❤️ justjen thanks for checking it out. I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and you now have a dedicated viewer. 🤘 This is the title track for his new album in Jan. Its half country (the mockingbird) and half rock (THE CROW)
Thanks for joining my squad! We have the literal best time here!!! You should try to come hang in the livestreams! Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at 2pm est! We have a blast!!! I promise!!! It’s my goal to make ppl feel better by the time we end the streams! Oh and ❤️ I am in love with this dude’s music now! Even my mom likes it!!!
This story is about how he actually is a songwriter who has written TONS of songs for other singers that have went to the top of the charts and made a lot of other ppl famous and now he’s decided it’s HIS turn to become famous and go to the top and he doesn’t care what anybody thinks anymore.
Hardy stays true to himself..can't go wrong with him. "Sold out" is another amazing song he sings with a rock feel to it. I love it cause I am metal at heart but love me some country as well. Hardy is perfect for all my moods wrapped up into one!!!
I come from a small town in Canada and my grandparents raised us all up with 3 things to go by in life, respect everyone no matter who they are, be kind and never forget where you come from
Thank you Jen for being you. Thank you for not stopping your video to say goodbye to your son. You are a good soul. Thank you also for your "Cleveland" vibe. I detected that the first video I watched of yours. Stay true to yourself. You are loved by many and you touch a lot of hearts. Thank you.
As a Mississippi woman, I am so proud to call Hardy one of our own 🫶🏼 He more than deserves all the fame he has recently gotten. He's written so many songs for other artists and never gotten his due credit.
Never heard of this guy before I watched your reaction to Wait in the truck, but I’m really digging this Mocking bird/ Crow song! It sounds like you’ve been through a lot in your life Jen, but it’s made you who you are today! I’m happy for you to be living your best life! Really enjoy your reactions. Take care and keep shining!
I first heard about Hardy when I moved to where he's from, been a fan ever since and my husband is from the same town too and yes he's the same way, commented on another video wait in the truck.
I just discovered your channel and I wouldn’t change being a true southern man and teaching my kids for anything in the world my kids learn respect and manners and how to be a good god fearing person in general
Amen kids should always come before yourself because we chose to bring a precious innocent child into this hell called earth and it’s our duty to protect and love that child forever
I saw Morgan Wallen last month live and Hardy opened up for him!! I had never heard him before and he blew the roof off the place!! I became an instant fan! Could not believe he was the opener! He’s a star!! ⭐️👏🏼👏🏼
I a DEEP South Southern Boy and never even left my state until the age of 22 when I joined the Army and YES, I learned Men from other states were DEFINITELY raised differently! The WORST is out West! I couldn’t WAIT to get back home!
I read an interview and Hardy said his favorite band was Pink Floyd. Especially the Wall album. His father played Pink Floyd all the time which influenced Hardys musical taste. To give yourself a giggle, watch his video of his song Rednecker. I laughed so hard because the stuff they were doing, I did most of it too even though I'm a girl. Rural country folks like Hardy and I have to think up stuff to do, so it brought back memories. He's from Mississippi and I. From Alabama. So I get it. I'm so glad you like Hardy! Plus, I think your an awesome person and I enjoy your complete honesty. Blessings to you always!❤
Hardy is signed by big loud. They have a country and rock label and he sings and writes for both. All of his music is straight fire 🔥 I've seen him live at Darien lake and he's just badass
How cool I randomly found this reacts video. I searched for this song specifically for reactions because I am a hardy fan and I think it’s so cool Jen you are in Mentor of all places! I was just there for thanksgiving at my sisters house. Keep it up! Good job
As a hardy super fan I’d say his heaviest songs besides this one are JACK, BOOTS, BLURRY(Cover), SOLD OUT, HATE YOUR HOMETOWN, Beer With My Buddies(underrated), TRUCk BED, and No Place Like Hometown
You'd be shocked at how many of these guys in country and rock or metal are greatly loved here in the UK.🇬🇧🔥❤️💪🏻🙏🏻 We know good shit when we hear it. Love you and your channel Jen.👍🏻
Hardy is with a record label-- the same one as Morgan Wallen-- "Big Loud" but, he has made it known that he will write and sing his own music and not be exclusive to one genre
He stated in an interview that the “Do That, Do This” line was not about the industry but about the internal fear so to speak to transition more into rock. He compared it to the Mockingbird talking to The Crow. There’s an awesome interview with him from Rockfeed where he’s talking about how he grew up a rock kid and he kinda trolls himself a little saying “he knows he’s part of the problem and he writes douchy country songs”. He was a writer before he did this and wrote for the likes of Florida Georgia Line, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean and more. He has a really fucking awesome story that’s worth diving into. Fun fact - Radio Song by Hardy that features Jeremy McKinnon from A Day To Remember was actually written with Jeremy and with Cody from Wage War!
Seriously chick. I love u u're such a bad ass. I love u're attitude u're views. And everything u say. Just gold. U're amazing and u got a loyal subscriber
I love how he talks about the artists that sing songs that were written by other people which makes them mockingbirds while he is the crow singing his own songs with his own message
He is not independent, he is still on a major label. I think he has gained enough leeway to make this song. Many other bands have been able to make songs like this too.
When you stopped to be a Mom and kiss your son goodbye was amazing. I miss my Mom. Thank you for including that is this video and no editing that part out. God Bless you and your family 🙏
You like anthems... that is what his song Sold Out sounds like to me! One of my favorite songs! I have been waiting forever for country to start carrying over into rock! Yes, I know there's always been a southern rock vibe in country, but I mean like this... What i call F-you music! The future looks BRIGHT!
Just found your channel and subbed. This song has several different meanings, most country sounds basically the same. Hence the mocking bird reference. Hardy has been in the business for a while, mainly as a writer, he has 11 number 1’s to his credit. The crow, yeah I’m doing some of my own songs my. Lol. Oh you definitely don’t have to apologize for getting up and giving your son a hug. Much respect. Awesome vid by the way.
I'm just seeing this one month late! I must have missed the notification. I've seen all sorts of reactors, reaction to it and wondered where yours was. I'm typing this before watching, but I already know what your going to say.
He was a country song writer for a long time! Hardy is my absolute favorite, new subscriber! Baily Zimmerman a rock and a hard place is really good very country though but was signed by mercury Nashville a month and a week after he put his first song on tic toc! I usually hate tic tok country but it's so good! Your awesome !
country artist like Hardy and Morgan Wallan remind me of what "Outlaw Country' was to people when Waylon and Willie were hitting it big way back when. This is great music. Most of todays "New" country just sucks!
So I found you by listening to HARDY reactions and I think you really need to hear his song JACK. Amazing song and it's made FROM the perspective of a bottle of Jack Daniels
the last time i was in cashville was back in 2010. i bounced thru some downtown bars on a week night. damn good music down in the gutters. one line from a song i remember the most was "i've had all the nashville i can stand." another southern gentleman you should check out is Marcus King. best singer/guitarist on the planet right now.
Jen… This is just one of many things & reasons WHY I’m so glad I subscribed to your channel way back when I did. Opening my eyes & ears (👀👂) to bands & artists from around the world that I’d never heard of before, much like your beloved Nightwish. Lyric videos are a great way to really get into the heart of a song & this was no exception 🫵😁👍. Oh, as for your love for southern boys, may I mention 1 in particular… Zach Rushing. A “big unit with a big heart” who’s also 1 of the funniest guys around 👍😁. I loved your views of this beautiful one. Much love always from Australia 🇦🇺♥️♥️♥️🇦🇺
I looked into the song a bit ago, and the crow part is actually more of internal battle with himself not an external force telling him to sing or be a certain way.
I never picked that up, but it definitely has P.O.D. vibes. Thats crazy you noticed that imo. Spot on. Id definitely agree on the seeming seether and shinedown influence
He's actually signed to two record labels. He has a songwriter deal with BMI, where he just won there songwriter of the year award a week or so ago. For his music, he is signed with Big Loud records. I have seen Hardy twice. Absolute party. I have a concert footage channel. here is the link to his playlist if you want to check it out....well as you check out his music for your channel first. :) ruclips.net/p/PLOQNRo248c-NqToYNmgo-I3vOdRtMOnqE
BMI is his PRO, which is what collects songwriters’ royalties for live performances. All songwriters can become affiliated with one whether signed to a publishing company or not, but with the other writers affiliated with BMI it’s an insane honor to win that award
Thank you Jen! This reaction was my favorite. We personally didn't have the same opinions on gun control. BUT... I won't unbsubscibe on lack of info you was given. Love ya Girl!

He's been a writer of music for a number of artists. But he is an awesome single artist also.
I fucking LOVE originality. Hardy is original and damn the music industry needs guys like this so bad.
