Well explained .....you reallly deserve a subscribe from me. I appreciate this kinda video with much detailed explained!!
Am learning a lot from your Chanel. May God bless your efforts.
Regarding the cache difference, it doesn't come from the fact that it is "fused". 13500 is alder lake silicon / cores from a technical point of view, while the 13600K is truly raptor lake silicon / cores, hence the lower cache on the former.
Yep.. Poor research from the maker of the vídeo.
Better not to say Anything instead of giving the wrong information.
@@fernandom5070 Then why are you here watching the video? lmao
What about those boost clocks that he talked about in the video? If I buy a non-K Intel CPU then that performance will only be maintained for a little while before it is throttled down? If that's the case, then isn't it better to buy the 12600k instead of 13500?
@@Dhruv-qw7jf you can also set the power limits according to your needs, which will maximize the time during which the boost clocks will last, while also, on Z690 / Z790 mobos (and some B660 and B760 mobos the bios of which don't lock currents) undervolting, which will mitigate the power consumption usage.
And honestly, except for some really specific usecases, who needs 100% max boost 100% of the time?

Thank you for the great video!
Planning to build this for my very first PC but seems like my savings is still half way through out the budget 😢
Had my eye on this CPU for quite a while, looking to put together a mini home server with docker containers and VM's, those cores plus the integrated graphics does away with need for a GPU make it a hidden gem.
Did you get a chance to build it yet? I got the parts but curious if anyone else did the same and run into any issues. Mine is going to be SFF so can’t have big coolers, unfortunately - so concerned my Noctua L9i may not be sufficient
@@ChatGTA345 not yet, I don't expect something like that to put out much heat, especially with the lower wattage 65W base. That cooler should be fine if you're using it for general processes. It's only likely to need more if you are maxing out the CPU all the time.
@@Darkstriker Hmm, I looked at its power specs and they actually go as high as 154W (with all cores maxed maxed out). So for normal use totally fine, I'm just concerned for when I do transcoding..
The 13500 is a BEAST. $250, and it outperforms a 7700x in multi-threaded performance, and Intel's IGP make it a champ for content creators. Its also very good for gaming, plenty enough if youre not buying a 4080 or better.

@@gameotic1 probably not really, you won't see much difference for the cost of the processor. You will get the option to overclock, but without exotic cooling there isn't a huge amount of headroom for that anyway in my opinion
Excelente video and informatión, thanks, One question: I5-13500 works in mb Asus proart b 660? Thanks for You answwers.
The i5 13600 non k and below are actually using Alder Lake dies, aka a cut down desktop 12900 with 2 less P-cores, or alternatively a 12900H mobile CPU with adjusted clock speeds. It is architectually different from an Raptor Lake i5 13600k, which is why theres L2 Cache difference.
I am sorry but needs to read up on the parts he reviews in more detail. Limiting the megabytes by software? Really?

It’s not as crazy as it sounds. Many parts on the past have had parts disabled instead of actually fused off
@@stebo5562 except that in this scenario its just negligence, as a reviewer you are expected to know this kind of things, instead of misleading your viewers into thinking you might be able to unlock them in the future. No, the cache literally dont exist on the die itself.

Microcenter has the 13600k for $249.99 (and don't seem to carry the 13500), so if you happen to live near a Microcenter makes sense to go with the 13600k unless you really need the lower TDP (which isn't much). Looking forward to you doing sapphire rapids w reviews when they actually become available assuming you can get your hands on them.
Other than video editing(I edit casually) should I prefer this over an i5 12400 for gaming? How much is the performance difference between these two. DDR 4 vs DDR5 which route should I go for.

Hello, i saw that this processor supports 4800mhz ram, if i buy 64gb at 5666mhz can i use this frequency or i will be forced to use it at 4800? Thanks
I have the 13500 installed in my new build currently. Working great. I also have a Gigabyte AMD RX 6750 XT card which isn't installed yet. Waiting until I have saved up to buy another NVME drive before installing. The whole system runs at 75 watts total. That jumps up another 22 watts if I play what is now a 10 year old game on Steam.
According to PC Builds com the 13500 and 6750XT is best for 1080p gaming to avoid any bottlenecks in general tasks. At 1440p it says there will be a 5.9% chance of a bottleneck. What you think, should I buy a 1080p or a 1440p monitor? Don't want to have to spend the best part of £1200 upgrading the CPU and GPU just to minimise any bottlenecks especially when the whole build has cost me over £2000 already. The only possible upgrade I am looking at currently is the PSU.
U should have gone for 3060 or arc a770 for same price they can handle 1440p gaming at 60+ fps
Great video 🤍 helped me a lot! But I'm confused as what you said about the power limits, should I get Z690 (from the previous alder lake) or B760 ? Z790 is costly af! No commnets on that 🙂

$438 NZD and has a passmark score of 32 thousand! -- The rest don't even come close at that price! Some $500 cpus aren't as powerful and the $600 ones are only a bit faster on passmark!

considering amount of cores/threads its not so fast and in gaming its slower overall especially with ddr4
So 13500 is same as 13600k for video editing apps but worst for 3D rendering applications.
wow... literally half the power draw of a 13700k
What about the 13400 ?
Similar to the 12400 with better clocks. The 13500 is a much bigger and better upgrade.
VERY different cpu's and VERY different use cases
13500 has alderlake cores instead of raptorlake ones that's why it performed worse than the 13600k even though they pulled the same wattage
Why no review of Asus B650 proart ?
B650 esta muerto por AMD ryzen ni un brillo
for me ryzen 7 5700x with a cheap am4 and ddr4 would be a better choice, its overall cheaper
Why not get a Phenom 2 ,, MUCH cheaper ,, useless but cheaper is not often a wise decision
