We all think the same when we see cars abandoned, shouldn’t be outside or even be left there etc, but the truth is things get in the way of life sometimes and usually the owners had good intentions. I parked a car in my garage in October 2015 and it was only meant to be there three months, well it’s still there now. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Things like that are always nice to find. Even if the land rover isn't mechanically fit, I'm sure if you sold it in parts, there's enough restorers out there that you could get a much larger amount for it like that. The Capri is looking pretty good, considering the age. You can choose several driveline options, depending on how much fabrication you are willing to do. A reinforced front end would probably be necessary if you don't have an aluminum block engine. Very smart looking, as well. I'm not sure about purple being the best colour, however. Great find! If all else fails, you could make a funky sculpture from all that stuff. Lol

It'd be great to find out the chassis number on the Capri and the Series III, from one of the earliest Capris to probably one of the last Series Landies. Judging by the mileage and the tax disc, it must have only been in use for a few months. The Rover SD3 is a very rare spec too, the 213SE was automatic transmission only and not many were produced. My parents had a 213S in the same targa red in 1987 and my first car was a base 1988 213. Such smooth cars to drive.

The tractor is a Fordson Super Dexta manufactured by Ford at Dagenham between 1962 and 1964. The front end cowling damage was probably sustained over time from working on the farm clearing the crew yards. Its front end loader and tines are on their side in front of the Dexta amongst the 'junk' along with a spare rear wheel. However once restored or oily rag conserved would make good money too.

The mk1 Capri production started in November 1968. This one was registered in March 1969. So it would most likely have been made between November 1968 & January 1969. It will definitely be a very low chassis number. Cheers. Leigh. PS. The tractor is a Fordson Dexta. My Granda left me his Super Dexta 3cyl diesel. The difference between the two is the Dexta has headlamps on the side of the grille & the Super has them in the grille mesh. This one is the 2nd generation with the newer nose produced between 1961 & 1964. Mine was a 1962. Unfortunately had to sell it to buy a van.

That is definitely restorable, all the bits are available. Just time, money and skill. Worth a lot of money now, silly money TBH.
