Let's see how far technology has come when it comes to reverse engineering! In a previous Fusion 360 session: "Reverse Engineering Meshes | AVA: Fusion 360", Customer Success Manager Brian Mongkolpoonsuk took handling meshes by the horn! He covered managing CAD converted STL files and 3D scanned data, showing the leverage you have working with these files inside of Fusion 360.
Since this last Fusion 360 session, Autodesk has added newly improved tools to their mesh-editing workspace. You can now take advantage of parametric HISTORY for your mesh edits. In addition, you can even add engineered features to complex mesh models.
Learn these tools and MORE in this session!

holy thats a crazy workflow change up. that takes a lot of the reverse engineering handwork away, from a program like designx

I have no option in display settings for Mesh. I do have the product design extension. I can generate face groups, but there is no option to display them under display settings. There is no option for "Mesh".

I still have missing faces / holes with .1 - can anything be done to solve this?

I tried the auto BREP function with a 3D scan, but the Face Group Creation made a pretty bad job. It created thousands of little facets.
