It's so funny, I play Hardy every morning to get every morning to get everyone up in a good mood. My 5 year old granddaughter ask me "Papa, do you party?" I told her I was a little old to party at which she replied "well you should because that guy that lives in his truck bed parties" I just laughed and laughed.
The symbolism behind this song is genius, and is so very well written. I've never really listened to Hardy, and this song has become one of my favorites overnight. I've always been a rocker, from classic to metal, but some country is kind of growing on me. I can get behind this, it's almost like a whole new genre. And he does it so seamlessly and effortlessly. Starting with how he grew up and got into the music industry, writing hit songs for other popular artists, but never has been able to have his own voice or style. He was a mockingbird, writing others songs. But he finally got a microphone, and he will not conform, even if that makes him unpopular. I have a newfound respect for this man as a musician and an artist. Not to mention, that claymation in the music video is badass. I look forward to discovering more of his music. Rock on!

Hardy is the definition of musician. Like ole Dusty Rhoads would say, "You are it baby, you couldn't sell it if you wanted to". I'm a singer and song writer, just never got that big break. I'm 48 and ain't getting any younger. I have won many singing competitions, traveled with bands for 20 years. Praised by people all over, told constantly and still to this day I have a great voice. Well, guess it ain't that great. So I decided to start playing and recording my own music. So in a few months I will put somethings here on the RUclips.

Anyone else notice this happens exactly half way through the album? 7 country songs before in all lower case, 7 rocks songs after in all uppercase. Amazing how clever and detailed he is!

Hell yeah! 🤘🏻 I was raised on country but I’ve turned into a metal head the last few years. I’ve always wished somebody would put the two together. This song and Jack are the perfect blend, all they’re missing is a heavier metalcore style breakdown. The screams are awesome!

I love when hardy goes CROW! Those songs where he brings like a real rock/ metal tone in his voice kick ass. Maybe dial back the F-bombs, but keep the message true and get this type of sound on the radio!!!!

I “LOVED” rock but was introduced to Country from a friend and I loved the story telling aspect of Country and the sounds of Rock. It's so funny, I play Hardy every morning to get every morning to get everyone up in a good mood. My 5 year old granddaughter ask me "Papa, do you party?" I told her I was a little old to party at which she replied "well you should because that guy that lives in his truck bed parties" I just laughed and laughed.
The symbolism behind this song is genius, and is so very well written. I've never really listened to Hardy, and this song has become one of my favorites overnight. I've always been a rocker, from classic to metal, but some country is kind of growing on me. I can get behind this, it's almost like a whole new genre. And he does it so seamlessly and effortlessly. Starting with how he grew up and got into the music industry, writing hit songs for other popular artists, but never has been able to have his own voice or style. He was a mockingbird, writing others songs. But he finally got a microphone, and he will not conform, even if that makes him unpopular. I have a newfound respect for this man as a musician and an artist. Not to mention, that claymation in the music video is badass. I look forward to discovering more of his music. Rock on!

Hardy is the definition of musician. Like ole Dusty Rhoads would say, "You are it baby, you couldn't sell it if you wanted to". I'm a singer and song writer, just never got that big break. I'm 48 and ain't getting any younger. I have won many singing competitions, traveled with bands for 20 years. Praised by people all over, told constantly and still to this day I have a great voice. Well, guess it ain't that great. So I decided to start playing and recording my own music. So in a few months I will put somethings here on the RUclips.
