Insane Valheim Challenge - Building Only! (Part 2 - Hildir's Request)

- The sequel to the Valheim challenge video nobody asked for: • Insane Valheim Challen...
Not only could I not wait for Valheim Ashlands, but I couldn't even wait for the official release of the Hildir's Request Update, so today I'm taking on the public test version of Hildir's Request without weapons, tamed animals, or any tools except for the build hammer (no Pickaxe, Cultivator, Hoe).
As you'll see, I unfortunately couldn't use the build hammer as much as I'd liked, since all of the new Minibosses are in dungeons where most objects can't be built, and many enemies had resistance to fire. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed this little adventure!!

I love these videos man how do you not have more subs?
The trick is to right click the sub button, copy the link, put it in a URL shortener (important for the next step) then turn it into a QR code (short links work better in QR)

Not yet, but really soon! It's got to the point where I can barely edit videos because it's so god damn laggy haha. I had to split the first "building only" video into 6 different projects.
I'm getting pretty much everything new, except the GPU which I'll just move across because it's good enough (RX 6600) and I can't justify the price for a huge upgrade at the moment.

is valheim optimised now? havent played in a year or even more, but i couldnt get more than 45 fps no matter what (rtx 3080 ti, i9 10850k, 32 ram)
That's messed up haha. Honestly I have no idea if it has really changed over that time, but it hasn't really felt like it for me. For some reason just on the specific save for these videos I get 5 fps in a couple of areas.

Waited for mistlands for a year.
Convinced friends to buy the game and going through a second play through in order to prepare for mistlands. The update came , Biggest disappointment of my life. Got so disheartened that haven't touched the game since
Fair enough, IMO I don't mind the difficulty but some aspects of it I find pretty annoying. It does get a bit better as you unlock the new equipment but if you hate it from the start you probably won't change your opinion by much.
