Luria, I have learned SO much from your channel and picked up my 16 mm Sigma via you link a few months back. But I have a question: when I live stream, my face cam (the Canon M50 ii) with an Elgato capture card AND a new MacBook M1 is still soft… not nearly as crisp as my table cam (iPhone 13 for tutorials) and I'm using Ecamm Live. I know that is a big question, but I am at a loss. If both cams were soft, I'd attribute it to my internet speed, but the table cam is much crisper. Not sure if you have any videos for this. I have everything set up the way you set it up in your Canon M50 ii video. Thanks in advance (and I get if this is beyond a typical RUclips comment! Still love your content!)
If you're seeing that on local recordings, I'd try adjusting your lighting, check to make sure the lens is clean, check the settings you are using in Ecamm.
If you are only seeing that on a platform like RUclips, Facebook, etc. I'd start by clicking on the video while you are watching it to see if you can increase the resolution (they tend to default to lower settings), check that you are using the correct streaming settings for the platform, etc.
Unfortunately, testing is the only way to figure things like this out - but you'll get there! 👍

@@NikolaVojvodic Yep, OBS is another option! Of course, free does come with a price of your time, having to manually keep the plug-ins working, etc. But there are lots of folks out there doing exactly that! 👍
