I use my HD60 this way: RF out from an Atari 2600 into an old VCR (Coax in w/adapter), out from the VCR with composite into an RCA/HDMI converter, then into the Elgato. From there, it goes into my new Atari VCS (mini PC released in 2021). So, it's a VCS/VCR/VCS combo. :)

to a PC, not MAC?
I know there are simple options for capturing the iPad Pro to Mac but it gets messier going to Windows 10....
Hello!!! I already bought HD60 X for my stream, But i don't have see any Vlog using Mobile Games can you do some? i trouble to record because my 4k capture utility in pc not capturering my games , it's black screen only.

This is a great informative video! Thanks so much! I’m gonna check out the follow up video as well. I wanna build a gaming streaming setup with inputs from PS5 and PC - but also a recording studio for singing. The production tips you outlined gave me a lot of inspiration to set everything up! Yeah baby!!! 😆😆😆
Keep in mind, with PS5, you will either need 2 types of mic. A headset with a mic for the PC, and a cheaper beacon or any other studio mic for your team to hear you with. Or, you can buy a 20$ elgato chatlink if you go that route, get the chatlink pro with a build in line isolator to help with buzzing. Then on PS5 the mic will be wireless headset so turn that down all the way. Output to HDMI audio

I dot understand the setup at 5:49. why not attach the cameras direct to the ATEM mini, and then the mini to the streaming computer?
Great question! You can certainly do that! With this map, the idea is that you can run the show using your streaming software with individual inputs coming in (instead of a single ATEM input), and still have separate raw recordings of each camera that an editor can chop up later.
You can do the same thing if you switch your show using the ATEM, this way you can have a second output, (like a script or notes) coming out of the ATEM, the show with graphics streaming from the software, plus the raw files.

Do you have or could you do a vid on this capture card with using a receiver? I’m trying to plug the 60 S plus into a receiver where all of my devices are connected into, so I can basically capture whatever is plugged into the receiver, instead of having to plug it into the individual devices. Is something like that possible?
You'll get the best results if you plug the capture card directly into your computer or docking station. Otherwise you risk a loss of quality or other issues.

How you set it up with obs?
Micro HDMI (camera side) to HDMI cable (capture card), then plug the capture card into your computer.
A little bit confused… so Can I use the hd60x for my Camera and Nintendo Switch? Or do I need two separate items? 😅
You'll need a capture card for each one.

Sorry, no. You'll still need one capture device PER camera that you want to bring in. The HD60 X allows you to send a high quality 4k signal through the HDMI output for different purposes.

How is this different than a StreamDeck?
A Capture Card brings your high quality camera into your computer to be seen by software as a USB webcam. The Stream Deck is a switcher. You set it up to mirror the software and easily with one touch... you can switch between cameras, add overlays, mute/unmute, etc.
Amazing capture card, nevertheless I will wait until it offers HDMI 2.1 for 4k 120HZ passthrough, thats the dream! hehe. Cheers!
