ELVIS and June Juanico 1956 romance documentary
A stat few remember was the AFL pass completion percentages were abysmal. Still cool and glad this GBP glory years fan’s learned more about the AFL’s history.
Interesting stuff about LeRoy Neiman. I had some of his prints covering the Jets. Don't know what happened to them.
This is so awesome thanks very much real football
The Craig Morton - Haven Moses connection will soon wind up in Canton at the Pro Football Hall of Fame one day.
Thank the Lord for the Sabals.
Sabol’s
Football was a better game with better people back then.
AfL was good football.I remember Ben Davidson breaking Joe Namath's jaw in a championship game at Shea Stadium.Boston Patriots used to play their home games at Fenway Park.Great times!!
Great interview, singing and playing, two of the nicest people xx
CFL is the same today
Guys like Wayne Harris and Willie Schrode came to Calgary because they could make better money in Calgary at that time. Those guys had the talent to play in any league at that time!
Pat played high school football with My uncle Jerry Segars #52
Ralph Wilson bills owner passed on Miami, was instrumental in keeping the league afloat with loans to other owners,He bought the bills for 25 k sold for 2.3 billion.I was 13'in 1966 ln the bills rock pile for the first afl championship game for the first super bowl,Billy Shaw HOF guard Buffalo Bills
3:07 Is that the Rifleman ?
Players now days jump around and celebrating like monkeys at the local zoo.
It’s entertaining entertainment.
NFL got there ideas from AFL .
I thought the Steelers last game in 1973 was against Miami.
Good MOVIE
9:00, I also think that it was just a bigger deal for people on the east coast. I'm from Miami originally and I really miss driving by the Orange Bowl or just seeing it on tv.
3:20, Thousands of empty seats at the AFL/NFL Championship game in 1967. Here in 2024 the average person couldn't go if you wanted. All the rich elites have made it impossible. I haven't watched in years but I like watching the old films.
Sam “The Ban” Cunningham.
Watch that fame.
Enjoying Dennis’ candid honesty here about his sarcastic monkey shtick.
So long to the concrete-lined hole in the ground - Joke-land Mausoleum.
The nfl should be grateful and appreciative of the afl. Without the afl, the nfl would have continued to be boring games of 3 yards and a cloud of dust with guys who just wanted to break someone's leg. The afl brought excitement and a game that highlighted their very talented players
God bless
Denver owner would fight fans to get the balls back after PAT's. LOL
@@julianbrown1092 Hilarious.
Broncomania was a breath of fresh air in the AFC for anyone that was bored of the Raiders/Steelers
Craig Morton should be a Hall of Famer
NFL films is just a shell of it's former self since the Sabols died. The NFL network should be ashamed that they don't air more of these historical gems. They were all over TV in the 70s and 80s.
They don't show the old stuff because they don't want people to see how manipulative, contrived and fake the NFL is now.

JUST GOOD STUFF ................. THANK U ..... !!!! LOVED FRANKLIN FIELD IN PHILLY !
I miss those days when they actually played football now you watch a bunch of pansies who think their movie stars
Good old George blanda quarterback field goal kicker and I forget the third thing he did was it receiver or kick return
One thing I do miss about the 60s and 70s baseball was on TV a lot and it was always on the radio now you got to pay $1,000 just to see 10 seconds worth of baseball on a TV
I was 10 years old watching football with my grandpa we were atheists during football season😅 me and my grandpa also watched the first super bowl in 67 I sure miss old grandpa
N a m a t h .... at 26...my hero growing up as a boy...all young boys need a hero...
27:00...wait...the guy set up Terry Bradshaw with his wife?....to pretend like she was his girlfriend. Bad move.
@ 26:42 the TD should have never counted. Diron Talbert, #72, was offsides.
I thoroughly enjoyed this. It showed football at its finest.
Richie the K to paydirt!
There's Gilligan at 35:27! He escaped from that unchartered desert isle in 1971.
I'm a Tom Landry-era Dallas Cowboys fan. I watched the NFL with my Dad and uncles in the late 1950s, but began watching in earnest in 1963. My favorite decade was the 1960s, but l love the 1970s too. God bless our pro football heroes from a by-gone era 🏈
This was really good breaking down the camera production
I'm a life long Giants fan but, how could you not love Joe Willie Namath living in or around NY. To this day, I remember seeing Joe play against the Giants in the Yale Bowl in 1974 and running for a TD. We had seats behind the Jets bench and near field level. I could really get a feel for how Namath could zip the ball without effort. Incredible.
Joe Namath had a remarkable vertical. Those jump pass pics of him in the pocket are unbelievable.
limped in with that still bad hammy from a 1971 Mike Lucci cheap shot in a pre-season game...put out his right hand to say please don't hit me...
