Lot of people say oh it’s so bright especially headlights but some do not realize how much the brightness effects others especially truck drivers blind the crap out of u and the ones that jack up trucks adjust your headlights but always adjust after putting in brighter lights
I bought a 4 pack of metal switchback leds that are super bright from Ebay for my 96 Chevy Silverado for only $16 dollars and some change with tax. Best I've done to the parking/turn signal lights. I also have Fahren led headlights that are 20,000 Lum 6500k from Amazon for almost $70.00 for just the low beam but well well worth the money. I also got total glass headlight assemblies from Amazon made by Spyder Auto for $100.00 and you can swap out bulbs if needed. No more yellowish headlights ever. Just remember when using switchback led bulbs I had to pull out the side marker light bulb in order for the switchbacks to work properly. I know I lost that little side marker light but no big deal for me. Remember to use an led electronic flasher relay so you don't get hyper flashing. I did not use resistors and mine work amazing. FYI: I had the blinker lights on my instrument panel stay illuminated at all times when the headlights were on which was annoying but after switchback swap and removing the little 194 side marker lights the blinker light indicators on my dash no longer stay illuminated which is amazing. Hope this helps. I drive a 96 Chevy Silverado C1500 5.7L.
Just get another turn signal connector and splice into your parking and turn signals unless u want the daytime running lights than just splice to turn signals
Made a huge difference , waiting till I get paid to order some for my 03 . Can’t wait for the headlight build . Been tossing around a few ideas with building some . Love your videos, and how you explain everything thoroughly.
Quick question, Do i need a resistor? Also do i have to have my parking lights on for the lights to work correctly or can i have them off ? Currently with the Led switchback i currently have, i have a resisor wired in it. It will hyperflash if i have the parking lights off. If i have it on it will not hyperflash. Is the case different with these?
Let get the color right for the front in all 50 USA states. front lights can be the following colors. For daytime running and parking lights can legally be amber or white for any vehicle. But the front turn signal must be amber. So switchback LEDs will be a good solution to the problem. After all the parking light is white. Daytime running light and/or turn signal are amber color.
I subscribed I have a 2007 GMC Sierra lifted I got some bubbling clear coat freaking me out I pretty much do all the work to it but to tell you the truth I suck at wiring love the truck keep up the good videos
Finally did this to my suburban, had these already for the rear turns/reverse. Normal daylight operation does exactly how I expect, however nighttime operation runs the amber lights dim, and keeps the indicators on the dash slightly illuminated as well.
Aaron what's up new truck bro I did wanted to ask you of you ok with putting your email out. I got a few questions, I have the same 2wd and first time lifting mine just recently. Appreciate it keep the good work up 👍

Good luck at nopi
Did you just wire your DRL and turn signals together to get the dual action
What Brand Name are the Switchback LED Bulbs?
Everything is legal in Florida

So whats switching back compared to just getting amber leds?
The "white" looks super yellow
How did you get the daytime running light to blink as a turn signal?
Just get another turn signal connector and splice into your parking and turn signals unless u want the daytime running lights than just splice to turn signals
How the lights are holding up now
Still doing great.
did you have to do the new sockets or was that just by choice? i know this video is old lol just hoping you see this
Just ordered sockets yesterday and got them today. Ordered switchbacks and resistors today. Cant wait.

Thank you! Headlight build should be up this weekend!
Aaron Cates looking forward to it . Wish we weren’t so far away, so maybe we could meet up one day
How far is far?
I live in Minden, La . So it’s probably a good 15-16 hours
LA isn’t too bad I might make it to a truck meet there some time.

How do you stop the hyperflash?
Resistor
Thanks Aaron great video I want to do that to my Sierra
Do it! I love it on my truck.
Just converted my lights on my 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500hd! Look awesome! Thanks for your info and videos! Keep them going! Big fan!
Thank you!
Just put my Brishine switchbacks in! Look freaking awesome! Thanks so much for your advice!
😳 They look freaking killer!! Great video. Keep them coming, Chicago is definitely watching!
Thank you so much!
Cool truck bro I just bought a 2005 and I'm watching ur videos to see what else I do to it, btw I'm from Orlando Florida
That’s awesome! I go to a couple truck meets in Orlando. Maybe we will run into each other some time! Thanks for the support!

How did you end up hooking up the inside lower light to the turn signal? I wanna do that with mine
Did you need resistor for double led
Hey man, nice video. Do you need resistors for these?
I believe her said the resistors are already built in
on the switchback bulbs is it just plug and play?
Do the headlights need to be on for the drl to work?
My DRL will not come on without the head lights
What a simple but huge change
Made such a difference
Hell yeah bro!! they look great doing it on my tahoe 👍 thumbs up
Thank you!
Do i really need a resistor if i have a led flasher?
what lift does ur truck have?
6” rough county with 2” lift springs and a 3” body lift
Hey man, do you need resistors for this?
Since they are LEDs without the resistors, they will hyperflash. I highly suggest getting resistors.
Aaron Cates thanks for the reply, did you get away with not running resistors? Lol I’m just lazy when it comes to wiring
They sell ones that you can literally just plug in they just cost a little more.
@@AaronCates you got a link for em? Much appreciate
Can’t wait for Myrtle beach nationals. Definitely gonna have to catch up and see this beast 😎
Sounds like a plan to me! Hope to see you there!

I am assuming you did the all four on mod at some point that might be giving me grief, a wire might fix that tomorrow.
they let us do anything down here lol
Bumper cover and lower valance looks awesome painted! About how much did that run you to get them painted to match?
Great video I would love to put those in my truck but I suck at wiring
Now you need boost auto switchbacks tows🤷♂️
I might have to do that in the future.
This was a year ago???????
40% tint on my front windshield 🤣 FL don't care
