Sadly only learned of the character when I was young through the movie extraordinary gentleman. The character hasn’t been in pop culture for awhile. I’m sure writing English majors are still taught the novel. Me personally I wish Solomon Kane was taught in school more but obviously never will for obvious reasons.
Comedy is dead and its corpse was buried with the rest of the talents that the world is absent of nowadays. Movies, TV, music, books, and art in it's various forms aren't even entertaining in a twisted, masochistic way (like a b-horror movie) and it makes me feel ashamed to be a human.
I haven't heard that part yet but I'm sure I'll cringe a bit. God is AMAZING and anyone who mocks Him will be incredibly sorry one day. I'd like to avoid God's wrath more than anything, ever, and it's incomprehensible how intense it will be when it's poured out at full strength.
I hope James Stockdale heard Miller’s praise 🫡 And by the way - Dan Quayle would be a god send after suffering the Rosetta Stone 2.0 of American comedy that is Biden and his sidecackle, Kamala.

I love Dennis Miller. Always have. Even as a kid, I didn't understand his references on Weekend Update but I loved his delivery and demeanor.
