Happy to help :) and yup, most PC tutorials will translate directly to android, although I do have specific android videos as well, as extracting and file transfers can be different there ^
hi there, did you test yabause or yabasanshiro? those are the only one can scale the game to hd and i have tried many bios on it and none of them works or load the game, just load the saturn menu, i am using a xbox series retroarch, can you try to make it run and check if it works for you?
Thanks dude i watched you since 2019 from Atari Lynx Vids also i changed my name i used to be Elias Alam But i am now Pops Corner 2010 For Privacy Reasons but still thanks for these easy videos i been subed since you only had like 800 or 1k subs keep on going for 50k
I am unable to get some games to work. Some do work and load fine. The ones that do not(shining force scenario 2, virtual on) i am simply taken to the boot menu with the cd tracks. I have the correct bios for the japanese version. Even usa versions some do not work and go to this screen. Any idea what could cause this?
so uh before i had the bios the game wouldn't load but now that i have the bios when i load the game the game the window that opens is just white then thats it
Good tutorial, I must admit I've never been a fan of retroarch it's far to complicated and annoying for what it should be I tend to use stand alone emulators as they are quick and easy but I have to say retroarch is running the saturn like i remember it, it's like the mids 90s all over again :) I wanted to play Virtua Fighter 1 and Nights again and the games are running great and with crt scanlines and using an xbox controller
I usually get dedicated emulators for some specific consoles as they are indeed less bloated. But just having all settings, saves and everything else in one app is nice! But having a mix between dedicated and retro arch also works fine for me :)
Sadly Saturn emulation seems to still need more development. Trying to run the recently translated Grandia and keep getting mixed results. Kronos core the intro FMV is split horizontally with the bottom half being pure red. YabaSanshiro the intro FMV and the ones that plays after selecting New Game play fine but once it gets to the guy sitting on the chair/throne, the game starts chugging at 39FPS. And Yabause seems to have problems rendering FMV as the inro as well as the one after New Game are split vertically lol. And Beetle Saturn there's all these white/green dots like static in the FMVs.
@@immortal98638 one of the hardest systems to ever program for, part of its quick downfall. I'm sure emulation is just as difficult and since it's not exactly at the top of the console food chain you get why it took so long
Unfortunately, l did all the mentioned steps accurately, but the games can't be loaded without any reasonable reasons. l tried my very best to run it by all means. l downloaded all bios from reputable websites. in the end,it didn't work
Any tips on how you import the .cue into the playlist on reproach? I found the game .cue and scanned it multiple times but it is not showing up in the playlist
wait what. where to download bios files. you just show us the website but that website doesn't have anylink to download bios. and you just how us your folder have the bios files. but we don't have it.
Hi there, I tried adding a rom in (bin and cue file) but the game doesn't load up and goes to the disc player instead. The game is albert odyssey. Anyone please and thank you
bro you've just run a easy game that can run in any sega saturn emulator can you make a video on how to run other games like Rabbit or earth worm 2 or sokko conical
There are speed controls on RUclips you are more than welcome to use :) The talking speed is always a tricky subject, some people like the speed I go, others do not. It's impossible to keep everyone happy!
Thanks so much!! This process actually works with retroarch plus for android too, your a life saver man!

How are you supposed to download the BIOS files when that website in particular doesn't give you the option to?
Lifesaver. Retroarch makes running these emulators a LOT more simple.
Yes, I love retroarch! :)
Retroarch data folder doesn't show up for me in Windows 11 search, only the RetroArch app. What can I do? I'm a newb at this.

Thanks it was a solution but all the games that I load in cue format the sound is distorted
how do i do it on steam version :(
just thanks a lot
Does this work for the steam version?
I don't see "Download a Core" anywhere. Must have been altered in this versions years later. . .
Does this work on ps3
Installed Retroarch, found and placed the saturn bios, tried both beetle and yabause, load megaman x4. doesnt work.
Can you also test other games? Just to confirm it's not the bios, otherwise try another bios if possible
@@Scoby tried virtua cop 2. still doesnt work. I'll find a solution later maybe.
What system spec are you using right now also?
@@Scoby Ryzen 2700, 16GB ram, GTX 1080
Yeah it's most likely not a spec issue in that case then, weird
so uh before i had the bios the game wouldn't load but now that i have the bios when i load the game the game the window that opens is just white then thats it
Wasn't this emulator hacked?
A while ago yeah, all the cores were lost and unavailable for a while
Doesn't Work for Shining the Holy Ark and Shining Force 3 crashes after the first battle scene.

I can't find .iso files. Well a particular one - World Series Baseball II
do you know if it works on nintendo switch?
Not without doing some homebrew, but I have no experience with that
@@Scoby I'm talking about homebrew yes. I'll gonna give it a try on the weekend

Any tips on how you import the .cue into the playlist on reproach? I found the game .cue and scanned it multiple times but it is not showing up in the playlist
What’s the name of that game?
Thanks!!!!
I thought only playstation needed bios files.
Sorry I want to ask why i cant start the programme after extracting all files
You mean retroarch? Or?
wait what. where to download bios files. you just show us the website but that website doesn't have anylink to download bios. and you just how us your folder have the bios files. but we don't have it.
I don't share bios file links, you'll need to find them yourself, I mention this in the video
so Retroarch is not even a emulator -.- its a program to run emulators, why would i want that when i can just get the emulator?
Yabasharonira? Yabooze?
I can't find the BIOS link please help
As mentioned I won't be sharing any bios links, you will need to find your own
