Killing Valheim Bosses with PUFFERFISH (No Weapon Challenge)

- Don't you hate it when pufferfish land in your boat and poison you? Well, I used to, until I realised that that sweet sting and resulting neurotoxin could be weaponised against three of Valheim's bosses: Eikthyr, Moder and The Queen. So, I decided to see which of them could actually be killed without weapons, shields or armour, using only some potions along with way too many pufferfish.

There's the possibility that they stopped watching, but the greater probability is that you've become more popular so therefore they make up a smaller population of the whole. I betcha if you check again it'll be even smaller of a percentage.

Great stuff! I actually used this exact same method to settle a dispute with my neighbour about our shared fence (he thinks a wall of wooden spikes is a bit too much). Worked wonders as I haven't seen him in weeks. The smell of rotting fish wafting over my dwarf-proof wall is a little difficult to deal with though.

The first time I ever played this game, I learned to survive, gathered resources, and built a raft. I was setting out the coast near Spawn to a place that was north then west along the spawn continent. The way was rough, the seas were cruel, and the wind was rare. But I'd made it. The base was in sight. Hours of prep. An uncomfortable amount of skulls on my map. All worth it. I was safe. My friend was on the pier to greet me and boost my dude. Life was good.
Then I started losing health. What the Dickens? There aren't any enemies here. I have no potions. This is bad. Land is so close!
And I died there in the harbour. I got pufferfished at the 11th hour. It was all for naught.
Hahaha what a brilliant story. I think most people's first interaction with pufferfish is "wtf, why am I taking damage?" when one jumps into the boat but dying like that takes the cake. I hope seeing some bosses suffer the same fate was cathartic in a good way. Thanks for the awesome comment!
I've got no clue about Valheim (have played maybe 30 minutes of it) so I was a bit confused why your video was recommended to me. I highly enjoyed it though, interesting premise and super fun execution! I'm still pausing the video at the wikihow section and reading the bogus articles you made up 😂

there's defiantly some building cheese you can use for moders ai, however it may break your rules for "only pufferfish"
Yeah mate, when I made this I was trying to be as minimalist as I could (except for the number of pufferfish). I might come back to trying to find an easier way for Moder that doesn't rely on having a frost cave nearby, even if it means digging a pit first or whatever!

No mods actually, just using the "freefly" dev command. You can scroll to slow the speed down and by clicking you can rotate instead of panning

That's a really cool idea! I'd like to run a server. Maybe disable weapons and just have chests full of pufferfish and eitr for everyone to use? haha I'll let you know if I end up running one.

you ask yourself how to get wood and stone and you have frost resistance on, so how did you had the mead in first place?
Oh, I start with it - I mention it at the start of the video. It's the same as the poison potion which you might notice as well. I try to minimise what I am allowed to use, but I couldn't figure out a way around using those two potions!
Why are you not taking damage from not having a cap on during moder? you take damage from being cold right?
Most of the time it would be frost potions. Being near the fire or standing close to the entrance of the frost cave (which counts as being sheltered) also stop you taking damage. I did die a couple of times from forgetting to immediately take another potion when one wore off but it didn't make the video lmao

He's still in the game but he's immune to poison damage, same with the other bosses not in this video
