sure but I really don’t know. These cards were in only the best condition. No dog eared cards. No blemishes. Can’t remember if any were off centered or not. I remember him telling me that he did sell Mickey Mantle rc cards just not any of the exceptional ones. He owned apartment buildings that were filled with cards. Not just 1980’s junk era but from every era. He man was a king in the industry. Also a Royal
a$$hile. We did a convention up in Cooperstown and my mom who worked for him(how I got my job) gave me some money to buy some cards while we were there. As I walked around I saw a man trying to sell a box full of cards to a lot of the dealers. He wanted a couple hundred dollars, which I did not have. I kept an eye on him because I had $75 dollars and wanted them. 1984-85 star basketball cards. Very few were made. When he was completely dejected because NOBODY WANTED basketball cards back then. My mom actually bought me a Lou Alcindor rc card that was flawless except for a slight dog eared corner. The other 3 corners were perfect. She paid $30 dollars for it. Not too shabby for a Kareem Abdul Jabbar tc card!! Anyways. I was at the time behind my bosses table when I seen him leaving and I offered to buy them all for 75 bucks. My boss came over and told the guy he couldn’t sell them to me only him. He paid only $50 bucks for them even though I had $75 in my hand. He just said “Ben, he came here to see me not you. He was wrong but I was wrong to try to buy it as I stood behind his tables. I should have excused myself and bought it privately. We made 22 full sets of all the teams. All of the cards were in mint shape. 29 Michael Jordan rc cards. That’s not mentioning how many Magic Johndon/Larry Bird cards and everybody else for that matter. I got none of them. Not even a thank you. He was just annoyed with me.
I’m glad you’re back man !!!!
loved the video. informative and enjoyable.
Great job thanks for sharing
Great job brother. Brings back memories
Hey Matt. Great to see you.
Hey there!
Good to see ya back brother! Hope all is well!
Thanks, man! I'm doing great and hope you are as well 🙏🏻 I appreciate the support!
That 1957 Don Drysdale was mine at one time, found it up in the attic underneath some plank boards.
Gotta say these PSA lists are great. 👍
I’ve got a few of these cards thanks for the 411👍🏽
This was awesome. Any chance you can do this with the other sports--football, basketball, & hockey? Glad to see you back.
Yup! I am working on a football list this week ✅
Glad you’re back 🎉
PSA 10 Fisk is tough. Real tough.
Excellent work!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video!! Quick question, what editing and graphics software do you use? I am a high school video teacher and would like to do more, especially with graphics... thanks!
Adobe Suite PRO 🙌
Centering looks off on that gem mint Gibson RC
Nice job with your video. Great content. What editing software do you use?
Awesome line up.
Good to see you back
Glad to see You ,! 😊😊😊😊 WOW! Cards ♦️ $$$$$$$s. yes, More on this Topic,Thank You!
Good count down for older cards thanks
You bet!
Oh my!
I've kept 2 boxes of 1000's of 1970's & 80's (few 1960's Topps) baseball cards that I bought back in 1999 from an Estate sale.
I have so many Rookie, Nolan Ryan, Wade Boggs, Frank Thomas, Jose Canseco, and so on. I have Topps, Fleer & Ultra, Donruss complete sets.
This guy I bought from that died must have known which cards to collect, because I haven't a clue what I have.
Awesome great Job brother
What a fascinating video! From my amateur eyes, some of the 10s looked a bit off-center. Are vintage cards graded differently?
Im getting ready ti go thru an inherited card collection. Im hoping to have a couple of these. 😂
Nice list.
Bout time bro !!!!it’s been over 2 years
Good to see a new video from you
More to come!
Thank you, just thank you.
Welcome back it's been a minute since I've seen anything from you. Joe Jackson isn't in the HOF either.
Back in the Spring of 1968, l was on my way to School, and bought a pack baseball cards. When l in the school yard, l opened it, and had te Nolan Ryan, Gerry Koosman card shown. I didnt keep it, but it was in mint condition when l opened the pack.
Back to PSA Collector?
Excellent video. Very informative. Any chance you can do the same video for 🏈 and 🏀
Coming soon! ✅
this stuff is great, are you making this video with Synfig?
Goat. I learned how to submit to PSA from you.
“Lazarus come forth!” The original hobby influencer is back from the dead.

Good you back.
There will never be a 2021 again!! But great video!!
Some Killer cards
Welcome back dude
Great Video topic -- best sports card RUclipsr out there.. welcome back!
Thanks for that feedback, Gordan! You the man! 🙏🏻
Yep, I saw the 52T Mantle at the AC National n have a photo of it on my photo n others.
I was collecting the entire 1951 Bowman set and all I needed to
complete the set was a True Mantle RC! A good friend of mine who had a sports card shop in Greensboro NC. David Green is his name and he and I were at a Sports card show in Clemmons NC and he said I found you a gem mint 10 as far as the card centering and perfect borders but it had a slight crease straight across the middle of it! Like a DUMMY I could have gotten it for 300.00 bucks and I didn't buy it because of the crease and this was in 1985 and I'm still kicking myself in ass for not buying the card!
Oh shit you back! With the OG name too! I guess you lawyered up! 🤣 j/k welcome back.
Whats going on with sending the jeter rookie off to psa and them not grading it do to minimum width?
So fucking awesome your making content again.....love your vids
Thanks, James, man, I appreciate that enthusiasm! 🙏🏻
We have a huge container full of old baseball cards from my husband’s late uncle. Where is the best place to sell them? He started collecting in the early 1950’s.
I remember that Brett (and a few other of those Dmitri Young cards) going on auction on ?SCP around 2012. 20K was the sale price. I went up to 5k on that card. Whoops. :P Pretty sure he sold his entire collection in *2012* to fund some charity work. Also...pretty sure PWCC just sold a 9 Clemente for around 1 million in past 6 months.
Back in the early 80's that Mantle rookie was selling for 50k
Thank you for that awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Do u grade the cards come out of tuff stuff the perforated cards
Finally hes back!!!!
Wait. Wasn't there a honus sgc 3 that sold around the same the time as the mickey? Pretty sure it sold for around $7mill or around there. Also shoeless isn't a Hof player either. Other than that was glad to see you back.
Cool list! Who was close that didnt make the list?
Top man
From the 60's to present I have, atleast, 20+ cards. To bad I used them in my bicycle spokes 😢😢😢.
so how many 68 bench cards do you have and what grade
1952 Topps isn't Mantle's first card. I believe Bowman probably printed the so called Mantle first card or Rookie card. The 1952 Topps Mantle is the card, that every collector wishes they owned. Given the fact that they threw cases of 2nd series cards in the drink. Makes one wonder how many Mantle's are on the bottom of the East River.? I have one question, where did you get that nice psa baseball hat? Thank you, for your time. Your videos are informative and appreciated. Godspeed: Mike
HE'S BACK!!!
Missed you!
Matt, how the hell are you buddy? Its good to see you.
Can you think about Barry Bonds. I was wondering what you think. Honestly I have a 1987 Topps 4 error and mine Unique and it should grade a ten.
