I am no medical personnel but I always thought supplements only have positive effects on the body if you are deficient. Vitamin B7 (biotin) deficiency seems to be rare.
Exactly! It won’t have any effect if you don’t have a deficiency. I bought a hair supplement a few years back and stopped taking it after I seen no results. And then I realized that I’m not deficient in any of the vitamins that was in the supplement, so it wouldn’t have done anything different anyway!
5 years ago I got real sick and had to be on the FODMAP diet with lots of beef chicken fish and even I could barely do my hair but my hair grew long and strong. I believe this because I ate this bland diet for about 6 months along with herbs for detox and plenty of water. During that time I took no real major vitamins except vitamin c, niacinamide, magnesium and though I was sick my anemia and vitamin d went away my nails stop being brittle along with my thyroid issues. I truly believe that a healthy lifestyle played a major roll in my hair growth not any a hair growth vitamins at least from my experience. Oh yeah, I forgot to add consistency played a major factor in my health too which is sadly my issue now not the eating healthy part but the “regularly” part. 😤😭
Nutrafol is great. I’ve been taking it for about 7 months. My hair has been growing like a weed. When I look in the mirror, my hair looks like it tends to look when I’m like 8 months pregnant. Like this is the best hair I’ve had in my life. That being said, I never recommend them because the price is outrageous. I have CCCA, and I think anyone without an alopecia condition shouldn’t be spending that much on some vitamins.
I’ve had a great experience with nutrafol but it’s so expensive now I’m using Mary Ruth multivitamins now and Vivisal is a good honorable mention my hair became so strong taking them
I’ve been taking Nutrafol for 7 months. Amazing results, but yea the price is a lot. I’ve gotten 5 inches of growth in this time, and I have alopecia. These are recommended by my dermatologist, so I’ll continue them.
Nutrafol is working for me. It’s not a miracle grower but it does help with hair fall issues somehow. I always thought that my shedding was usually high and I tried everything. My blood work was normal too so I just tried Nutrafol and immediately my hair stopped shedding as much. Now my density is more on the normal side. I have a lot of baby hairs of growing in everywhere and I’m so grateful.
At the beginning of my hair journey I used hair infinity and mane choice hair vitamins. It didn’t do anything for me. I already was eating clean and taking vitamins D and a multivitamin from my doctor.
I’ve only heard a few people talk about msm and I wanted to cover the most popular ones but I still want to highlight msm because I know it’s a thing as well. I will either be doing a part 2 , adding it in when it’s a related topic or an individual video about it in the future so please make sure to subscribe🤎. Also do you have any experience with msm?
Folks there are other ways to get your biotin for example in eggs. I concur the prices were terrible! Now just take a one a day or Geritol (after talking to your doctor) I m just a nutritionist 😂 so true about biotin!!
Oh wow! That’s a pretty high dosage…have you noticed any negative side effects? You may not be deficient in biotin…that could be why you’re not seeing any results 🤎
I’m 63 menopausal and I need my multivitamins. I take old school Geritol and my hair is thriving. Eating healthy is a plus as well.
Me too! Been using Geritol for a year and it works ! No shedding and I have energy! ❤❤

Yes. That’s what I was saying biotin only works if you have a deficiency🤎

Thank you for that revelation 🙏
Where is everyone getting the biotin in their diet from? I must be super deficient because biotin grows my hair like crazy.
I didn’t know Hairfinity was black owned. That’s cool.

I’m happy to hear you’re having positive results 🤎🤎🤎
The best drink for me is: water , organic green tea and coconut water! They keep my skin and hair hydrated!
I couldn’t get into coconut water but I hear great things🤎

I’m happy to hear you found something that is cheaper and that effective 🤎🤎🤎
*Vitamins and Minerals* usually only work if you have a deficiency. The word supplements encompasses much more than just vitamins and minerals.

That’s so awesome to hear and it’s great you checked your blood work first before taking Nutrafol🤎🤎🤎
I was relaxed ten years ago and I took hair infinity for awhile. I saw no change in my hair at the time so I stopped.
It took a month and a half for it to start working for me.
Yeah hairfinity is too expensive not to produce results…I would have stopped too lol 😂
I’m happy you saw results @jem5122 ….about how much growth did you experience?
Biotin breaks me out real bad. I can’t take large doses of it.
I took Biotin for hair growth and every where on my body that has hair grew like a cave man!
lol 😂 I’m glad to hear it worked atleast 🤎
I remember MSM was also a popular supplement for hair growth
Yes I need to do a separate video highlighting msm…thanks for watching 🤎
At the beginning of my hair journey I used hair infinity and mane choice hair vitamins. It didn’t do anything for me. I already was eating clean and taking vitamins D and a multivitamin from my doctor.
I’ll be talking about mane choice next week🤎
CVS hair and nail gummies. BOGO. That’s it.
😊🍵
🤎🤎🤎
Well done
Thank you 🤎🤎🤎
I b scared to take supplements
Me too…unless I absolutely have to take them🤎
How are you not talking about MSM in this video?

I suspected that hairfinity was black owned.
I had no clue…what gave it away for you?
I've been taking extra biotin since July, 5,000mg. So far no change!
Oh wow! That’s a pretty high dosage…have you noticed any negative side effects? You may not be deficient in biotin…that could be why you’re not seeing any results 🤎
